Richard, Thank you for your feedback on your stay at Happy Hour. Thank you for calling me on the slow drain in the Hall bath. Pate's Plumbing said that someone had flushed a few paper towels down and it was slowing the drain. I am happy we got that taken care of for you and appreciate the call. I'm sorry to hear you felt this way. You and I had communicated numerous time before and during your stay. I had taken the time to call you and answer all questions prior to your arrival. None of these were questioned with the exception of the ice maker. Let me address some of your issues ~ **The house photos are not 10 years old. We actually got all the furniture and artwork replaced last summer and everything from that was updated on the website. ** Starter packs- Yes, like most houses, we provide a starter pack of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. You received a VERY DETAILED email from me explaining that, as well as I gave suggestions on what all you should bring for the week (TP, paper towels, paper plates, shampoo, beach towels, etc) It was very laid out. **I apologize if some of the lights under the microwave were out. Our cleaning ladies do the best they can to check all of that stuff each week. You never alerted us they were out or she would've gladly come to the house and replaced them. ** You are correct in that most of our cabinet space is filled with cooking stuff, plates, bowls, silverware etc. We usually just put all of our snacks and such on the counters. We've never received a complaint about that. **Sheets - Most houses down there leave folded sheets on the end of the bed. And it was stated in bold letters in the email that you received that you would have to make the beds yourself upon arrival. We do that for two reasons: So renters know the sheets are clean and for time purposes. We have to flip the large house in 5 hours and having to make 17 beds would take two hours of that time. ** I apologized to you about the ice maker when you reached out to me about it and gave you suggestions as to what marina to grab ice from. (and we have two fridges that contain ice as well) I'm sorry about this inconvenience. ** Lastly, yes we charge a cleaning fee. And the TN state taxes and VRBO fees are out of our control. VRBO controls those VRBO fees ~ we as homeowners have nothing to do with that. I hope you and your family were still able to enjoy the week and time together and made some wonderful memories!
