This is one of the cluster of homes located Right On the Colorados surf break. Check the surf while enjoying your morning coffee; paddle out, get shacked and be back in time for burritos before the sun clears the eastern hills.

Well laid out for multiple families or larger groups, Santuario del Sol has easy sleeping space for eight and additional sleeping space for maximum group size of ten. The upstairs master suite has a queen bed and space for two twin beds in, making it ideal for a family of four. Bedrooms two and three each have a queen size and a single bed. Bedroom four, in standalone casita, has a double bed and a twin on a mezzanine. The casita also has its own kitchenette, porch and sitting area.

Fantastic ocean front home

Our group of 8 (2 families) had an amazing stay at this home. Home is beachfront, directly in front of Colorados surf break and 2 min walk to Pilis restaurant, 7 min walk to panga drops. James was a great host and very responsive and helpful with any questions. Would stay here again for sure - great trip!

Bach trip of a lifetime

James was super accommodating of all my requests. He set everything up for us personally and made sure everything was on time. Andrea, our full service maid/chef was 10/10. Her food was spectacular and she made us feel like kings. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing Beach Stay

The house was in a wonderful location, and the cook was amazing. The host James was very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. I recommend renting a scooter or golf cart while you are here to help you get around a little bit.

Surfers paradise

This was my fifth surf trip to Nicaragua, and my friends and I agree it was probably the best. The location of the house couldn’t be better, just steps away from me main break at playa Colorado. When we’re not surfing we can watch all the other surfers put on a show from our backyard. James and Norman were very responsive, arranging shuttle, transportation, in house dining, and a very productive fishing trip as well. If you’re lucky enough to have chef Andrea prepare delicious Nicaraguan meals for you, you won’t need to do a thing except enjoy the gorgeous beach.

This was our second stay at this house. It was perfect. It's in a great location. Norman was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful! Great for little ones!

Rented this house for my 40th birthday, had several friends with little kids come, and it was perfect. The backyard is amazing and very safe for little ones and family to wonder. We got to watch ‘surf TV’ if Playa Colorado’s while sitting on the fence out back - so cool! Really wonderful place. James is a great, super accommodating and quick to respond. Made our trip easy. Housekeepers are so lovely and wash your Laundry daily! Everyone was so pleasant my group couldn’t have been more happy. Highly recommend for any get away!

Family get away.

James was great from the get go! As the trip approached he made sure all shuttle were scheduled and addressed any questions we had. As some flights got delayed and plans changes he made sure that everything was taken care of. Poncho, James on site help, was like our own personal concierge. I am already looking forward to going back

Paradiso !

Such a beautiful location, landscape, house ! I don’t think the other reviews do it justice. Pool is very clean and lovely. The house is situated right on the beach at an incredible surf break. James was very helpful with all the arrangements and his right hand man Pancho is there for every need keeping everything smooth the whole way through to the end of the stay. We had Andrea cook for us, she’s a fantastic cook and a lovely person to have around the casa. Not one negative thing to say. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back. Thanks for everything !!! Kate

Family surf location

Great communication from the crew. The house is located right in front of the surf break. Plenty of room for everyone. Been back 3 times and James, David and the staff always take care of us. See you guys next year!

Great location, amazing house. The property managers answered all questions throughout the trip in a timely manner. Perfect weather, warm water, and epic scenery. Good surf out front and nearby spots, crowded for sure, but be patient and you’ll get some. Nearby hike , fishing, golfing. Pretty much the house and location have it all, just go.

The ideal vacation for our family.

Probably the best beach vacation rental we have ever had as a family! Lovely house located right on a superb beach, with a gorgeous shady garden and private pool. Ideal for a family with young children as it really suited everybody's needs. We loved spending our days relaxing by the pool and watching the waves, or waking out onto the beach and pretending to be able to surf. Iguana is a great place to be based. Easy to get to, good quality roads, and a lovely little community with lots of places to eat/drink. The beach club is a must for an afternoon smoothie or happy hour sunset cocktail. We were very well looked after by James and his team. The house was thoroughly cleaned every morning and the pool and garden was well looked after too. We really hope to be able to return!

Great place

Great location at the center of the best beach in Nicaragua. The house is comfortable and the pool well placed for surf views, shade and sun. Hacienda Iguana is safe and secure with everything you need... pure vacation.

Amazing

I don’t even really know where to start. The house and area turned out to be amazing and we had one of our best vacations. We did the meal plan which I would highly recommend. Andrea is great and is a fabulous cook and cleans when not cooking. She is very nice and as all the staff. The waves and beach front is one of the best. The house is perfect for the beach. We had 6 people and plenary of room. We saw monkeys right outside the house and the sunsets are literally unbelievable. Loved this place and we will be back ❤️

Great week in Paradise

We had a wonderful time staying with you for a week. The house exceeded all of our needs. The best part is that Colorados was a few hundred steps from the house. All of us look forward to coming back soon!

Sweet little Casita perfect for 2

We loved staying at Casa la Selva. It was perfect for 2. We especially loved sweet Lulu (the house cat) who followed us everywhere. The Casita had everything we needed with close proximity to everything we wanted to do. A must stay for sure. We'll be back soon!

Waves Crashing Paradise

When my husband and I first walked into the house we were dumbfounded. We just couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. There is a great breeze that runs through the entirety of the house, so much so that at night my parents in the bedroom upstairs didn't even need the AC on! And talk about a lullabye... Being right on the beach you could easily fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. James (though this was actually David I was talking to) was incredibly helpful and responsive before we even got to the place. He answered questions in rapid time and accommodated my parents rides to and from the airport. He even showed them parts of Granada and recommended produce at the market. They were ecstatic! The staff was AMAZING. Andrea cleaned for us every day and even washed clothes for us. She also brought in new 5 gal water jugs whenever we were low and arranged for the "lobster guy" to bring us some fish and lobster for purchase. (SO DELICIOUS!) Iain was also a great help. He helped arrange a trip to Ometepe for us (which we didn't end up doing on our own accord, but it's on the list for next year), as well as in-house massages, rides to and from Rancho Santana for dinner, and generally answered all questions we had incredibly fast. The place itself is GORGEOUS. The pool is beautifully tiled and has great shade in the afternoon. There is a round table with chairs beyond that where you can watch the sunset, and the place is within a 5 minute walking distance on the beach to the Beach & Golf Club bar and Pili's Restaurant (both of which I highly recommend). Plus, the hammocks are a major win and a great way to spend the afternoon with a good book. Though it's a bit of a hike, I would also recommend walking into the town of El Gigante to spend some time at the fishing village. It's about an hour walk with great views the entire way. This place was absolutely amazing and my parents and sister in particular (they hadn't been to Nicaragua before like my husband and I had) fell so in love with it they already started planning their next trip. Highly recommend!
