Fish camp

This place is perfectly suited for our needs. Beds, amenities including an ice maker on the patio and my boat tied up on the water. I really liked not having to worry about tides having my boat moored up. Rates were easily acceptable, and the property owner/operator is top notch on communication and whatnot. 100% would recommend and stay again.

Great place

Great place for a fishing trip. Slept 6 of us and didn't feel cramped. Bonus the boat able to pick us up from the houseboat.

Nice place

The place itself was great had everything we needed in the kitchen plenty of room and very homey feeling. The biggest issue I had with the property was the fact that is was listed as having WiFi and when I tried to connect couldn’t find it and called the owner and he said that someone stole the router last month and I understand that things happen but when you list it as having WiFi and you get there and there isn’t any it’s frustrating I wasn’t able to get any work done and the people with me weren’t either

Weather didn’t cooperate with us on the initial booking and we had no problem shuffling the dates around with the property manager. He was very responsive and we will be staying here again

Venice fishing trip

Great place to stay at Venice Marina. Very clean and well equipped house boat. It's great when your charter captain picks you up off the back porch.

This property had pros and cons

Pros - Boat is able to be docked at property Ice machine is a plus. Cons - Bugs Very low water pressure and no hot water TV had no batteries (we bought) and you could not watch any other channels except DVR AIr conditioner vents were just disgusting. Pillows had a smell to them The back walkway getting inside the houseboat can be very dangerous when the tide moves in or out. I just had hip surgery last year and it was very dangerous for me. Several days the walkway was straight up in the air. No one could walk on it like that. I left the place cleaner than it was when my husband and i first walked in the door. I cleaned it thoroughly like i owned it.

Good hunting and fishing lodge (houseboat)

The lodge was fine for our purposes. The a/c's worked great, the back deck was nice. The freezer and ice maker were a real plus. The furniture was dated and the ceiling leaked. The dish Network was not working. I question the near $90.00 cleaning fee when we had to do most of the work, strip the beds take out the trash make sure all the dishes were washed and put up.

Fishing barge

Not a bad place for the money. Needs a little work like all the houseboats in the marina. Located on the T dock so a little walk to your truck. Very reasonable for what you get. Everything worked ice machine ect
