The property is very private and peaceful. The house is adorable and is well equipped to make your stay feel like home away from home. The hosts are very welcoming and easy to communicate with.

This is a beautiful and sweet cottage with a soft view of the mountains from the front porch. I and my husband and his sister and her husband have stayed here at least 4 different times and we always have an easy and relaxing time with lots of walks and books and "catching up".

We had a great time staying here for the long July 4th weekend. With outside temperatures of 100 degrees, we were very appreciative that the a/c was able to keep up & keep us very comfortable, including upstairs. It was decorated nicely and was very cozy - felt like being in a friend’s home. We would definitely stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were welcomed with a handwritten note and fresh-cut flowers from the property. Enjoyed our mornings on the front porch watching the sun rise over the mountains. Couldn't have been more relaxing!

We wanted a place to just get together for some family time. The cottage was clean and cozy. It is off the beaten path, which was fine with us. We did a little hiking on the Appalachian Trail.

Looks small from the outside but plenty spacious with a nice open design. So so quaint, homey and well appointed!

Weekend stay

This is my second stay at this property for a weekend with close friends. We love the cozy, comfortable atmosphere of this home and the hosts are very responsive to any needs. We’ll be booking again next year!

Anniversary weekend

Girls Weekend Trip

Clean, well stocked, quaint, cozy. Lots of games, books to choose from. Beautiful grounds We brought firewood and had a nice fire in the firepit

Second stay as enjoyable as the first!

Just as peaceful and welcoming as remembered. Good hike at Crabtree Falls (moderately strenuous; pretty). Excellent communication with the owners. We hope to return!

Massies Mill Cottage

Host was very responsive to my questions and the cottage is lovely. It was well equipped with everything we needed and we hope to return next year in warmer weather so we can enjoy the deck and front porch.

Perfect Getaway

From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had a made an excellent choice for our ladies getaway. This home is so inviting…the furnishings, the well equipped kitchen, so peaceful. We all agreed that we would come back again and again.

Cozy, quiet getaway

Nicely decorated, comfy and quiet. Butterfly gardens and humming birds. Nice pots and pans (not the wore out ones found in many rentals). Washer and dryer is a nice plus. All in all it is a very nice place to stay.
