Very clean and well stocked! The location was right where we wanted to be for a few days of exploring the area. If I was in this part of WV I would definitely stay here again!

We loved this lovely, quiet retreat! Everything was so homey and comfortable! It was particularly easy for our old dog to move around since everything is on one level. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing lots of deer and turkeys right from the front porch. Beautiful nature and great restaurants within a few minutes drive. Highly recommend.

Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, everything was clean. Beautiful sunrise view on the front porch overlooking the pond in the morning. Although we didn’t use it, there was lots of room in the front yard and backyard and a very nice fire pit with chairs. We saw plenty of deer every day morning and evening. Close to everything we wanted to do like the Bridgewalk, Fayette Station Road, Babcock State Park and the visitor center. We are already making plans to go back.

Host was easy to work with and responsive. House was very clean and had the log cabin feel. Beds comfy, plenty of sheets and blankets.. We enjoyed the use of the grill and fire pit. Morning coffee on the porch was a plus. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Quiet area.

The house is very cute and perfect location!! My daughter in law loved there was a fire pit and supplies for s’mores! We wish we had booked a longer stay. Very well stocked kitchen. Lots of bath towels. We would stay again!

The property was exactly as advertised. I loved all the little details that were available such as newer appliances, utensils, condiments, blankets, games, etc. that meant I did not have to pack as much. I would book this place again. Highly recommend.

Place was clean and well equipped. Just don't use the coffee pot, toaster, and microwave at the same time - the circuit breaker will trip.

Perfect home away from home.

This property suited our needs perfectly. We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the NRG area. We had our dog with us and the yard was great to let him run and explore. Would stay here again if in the area.

Wonderful stay

The house was comfy and cozy !! Close to the bridge and in a perfect location for everything that my family and I visited. Communication with the owner was great !! It was a perfect place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Victor! The location was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful and secluded, situated on a country road with beautiful mountains and woodlands surrounding the property. At the same time, we were only a few minutes from easy access to Routes 19 and 60, making it convenient to explore the area.The house was very clean upon arrival and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our host also checked in to make sure everything was going well, which we appreciated. Even with the remote location, the internet service was excellent—not something you can always count on in more secluded areas!The large rear deck was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and the hot tub was an especially nice feature after a long day of adventures and exploring.We had a wonderful trip to West Virginia. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, the parks were well maintained, and we found plenty of great food options throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to return!

Off the beaten path

Stay was very comfortable and house was well equipped with what we needed. Location was just minutes from everything we wanted to do over the stay and was super close to the bridge itself.

The cabin was everything we wanted. Numerous small thoughtful details. It’s location to the hiking at the Gorge was also perfect.
