Perfect house and location for a big family

This was the perfect house for our family of 14, ranging in age from 1 to 65. Every morning we enjoyed our coffee on the dock over looking the bay, and then it was a short walk to the ocean side beach - spacious and beautiful. We would head back for a swim in the pool or floating on a raft in the bay. The house is in a great central location in Brant Beach so that afternoons and evenings were filled with walks to mini golf, shopping, ice cream or meals. The house had all of the conveniences we need: washer, dryer, dish washer, outdoor shower, grill and lots of pool toys and games. And the view from the master bedroom is spectacular! We all agreed that the pictures on VRBO did not do the house any justice. The 2 small things that bothered us: there was an ant problem in the kitchen and there was no ladder at the end of the dock to get in and out of the water. These problems were minor compared to how much we enjoyed this house. We would definitely rent this place again.

Location location location

Positives - big home, lots of beds and sleeping options, on the bay (no bay beach as listed), long dock for crabbing, fishing, lots of water toys available in garage, toys and bikes for small kids, rafts for above ground pool, paddle boards, and more. Extra fridge in garage is nice for drinks. Hot tub on lower deck is perfect for watching the sunset, seats 4. Very cold A/C is nice for hot days. 1.5 blocks to beach, short walk. Kitchen is open to eating area and family room. Lots of space to eat. We had 10 people and everyone had space to eat together. Smart tv in family room, can log in to your Netflix, etc. lots of bathrooms, laundry, kitchen has essentials (salt, pepper, etc). Lots of parking. Only a few blocks to bakery, ice cream, mini golf/arcade and some shops. Negatives - not many. Place is a little outdated but no big deal since the price, size, location and amenities are all perfect. Pool is not heated, does have a solar cover. Pool is tough to get in and out of since it is above ground and the steps are wobbly. But very refreshing. Wifi does not reach all bedrooms (sometimes), probably because house is so big. Would absolutely rent this place again.

The property is situated right on the bay and only about a block from the beach. Best of both!!!

We had a wonderful time. Our two families had plenty of room and the accommodations were spot on. The view and access to the bay was great and the short walk to the beach allowed us to experience the best of both worlds. The kids really enjoyed crabbing off the boat dock, paddle boarding in the bay and swimming in the pool. We could walk to a few restaurants and shops or bike to several more. The rooftop Jacuzzi was not working the week we stayed but we really didn't miss it. Overall it was a fantastic trip.
