This property is exactly as advertised and is in such an amazing location! We walked into uptown St. Joe and to the beach every day during our stay.Chris and Dave are great to rent from. We had a user-error issue with the dishwasher and they quickly and graciously solved the problem. Very kind people. We would definitely stay here again. The beach chairs and wagon provided on site were the icing on the cake.

The Little Cottage is our favorite place to stay on Lake Michigan. It’s cozy, comfortable, plenty of space for our 4 kids (3 teenagers!) and such a great location for walking downtown and to the beach. Chris and Dave are wonderful hosts and couldn’t be any kinder or more responsive. Thank you for another lovely stay in St Joe!

This is our 4th year at this cottage and we will absolutely consider again for next year. Very minor hiccups....the main BR ceiling fan cannot be turned off (only by using the wall switch) or the speed adjusted using the pull cords. So we weren't able to use that as the high speed was pretty breezy. The main floor BR light on the left of the mirror went out during our stay so just needs replacing. Otherwise things were very smooth. We used the wagon every day to go to the beach. The new dishwasher ran perfectly and the new faucet in the main bathroom was also appreciated. Denise

My family just returned from a fabulous week in St Joseph. What made the trip so wonderful was our accommodations and the location. We rarely used the car and could easily walk the few blocks to town and the beach. This was critical as we were towing a 3 year old and 5 year old. Not once did they complain about walking. The upstairs apartment was perfect for the children and their parents. I (grandma) was happy downstairs and so was my other daughter who stopped by for a couple nights. The kids were enchanted with the large number of children books and I especially appreciated the large dining room table that seated 8. The kitchen was well stocked and the super large capacity washer was great for all our beach towels. You won’t be disappointed.

This was our 3rd time staying here, and we just love it. Being able to walk to almost all of our favorite places is perfect for us, and the hosts are very helpful and easy to work with.

Wonderful week

Had a great time. Good location to get to town and beach. Plenty of room for everyone. Grand daughters loved having their “own” kitchen upstairs.

Great cottage and location

This cottage was delightful. Close to downtown and easy to reach the beach without driving. Plenty of room for all of us. Well stocked w/kitchen items as well.

Close to St. Joe

We loved how close it was to downtown St. Joseph and how we could walk there from the property. There was plenty of space in the rental which was also nice.

Annual family gathering

We have stayed at this property annually well over 10 years. Great location, easy walking to activities. We plan to return the summer of 2022.

We have stayed in this cottage each summer for many years. Location is ideal for walking distance to downtown and other things. Family suggests a few updates at the cottage. Such as newer sofas , electrical outlets a few need repaired. We would highly recommend this cottage.

The 4th

The house was charming & perfect for our extended family. Location was ideal - we could walk everywhere. We cooked most of our meals-the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. It was a great vacation!
