Virginia Highlands Carriage House Apartment Steps From Bars And Restaurants

This is half of the carriage house w fenced in yard behind the famous Whisenant Estate in Virginia Highlands. It is about 500 square feet and has been renovated and perfectly furnished. It is walking distance to tons of restaurants, shopping and bars. The apartment is open with a living room area with a couch chair and smart TV. The next room has a pedestal table and two leather chairs, , washer and dryer, queen sized bed and a wall mount TV, kitchen, and a bathroom with marble tiled shower. This unit has a private fenced in yard so most smaller pets are okay but it must be discussed ahead of time. There is HULU TV that gets live TV, it is NOT just for streaming
Small pets are okay for a $100 charge

I do cannot accept requests for short stays in the future. I usually have my smaller apartments rented for a months at a time. I can only accept a request for a shorter stay if it is close to another check out/check in day
City of Atlanta short-term rental license number is STRL-2022-00632

Cute place in a perfect location

Looks just like the photos and was in the perfect location. There are quite a few restaurants and bars within walking distance and even more just a short drive away. The host was super responsive and accommodated our early check-in. Would definitely stay here the next time we're in Atlanta.

Great for what we wanted to see

contact was easy and prompt. Property was just as depicted on website. The property was a little tricky to locate at first, but the Nancy sweetly directed us to the entrance. The location proved great for the attractions we came to see. Lots of fun restaurants in walking distance.

Great stay in the Highlands!

Great property in a wonderful neighborhood! Nancy was great and parking was easy - always available in a paved area (not street parking).

Best short-ish term accommodation I've had!

Great little place with exactly what I was looking for. I'm not sure if there were parking problems in the past as I saw in other reviews when I was booking, but they were definitely solved. In 4 months there was always a space for my car, if not two. It is a great location and Nancy seemed very available and responsive but in reality I did not even need to complain about anything or need her to address any problems. It is an older property so it isn't insulated like a modern one, but really I'm just trying to find something to criticize when there isn't much...I would have preferred a larger table for my studying but that is probably specific to my own needs. I mean she had fresh flowers in the apartment when I arrived, it was a level above anything else. I would highly recommend this place, and if I needed to stay in Atlanta again this would be my first choice.

Wonderful Summer Stay in Atlanta!

As newly weds looking for temporary summer housing in the Virginia Highlands-Emory area, we truly lucked out in finding this space. The cottage is quietly tucked away behind the main house but conveniently located to all of the restaurants, cafes, and shops that Virginia Highland has to offer, and at walk-able distances! The cottage has everything you need and is fully furnished with TV, wifi, and AC. The owner Nancy Daly made herself available if we had any questions or encountered an issue. With two other nearby units, parking was tricky a time or two but easily resolvable. We had such a wonderful stay here and wouldn't be surprised if we found ourselves back in the future!

Location, location, location

We enjoyed our stay at Virginia Highlands Carriage House Apts. The only down side was the parking. Too many places and not enough space. We would certainly will try to stay here again.

My husband and I purchased this home in 2012 to use as a vacation rental. We live just a mile away so we are always nearby if needed. We have two small children so if you are traveling with children I can provide all that kid stuff needed to make your stay easy.
