Great Family house

Our family spent Thanksgiving here and we were very happy and comfortable. The house is charming and clean and the kitchen well stocked. We had everything we needed for our stay.

We love this beach cottage

We spent last week of 2020 here in this lovely cottage. It is not crowded at all and very close to the beach. It is very kids friendly and full with lovely decorations.

Nice Location

The home is clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. Our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard. Having a restaurant across the street was also a nice perk. At the end of a long day all we had to do for dinner was walk across the street!

Perfect!

We had a great stay! Accommodations were perfect for our family of four and grandmother and our dog. So inviting and clean inside! Back porch and fenced back yard provide privacy. Very short walk to beach (must take dog to dedicated dog beach…definitely recommend New Smyrna dog-friendly beach). Check-in and check-out super easy. Boondocks Restaurant right across the street…good convenient meal choice. Would stay here again when in the area.

This is our 3rd time to the area but our first time in the seaside hideaway property that was exceptional. The furniture, design and layout were top notch. Everything was in superb condition and kept exceptionally clean. Our pets were made welcome and the outside space was just enough for them to bask in the Florida sun. The house is close to the beach, the local bar and within easy access of shopping and local sightseeing attractions. If you are visiting Wilbur and location, cleanliness and space are what you need then this is the place for you.

Length of driveway and parking area were a little deceiving in pictures on website. Was expecting more room for my motorcycle trailer and vehicles. Otherwise, house and location were great.

Perfect Rental Home!

My family and I stayed here for 7 nights. We visit this area every year and this was the first time that we chose to not stay right on the ocean. We loved it! Location was perfect, both for driving and walking. We were able to easily walk to the beach every morning for a run and to watch the sunrise. The house itself was very clean and has everything one could possibly need! The garage is fully stocked, including plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, a pop up tent, body boards, football, etc! This made our beach trips easy and enjoyable. Having Boondocks right across the street is also a perk - great food, service and atmosphere! We would highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Nice Little Cottage

Over all this was not a bad place to stay however there is a very temperamental neighbor so you must remain abnormally quiet. The carpets have stains that appear to me pet related but there was no oder. The property appears to be larger then it is by the angle of the pictures and the garage is full of what appears to be the homeowners stuff. You will not get a car in there if that is your intention.

2nd Time We Rented This House

We rented this house for in 2023 and in 2024. We would not have come back if we did not think it was very nice. There were a couple of minor problems this time. The combo for the door would not work when we arrived and the Internet was down once we got inside. Both problems were taken care of quickly. The internet outage probably explained the combo not working too. We hope to rent it again in 2025 unless more people come with us next year!

Bike week 2022

We had a great time staying in this home and the location was great. It was nice to just walk across the street to Boondocks. Everything was as shown in the pictures. The only thing I would recommend is that if guests are hauling a trailer down to ask for the length of the driveway for parking. The photo makes it appear much longer than it really. Other than that, we had no issues at all. The host, Gary, was also great. He's super friendly and quick to respond to any needs. We'd definitely stay here again!
