Charming 4-BR, 3-Bath historic home with a lovely combination of Old & New features including original refinished wood floors, coffer ceilings, granite counter tops, ceramic tile, and stainless steel appliances. Located in Historic Georgetown (the third oldest city in South Carolina) just off of Highway 17 between Charleston and Myrtle Beach.
Enjoy walking to shops, restaurants, Harbor-walk and East Bay Park. Perfectly located for the many events in Georgetown including The Wooden Boat Show, Historic Georgetown Bridge to Bridge Run, fishing tournaments, plays at the Strand Theater and much more!
Relax on the large Charleston-Style porch after the end of a long day exploring the history of Georgetown, on Pawleys Island, or out on the Intracoastal Waterway. Boaters can take advantage of the two marinas located one block away and be in the Atlantic Ocean, Winyah Bay, or Waccamaw River within minutes.

We absolutely love the house and location. If you love an old historical home this is for you. We love early American History so this home was perfect. Such a perfect location with easy access to downtown Georgetown, and super easy drive down to Charleston. We already are planning on returning here several times this year. Highly recommend it to you.

Yearly Georgetown fishing trip

Great base of operations walk to everything we needed , charming older home well appointed, modern bathrooms and kitchen comfortable place to crash and chill, super quiet neighborhood. In historic district and close to lots of good restaurants and front street boardwalk.

Nice historic house in a great location

This house was great for eight adults over two nights in downtown Georgetown. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas were helpful when it rained during our stay. Will definitely stay again if we have 6+ people. Super location and beautiful houses all around.

Historic House/Great Location

This historic house (c 1750) was located within walking distance to downtown Georgetown. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The addition in the back provided two living room areas that allowed for plenty of space. We would stay in this house again!

Great Georgetown Find

Great place to gather with family

Our stay was so very nice! We were 3 retired brothers with wives in town for a family wedding. The house was very accommodating and very clean! We were so close to downtown and enjoyed a walk one evening. We would definitely stay again! Thank you, Hannah!

Quaint old house. We had issue with the AC because it was preset and turned off in the evening which made the house hot, especially upstairs. This made for poor sleeping conditions. We also saw cockroaches crawling up walls in family room.

Beautiful!! Perfect location.

We had a wonderful girls weekend away from home. It was a perfect location to downtown, the water, the tours, and more. Highly recommend.

Excellent for couples or family get away

Great historic home that has been completely updated. Very comfortable for couples wanting a great little South Carolina town. Terrific places to eat, shop & visit plantations. Don't miss Hopsewee Plantation. Will be back!

Perfect Location

This historical home is very comfortable for family or group of friends. Perfect location to downtown Georgetown, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hannah, the Property Manager was very accommodating and helpful. Will stay again in the future.

In Between Stay

We were looking for a centralized location between Myrtle Beach and Charleston and chose this comfortable house. It was everything we were looking for Georgetown was a great little community with lots to do, we never even went to Myrtle Beach. The beaches at Pawleys Island were terrific and not as busy. We would definitely book this rental again in the future.

Comfortable house-close to restaurants and Harbor Walk

Perfect for weekend getaway. Plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen well stocked and easy to prepare meals. Pleasant short walk to downtown restaurants or run across the street to Independant seafood and get fresh shrimp to prepare at home. We had a great time and will definitely be back! Owner was very accommodating and really looked out for our needs.

Gorgeous older home with lots of space and ambiance.

As soon as we walked in this house, we felt at home. Functional, beautifully decorated, well maintained with more than enough space. The location was perfectly located and just a short walk to town. We spent a glorious week taking advantage of the proximity to many oceanside towns. The folks in Georgetown were kind, friendly, and helpful.

Charming Home on Front Street

The house was perfect for our travel needs. 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath. The house is located on Front Street in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The owner (lives in DC) and her sister Hannah (local) that sends the information for check in could not have been more pleasant to work with. The house is older however many upgrades throughout. We will stay again when we travel to Georgetown again.

Slice of History and Heaven

Comfort with character that cannot be adequately explained. Sitting on the porch after a very short walk downtown for excellent meals and shopping. Why stay in boring hotel room or average house. This house was built in 1750 and upgraded with all the modern luxuries—do yourself a favor and do something completely different.

Home away from home

4 of us enjoyed staying at 412 Front St. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. We all loved how much of the house felt original. At the same time, the amenities were modern: the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cutlery, dishes, birthday candles, and more. Beautiful stone countertops. A nice stash of games and children's toys. I quickly claimed one of the rocking chairs on the porch for morning coffee and reading. The town of Georgetown (historic district) was 2 blocks away -- a lovely walk under live oak trees. 2 seafood markets were within 3 blocks. A city park was a few blocks away, complete with walking trail, playground, tennis courts and fitness course. The house's location was ideal for us. The house itself was welcoming and quiet. I will recommend this house to others, and hope to stay here again in the future.
