**Beginning January, 2026, Seas the Day! will be a MONTHLY (28 nights within the same month) RENTAL. Stay a month and live like a local!

THE PROPERTY: This 2-bedroom 1 bathroom condo with an oversized shared pool is a wonderful place to kick back and relax after exploring the island. Located near the excitement of Duval Street yet tucked back near the water, this tree-lined community is in a perfect location. For history buffs, the Truman Annex is where the winter White House of President Harry Truman is located.

Enjoy morning coffee on your covered front porch with seating for two. Inside, the cozy kitchen with pass-through to the dining area has everything you need to prepare meals or midnight snacks. Stainless steel appliances and solid-surface countertops complete the space. The living room has plenty of seating and a large screen TV. Each queen bedroom is decorated in shades of navy blue and white and adorned with nightstands, bedside lighting, and closet storage. The bathroom has a white vanity and walk in, travertine tiled shower. This condo includes your own washer and dryer. French doors lead out to the private patio area with a dining table and chairs, gas grill and loungers.

Your island options are endless. Sit back and enjoy the sunshine and a dip in the shared pool. Revel in a stroll through the lushly landscaped community. The Annex also leads to a waterfront park, playground, and amphitheater. Walk to Fort Zachary State Park’s sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Or enjoy a short walk to shops, restaurants, and bars. Either way, Seas the Day!

BED CONFIGURATION: Each bedroom has a queen size bed and shares the full bath.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: The Shipyard has an oversized pool for its guests with plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing. Your condo has a private patio with dining table and chairs, loungers, and a gas grill.

PARKING: A designated parking spot comes with this condo. Please note that the vehicle’s size may not exceed 18’long by 80” wide and that this is strictly enforced.

LOCATION: The Truman Annex is in Old Town and faces Southard Street, in Key West’s premiere gated waterfront community.

PETS: This home is NOT pet friendly. (If you have pets, please browse through our many homes that are pet-friendly).

SMOKING: This is a non-smoking home and property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome!Condo is small but as nice as can be. Everything you need is there and no more. No dressers in either bedroom so you basically live out of the suitcase but I think this is typical of Key West. Outside deck is big and gorgeous with plenty of vegetation and lots of privacy. Only 1/10th of a mile from Truman Annex park to walk in and just a few blocks from Duval. Close to everything but quiet at night. HKWVR was great. They let us drop our bags off when we got there until we could check in. Check in was available an hour early. Had and issue with water backing up in the dishwasher. Called and they had if fixed in no time while we were out and about.

Excellent experience at Seas The Day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My son, daughter-in-law, and I made a last minute vacation change and were blessed to find and select the Seas The Day VRBO. We had a cruise planned planned for 4 months, and 1 1/2 days to departure, Carnival notified us of the cruise cancelation due to ship engine problems. The condo was in a great location of all activities on and around Duval Street, and the warm where we could watch the World Offshore boat races. We didn't need a rental car, as we could easily walk to most of the island. The condo was clean, with a wonderful patio, and all the basic amenities, washer/dryer, kitchen, iron, hair dryer, and 3 televisions.

Nice, but.....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was excellent, and the deck was good. Unfortunately we had some bad upstairs neighbors while we were there - banging around at 2am. Also, it is not mentioned in the description that the AC air handler is in the bedroom closet, so it's a bit noisey for light sleepers. One more thing - the blinds on the back door were not the ones shown in the picture, they were paper accordian blinds which were held up with clothes pegs - very cheap and annoying.

Location to the pool is a short 2 min walk. The pool area is small but in May not crowded. Plenty of shade that we love. 2 block walk to approx middle of Duval. So location is great.

Accurate description

Everything was as described in other reviews. Great location for sure. Easy access to pool and Ft. Zak beach. The only downfall was this place is SMALL. The pictures don’t really capture that. I can’t imagine having 4 or more people staying in this place. The kitchen is only 3 feet wide between the counters. You literally can’t get by another person even if you are a normal size person. But other than the tight quarters, it was a great place to stay, location is crazy good.

Wonderful property- very clean, nice area of town. I recommend this property. Only negative was the pool was a distance away, but very manageable The host staff was excellent.

Perfectly located charming condo

Our family of 3- Mom, dad and young adult son - enjoyed our weeklong vacay in this well- appointed condo. It is perfectly located in the Truman Annex- within walking distance of all old Key West. The property managers were very easy to work with and check in and out were easy. The condo complex pool is very pleasant and having the state park and beach within walking distance is wonderful! Would certainly stay here again!

Perfect vacation getaway!

Reviewer Comments: We loved this rental, the size was perfect for the two of us, and we loved coming back each night to sit on the rear deck and share a glass of wine. It's quiet and intimate and we loved that the French doors opened up to expose the deck. It's so close to Duvall street, we walked or rode bike everywhere we went. Love the vegetation around these rentals too, very tropical!

Well placed Key West crash pad

V good location just off Duval. 15 mins walk to the drive boat dock, via the main drag. Apartment is clean, deck area v usable. Kitchen tiny but serviceable and reasonably well equipped for basic breakfast and lunch prep. Utility (washing facilities) great. Beds comfortable, plenty of storage. Bathroom small but well presented - shower is great. Area is nice and feels safe. Central pool is simple but clean and well-used. Parking easy and v convenient. Would return if we were back in Key West. Mgt company was v helpful; out of hrs access was easy.

Wonderful winter escape!

The newly renovated property is beautifully decorated, nicely appointed, and the kitchen is well equipped. The large back deck surrounded by lush tropical landscaping is a great spot for dining, reading, and relaxing. Loved enjoying a glass of wine on the deck after a day at the beach! The location in the Truman Annex is close to Duval Street, Ft. Zachery State Park, and many wonderful restaurants. Rent a bike! Key West is the perfect size to explore by bicycle! We also went on a sunset cruise and kayak trip arranged for us by the concierge who was very helpful and responsive as is everyone at Historic Key West Vacation Rentals. We will recommend this property to our friends and family without hesitation and we definitely will rent again! Can’t wait to go back!! One mistake we made was waiting until the last night to go to Bo’s Fish Wagon! Wonderful fish sandwiches and great atmosphere!

Much needed rest!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived 8/4/18 to Key West to begin our vacation, the check in process was hassle free. Our vacation spot was just minutes away. We arrived at the condo and we were very pleased with the tidiness of the home. It had beautiful up to date furniture and plenty of space for us to enjoy our time there. The pool was a very nice area, great to chat with the other guests. The unit came equipped with plenty of extra towel and blankets. I loved my morning coffee on the deck. It was always so peaceful and quiet. The only downfall is there is only 1 parking spot for guests. Ended up paying 18/day for a 2nd vehicle in a parking garage. Overall we had an awesome stay and would stay here again when we visit Key West.
