Less than 10 minutes from the world famous "Tail of the Dragon.” 12 miles south of Maryville, TN. Less than 1/2 mile from the Smoky Mountain National Park western boundary and 1 mile to Smoky Mountain Park's Abrams Creek trail head. Located just below Look Rock off the Foothills Parkway. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg less than 50 minutes away thru some of East Tennessee's most beautiful mountains. Newly remodeled cabin with 2 loft bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen. Surrounded by 5 acres of forested land for adventurous hikers. Deer and wild turkey can be seen on the property and an occasional black bear. Garage parking for motorcycles. Grocery and beverage shopping service available. Wi-fi, smart TV, and softened, bacteria-free, treated water. King bed in private bedroom. Queen and twin bed in 2nd loft bedroom.

Amenities: New refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, gas cooktop range, large toaster oven, toaster, waffle irons, coffee pot, coffee replenishment daily, linens and towels provided, all dishes, silverware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and dishwashing detergents. Breakfast food provided during your stay at no charge. Grocery and beverage shopping service available.

Perfect stay for us

Does have open Floorplan, but for a dad and teenage son this was perfect. Felt like staying with family and the location was perfect for us. Peaceful and relaxing. Mike was amazing

Little cottage on Cooper Road

What a fantastic visit we had! Close to Maryville Tennessee. The cabin appears small, but has a nice upstairs loft that host the sleeping areas One fill bath on the main floor, living room and kitchen with an attached garage that has a range washer and dryer. The host Mr. Mike was amazing and accommodating. We enjoyed getting to know him and more about the area and property. Thanks Mr. Mike! You and your cabin was just what we needed!

Such a wonderful stay.

We stayed here for four nights to see the area and enjoy nature. We had an amazing visit. Mike is so friendly and attentive. The cabin was clean and comfortable and well stocked. We will love to come visit again.

Perfect Getaway in the Smoky Mountains

Cute little cabin surrounded by trees, hidden from the sounds of the city. It was perfect. Had everything we needed and Mike was the best host! Cant wait to come back! 10 out of 10

Great cabin and host!

The day we arrived we found signs on the road with our name and arrows pointing to our turns. The host was very friendly and provided above and beyond what was expected.

Great mountain cabin with a perfect host

The cabin was extremely clean and well organized and we were so comfortable there. My teenaged boys absolutely loved it, though were a bit sad that we didn't actually see the bear that was wandering around. Mike is the best host that I could imagine. He put up signs to direct us to the house, had breakfast food, and was just extremely helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great quite cabin

My first thought when I pulled up was wow it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be!!! Very clean and stocked with everything it said it be. Might stay there again if I come back!!!

Fall get away.

Great cabin that is just as advertised, clean and well maintained. The host was friendly and willing to help with anything needed. Extra touches like stocking the refrigerator with breakfast foods and marking the short road to the cabin with our name was appreciated. Hope to visit again some time.

Foothills Stay

We really enjoyed the location and the host. We went to Cades Cove from this cabin on two different days. It takes about 1 hour to drive there, but the drive is gorgeous! Host provided all the essentials we needed for a 3 day stay. We did go out to eat for dinner each night.

Perfect Get Away

My son and I spent several nights at the cabin. The cabin is super clean. We loved the proximity to the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, Foothills Parkway and so much more. Mike is a wonderful host.

Motorcycle vacation

Came down to Tennessee to ride motorcycles found cabin on Vrbo and couldn’t have been happier cabin was clean and well stocked has a garage so bikes can be kept out of the weather close to the tail of the dragon very quiet and peaceful area I highly recommend owner will bend over backwards to accommodate his guests will definitely go back

Mountain mother in law suite

Gps brought us right to the door. Mike met us out there as you are on his property. Super comfortable and 30 min from anything. No noisy neighbors. Super quiet. 10/10 would recommend. Motorcycle trips or family vacation.

Mountain Hospitality and Comfort

What a great stay and location, with an amazing host. We took full advantage of the hospitality Mike offered: from the fridge stocked with breakfast foods, to the signs guiding us to the location for our after-dark arrival, to the kindness and friendliness he showed to my children. The house was clean, and the cookware was in great shape. This was a great spot, and we would definitely return!

Wonderful and relaxing

My family loved our stay just outside the Smokie Mountains. We spent three nights there, and it was great. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and there was bacon and eggs in the fridge when we got there. Mike was super attentive to our needs and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. We were on the southwestern side of the park, and there were some trails just down the street. We were super close to the Dragons Tail and took that road on the way out at the end of the stay. 5 stars!

This was an amazing place to stay!

This house is perfect for those who love the mountains and especially for guys like us that like the tail of the dragon had plenty a garage space for six bikes, and it was 10 minutes from the tail. The owner Mike was amazing. He left the house stocked with mini breakfast goodies and snacks for our trip. We will definitely visit him again.

Comfortable Cabin

This is a great cabin with everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen was well stocked and the provided makings for breakfast (eggs, bacon, pancakes/waffles, milk, and cereal) made it great to get in one night, and start the next day with a good breakfast and off for a hike. Quiet and peaceful. Greatly enjoyed it and hope to do it again.

Our cabin has been host to numerous family members and friends over the last 13 years. We are semi-retired, and decided last year to get the cabin ready for "paying" guests!! I am a retired RN, and Mike is a well water treatment specialist for AquaClear Water Systems. Originally from Memphis, we decided to come to a calmer, slower part of Tennessee in 2000. We took a deep breath, and moved to the mountains! We rented a house in the woods for a few years, to see if I could stand the "bugs & the critters & the snakes". I managed quite well, so we began to look for a property in the mountains. When we found this home, the guest house was a bonus! Now we have decided to let others enjoy the calm, laid back charm of the Great Smoky Mountains.. The mountain valley where we live is very diversified. You will find million dollar homes, and mobile homes, but everyone is friendly, and I have never felt safer anywhere i have ever lived. So come visit Mike and I next time you want a truly idyllic vacation.
