A single-story 5-bedroom, 5.5 bath home located in the wildly popular, gated Heartstone subdivision, Wind River sleeps 24 in 10-queen and 2-double sized beds.

Just a block away from one of the two private subdivision parks on the Frio River, this home allows you to enjoy it all. Have a golf cart? Bring it with you! Heartstone is the only subdivision in Concan that permits the use of golf carts within its confines. Don't have a golf cart? No worries! You can rent one and have it delivered and waiting for you when you arrive.

Situated under large oak trees and featuring an oversized covered back patio, and a sparkling swimming pool, Wind River offers enjoyment for everyone in your group.

Everything was perfect, from cleanliness to location and comfort! The home was extremely comfortable and spacious for our group of 5 families. Having easy walk and drive access down to the river was a huge plus, and the host was wonderfully responsive and quick to communicate whenever needed. Highly recommend!

Frio family fun!

The house is very spacious, everyone had their own room and bathroom. Main area was very nice. River access with subdivision is great !

Easter Weekend

Absolutely loved this house! Fully equipped kitchen Large spacious rooms. The backyard is a great size For entertainment that held 5 families!!! Memories of a lifetime !!!!

Labor Day Trip

The place was great and met our needs. We came it with a large group of adults and children with plenty of space to play and park. It is walking distance to the river and lots of places near by to run and grab something at the store. We had a great time. Thank you!

We had an amazing trip at the Frio! The house had everything we needed, it was clean and organized. The hosts communicated with us and answered any and all questions we had. We loved the location of the house and how easy it was to get down to the river with the golf cart (We highly recommend bringing or renting one). We would love to come back!

Family from Texas, Colorado and Oregon. My Dad is 88 years old. We had a wonderful time. Close to river. Very nice home. Will come again.

Eclipse Trip

Wonderful home. Nice location. We felt that for a premium price, the home should have included sheets and towels. Also should have included toilet paper, bathroom supplies, dish washing liquid, laundry detergent, and basic spices. Some of these items were provided when we arrived, but we were told we needed to provide them, so we had already bought them

Beautiful home!

We loved this house! The river was down so the back patio and pool were a major hit for us! We had 24 people in our group and this house didn’t disappoint. We were able to all comfortably be in the house without being on top of each other!

Hey y'all! We're Brannon & Wendi Hightower, owner-operators of Frio River Resorts.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
