Great house for large group. House is stocked with everything you need. We did have an issue with one of the refrigerators. We reached out to a couple of different people to get the refrigerator fixed, but unfortunately we did not hear back from the last person we were referred to. We made due by using the refrigerator downstairs.

Very nice place to stay. The dock was exactly what I wanted for all the water sport boats we brought. No lights on the top of the dock and some poor shower drainage is all we ran into. Overall great place, will recommend.

Perfect Getaway!

The house was amazing. Loved the lake. The location was great for us because we went in and stayed in and had a great time. Can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect for our Friends and Family Getaway!

A West a family trip

Great Location

Love this location on the lake. No wake zone allows for worry free swimming and just a short ride out to the main channel. The house is great for large groups.

This place is at a great location on the lake! The house is gorgeous and the dock is phenomenal! The owners are great to deal with! Can’t wait until next year!

This house was perfect for our large group!

We were here for our 11th annual Thanksgiving reunion. It was perfect for our group of 17. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. It was very nice having double appliances. I would stay here again.

“ROCK OF AGES”

The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to extra towels. The host was prompt and helpful, ensuring we had a smooth check-in and answering our questions quickly. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat! Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we highly recommend it for families or couples looking for a peaceful getaway

Great Lake Front House for Multiple Families!

We vacationed with several families and this house was great. Huge modern kitchen/dinning area for everyone to cook and eat together. Plenty of rooms for privacy if needed. Large dock tucked in cove allowed for great swimming area. Owners were easy to work with and answered our questions.

Perfect in Every Way

Our group of friends have been coming to Norris Lake for a few years now and this is by far the best cabin we've stayed in. Plenty of space, great location on the lake, and very accommodating hosts. The top deck on the dock was a favorite place for our group of mostly 20 somethings to hang out. Can't recommend this place enough

50th Birthday trip

We had a blast at Rock of Ages! We were a group of 18 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. We travel frequently, this was our first lake house experience and it was fantastic! Highly recommend, John is great to deal with and knows everything about the lake. Thanks for a fantastic trip that made my 50th birthday amazing!

Family Fun

Everything was wonderful. The only recommendations we can make is putting a railing of some sort on the sets of steps leading down to the dock.

Beautiful house, great stay!

Had a great time at this very well appointed house in a beautiful quiet cove! Location was perfect for our kids who love to swim by the dock. Covered dock for our boat with slide and jumping platform was loved by our kids that ranged in age from 6-18. Kitchen was well stocked, better than most places we’ve stayed prior. If it weren’t for a work commitment next year, we’d be back for 2025 Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully will be able to return in 2026!

80th Birthday celebration

Only complaint on the property would be the WIFI, several young people still had to work and they would have to drive into town to a coffee shop.

This remote area is difficult to get decent WiFi. With such a large group all connecting at the same time, it just can't keep up. We are signed up for Elon Musk's new StarLink internet and hope to have it soon. It sounds like a system that will solve the WiFi problems in many remote areas. Thanks for staying at Rock of Ages. Hope you come back to Norris Lake again sometime.

Rock of ages stay 8/2/25-8/9/25

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, had a stocked kitchen, and even had two kayaks at the dock for use. The boat dock was great for the boat with electricity, running water for cleaning, and deep water. Jon was the perfect host, with quick communication and was very helpful. The views of the lake were gorgeous from this home, and plenty of outside space to enjoy. The only thing that I would recommend would be better lighting for the outdoor paths in the evening, as they were very steep. We did trailer our boats and 4-wheelers, I would be mindful of this as the roads are very narrow, windy, and hilly as you are coming into the neighborhood/home. Overall, a great place and would stay there again!

Multi-family Thanksgiving

We had an incredible family reunion at this rental house! The spacious accommodations comfortably housed all six families, providing a perfect blend of privacy and shared spaces with hang out spaces on each floor. The beautiful surroundings and lake views added to the overall charm. The hot tub wasn’t in ideal shape but that didn’t detract from our visit. It was the ideal setting for creating lasting memories with loved ones. Highly recommend for large group gatherings!

another awesome stay at this house !!

We have been coming down to Norris Lake for about 20 years now and this is 1 of our favorite houses! The kitchen with double appliances is a must for our big families! The location in a very quiet cove is awesome! All the kids love the extra wide double decker dock ! There are 2 Marina's that are both within 5-10 minutes by boat . And the house manager -Jon Trimbach has always responded back to us within 5 minutes !! You won't fine a better house and location than this house!!

Great Location

This is our third year at Norris Lake and Rock of Ages, in our opinion, is the best location. The cove is beautiful with lots of privacy and very little boat traffic. There's a large dock with a huge upper deck. Getting to the dock from the house is a little tough once you're down the main stairs, the other set of stairs are very narrow and the gravel was difficult for some. The kitchen is well stocked (knives could use sharpening). The house was clean. We can't wait to come back!

Thanks, we agree! Location is so important to the best vacation experience on Norris Lake. Swimming and hanging out on the dock are so relaxing when the dock isn't being rocked around by boat traffic. The owner has plans to revise the steps and path to the dock this year in off season. Family vacation 19th year to Norris Lake

Great location on the lake! Felt like private cove! Grandkids loved the slide! Could use a safety gate though to keep the toddlers away when not in use. A few cooking items/replacements were suggested as needs for kitchen. Had air conditioning/severe wall noise in one downstairs bedroom not addressed while we were there. No cleats on the dock so be sure to bring enough ropes to tie your boats off to the posts.

Yes, this is a great location for the best swimming and boating on Norris Lake! Thanks for your feed back about the kitchen items--all have been added or replaced. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the noise that the air conditioners make. There are two units to maintain the cooling in the large home and they are working properly. The owner has chosen not to have cleats on the dock as they can be a tripping hazzard and prefers to tie off to the many posts available beside each slip. Thank you. Norris Lake Properties
