We have stayed here many times and always have a wonderful time! The beach access is perfect and the community is wonderful. The house was not as clean as it's been in the past; especially the back futon room. The pots/pans selection was not good. (All were mismatched and/or damaged so coming at home was harder this time.) Supplies were not as fully stocked as usual and bikes were not there anymore. All that being said, it is a wonderful beach house for our family and pets and we will, without a doubt, be back again! Thank you

Great Beach Location

The house was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and a very short walk to the beach. The ocean views from the house were spectacular!

We had a fantastic time! Location was ideal and the house had everything we needed. The beach supplies were an appreciated added bonus—it was so cool to try out crabbing!

Close to the beach

What an amazing stay. Listening to the waves and the peaceful location was what I wanted. The upstairs bedroom and living room has a full ocean view. It was so relaxing, I didn’t want to leave.

Relaxing Getaway

Wonderful, quiet location to getaway for a couple of days. We enjoyed walks on the beach in between comfortable times reading and playing games at the beach house. We would happily come back.

We stay annually at Cape Meares for a gathering of friends. This property is the absolute best of the 5 or 6 homes we have rented. We are cooks, and Lucy’s place is well stocked with every utensil I can ever imagine using. The beds are comfortable, the views incredible, the upstairs bedroom suite is a relaxation dream come true. The living room is comfortable and everything works well. I’m afraid if I continue lavishing the praise, that this house won’t be available the next time we visit! But the house and owner deserve the praise. It’s awesome.

Great stay in Cape Meares

Our family of three & two dogs enjoyed this wonderful, cozy Cape Meares home. It has great ocean views and is a 1 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook each night and morning, and the wood stove kept us toasty warm. We’d gladly stay here again!
