Quiet and comfortable

This property was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was very adequately appointed. The deck provided comfortable seating. We felt like we were the only people in Ruidoso.

Great Rustic Cabin!

The location, wildlife and accommodations are ideal for a family wishing to reconnect and have their pets with them. We really enjoyed our stay and were able to reconnect as a family. We. Loved seeing all the wildlife around.

Charming house

We enjoyed our stay at Lewis Lodge. House was very clean, the king bed was very comfortable, the porches were nice to sit out & enjoy the fresh air. Got to see deer & wild horses from porch! Kitchen was well equipped. House had everything we needed.

Comfy Ruidoso Cabin

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this cabin for a week in August. We sat on the back porch with coffee and the hummingbirds in the morning and on the front porch, for the sunrise, and every evening. The living room was spacious with leather furniture and throws for chilly evenings and the air conditioning was welcome on a couple of warm days. The king bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped for our needs, and the bathroom worked well for us with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The driveway is a little tricky so we decided to park in the space up top and walk up and down the nice steps beside the driveway. We enjoyed the town and all the scenery in every direction we drove. The location is convenient and quiet with greenery all around. We would definitely stay here again! Austin, TX

Wonderful

We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. It was exactly as described and in a quiet location close to town with beautiful views. We even walked to town every day. The place was also very clean and had anything we could have needed for our stay.

The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, in good shape. Location close to grocery and other local shopping. Overall a very enjoyable experience for my wife and. We would happily stay here again. Highly recommend.

Great place!

Very nice place and lived up to the billing. A bit of a problem with starting the fireplace, but to say the least the owner got immediately back to us with a solution. If it's snowy or icy I recommend parking at the top hill as provided.

October stay

The property is explained well in the description. However, we did have trouble getting into the property. Michael called us but it took about 10 min or so. The fire place is gas and did not work. The shower curtain rod fell down and come to find out it was duct taped so the expandable rod didn't work. I don't care about the curtain rod although it was a pain and was put back up. I did rent the cabin specifically for the fire place and that didn't work. So over all not a bad place. It was nice and clean.

Beautiful cabin in a nice forest setting. It is very well furnished, especially the kitchen.

Renting experience went very smoothly. We had a need to contact the owner and that was no problem either….. very helpful people.

Wonderful Place!

This was a delightful stay for my husband and I. We loved the place and how comfortable it was. Very clean and really nice. The covered deck is great even when it’s raining. Our next trip to Ruidoso we hope to book here.

Peace and relaxation!

We came to Ruidoso to escape the Texas heat. We love the cool temps and fresh air. It was so relaxing to sit on the back porch and watch the wildlife. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The three of us enjoyed playing cards. We didn’t need to watch TV!

We enjoy the serenity of the forrest, yet exploring the land of enchantment. From golf, fishing, hiking, skiing, tubing, to shopping, the fun never ends. Local casino's, Irish pub with live music or racetrack are great for an adult getaway or miniature golf and horse back riding with the kids! Great restaurants and shopping. If we are not in the mood for entertainment, nothing beats sitting on one of two of the decks grilling, enjoying the sounds of the season creek.
