Spacious new home w/ HOT TUB and fast high speed internet in a quiet area, great for walking and biking! The Townsend Biketrail is less than 1000 ft away! Easily walk or bike to the only grocery store in town- the IGA! And a tunnel in front of the IGA goes under the highway, making crossing the road trouble free. Our home is easy to find- no winding roads or steep hills to climb, and conveniently located to everything Townsend has to offer. Plenty of free parking and Mountain Views included!

Perfect Home Away from Home in an Unbeatable Location

We had such a fantastic time at this cottage in Townsend, TN! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The attention to detail in stocking and preparing the space was exceptional, and it was clear how much care the hosts put into creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The location is absolutely unbeatable—perfect for exploring the area and enjoying the beauty of Townsend. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Pictures don’t do it justice!

We loved our stay. Had all the amenities anyone could ask for. My kids enjoyed the smores station as well as the hot chocolate. We like that we could just park our bicycles and ride them around the neighborhood to local eateries. Will definitely be starting again! Missy was a great communicator and kept us posted on everything.

Texas Sisters in TN

This home is beautifully appointed and the host has done a great job making the property family friendly. Peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of the river and lots of restaurants and shops. We loved it here and will be back and recommend this property to our friends and family. Missy is an awesome host!

Ideal location, wonderful house!

This is the second time our family has stayed at this house and Missy certainly does not disappoint! The cleanliness of the house and attention to detail on the inside and outside of the property makes this an ideal stay for any family. Missy is extremely prompt with communication and the amenities onsite made her house easily feel like our family's home. Our stay lasted one week and throughout that time every accomodation was met and expectaion easily exceeded. Thank you again, Missy, for a wonderful vacation spent with family. Kevin B.

The Peaceful Side of the Smokies..

Our host made our stay the best it could possibly be. She has set the bar so high that the house we stayed in the following week was nice, but it did not have all the personal details that Missy had. Everything was perfect. Keep up the good work, it pays in the long run..... Thanks Again Missy

The Best Stay!

We’ve been vacationing in Townsend for a few years, and this is the best place to stay! This house is so clean and welcoming, and it is fully stocked with everything you need from cooking to recreation. Within walking distance to many great restaurants is a plus!

Perfect Stay

This was such a beautiful home. Clean, thoughtfully decorated and supplied with everything you could ask for. The extra goodies were such a great surprise and very appreciated after a long drive. We loved the location. We biked to all the restaurants and coffee shops and the grocery store several times for forgotten items. Missy was the best host we’ve ever had! Highly recommend this home for your next mountain adventure.

7 Sisters Birthday Celebration

The house was lovely and decorated perfectly for the fall season. Loved the electric fireplace. The kitchen was stocked very well. The beds were comfortable and the house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Close to everything!

Our experience was practically perfect in every way. Missy was the best host and this house was the best we have stayed in as a vacation house. Missy cares and it did feel like home. From a kitchen with everything you need to make a meal to a stocked fire place and games to boot, we were not left wanting. When we get the opportunity to come back to Townsend, there is only one place we will stay.

Perfect location to enjoy GSMNP and small town life!

The Peacefulside is a 100% accurate description of Townsend AND this wonderful home! My family of 7, kids ages 16-2, could not have had a better experience. The wonderful space Missy provides greatly contributed to that. The house is clean with everything you need and more. Missy provides so many things one usually has to purchase upon arrival or bring with them. Our family enjoyed the hot tub, cornhole, hammocks,smore's station, relaxing on the front porch for morning coffee and tea, open floor plan, games provided, book nook and Pac-Man game. It was a quick walk to the IGA for groceries. The Townsend Visitor Center is an official GSMNP bookstore, so you can stop there for park information. I highly recommend the Peacfulside Social creamery and restaurant for dinner out. Also, Townsend Mercantile Co for shopping. Our families favorite things were the River rat tubing, Tuckuleechee Caverns, and GSMNP, especially Clingman's Dome and Cade's Cove.

Great stay

The house was fantastic! The owner was always prompt answering any questions we had and made it extra special for our stay. The house was clean and an easy drive to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
