The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region. The Lisbon coast has many beautiful beaches and Unesco heritage places to visit, which is perfect for holiday makers seeking a relaxing holiday to escape from tourists-crowded Algarve yet enjoy some culture and some beautiful historic ancient towns a short drive away. Sintra - 45 min from the villa. Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on account of its 19th century Romantic architecture. Sintra has become a major tourist attraction, with many day-trippers visiting from nearby Lisbon. Attractions include the fabulous Pena Palace (19th c.) and the Castelo dos Mouros (reconstructed 19th c.) with a breath-taking view of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, and the summer residence of the kings of Portugal Palácio Nacional de Sintra (largely 15th/16th c.), in the town itself. The Sintra Mountain Range, one of the largest parks in the Lisbon area, (Serra de Sintra) is also a major tourist attraction. Obidos - 1hr from the villa.

Fantastic

Great villa and fantastic pool. Ericeira is really nice city with great surf opportunities. But there are also other nice beaches and view points.

Maison avec bcp de potentiel. 1 procédure d'arrivée à revoir. Les extérieurs n'étaient pas propres et invasion de fourmis dans la maison. Litterie à changer. Dommage car la maison est très bien située pour découvrir la region

Great place for a family!

We stayed as a big family group of four children and five adults and it was perfect for our needs. There is a lot of great stuff for children including a football table, a pool table and lots of toys. The games room was really great for the kids. There are lots of nice balconies to sit on which catch the Sun at different times of the day too. Ericeira is quite windy so it is worth bringing layers as it does get quite cold. We didn’t hire a car and found it very easy to get Ubers to get around which was great. The village of Ribamar is also lovely and it’s particular worth going to Bar Zhino and looking at the garden next door, where a man has made a clockwork model Village and maintained it for 40 years! It was really quite something! Thank you Wayne and Debs for a lovely stay!

What a great choice

We had a great time and the home, facilities and location was perfect. The owners were very responsive and their representative, Fernando was a perfect contact and helpful in every way, although we needed little assistance during our stay. Our family who joined us from the USA (we are Australians) loved the location, the pool and BBQ. Can thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely villa for a larger family group, you will not be didappointed

Nice place

Spacious and well equipped villa. Pool, pool table and dvd collection were well used. A car would be beneficial but taxi service eg BOLT, FREENOW are available. Small local shops walkable, adequate for daily needs. Enjoyed by our extended family of 9.

Happy time

When we arrived Fernando met us, showed around property. Being a party of 9 we decided not to hire cars, this did not matter because Fernando or his son , supermarket runs; waiting while we shopped and trip to Lisbon, with lots of useful advice. Our 5 grandsons really enjoyed the pool, swimming at all times of the day . had a few bar-b's. Boys enjoyed playing pool and table football. HAPPY TIME.

Checking in was super easy Fernando might us at the home. Great home we where a group of 10 everyone enjoyed their stay. Family friendly with a lot to do pool games and movies.

The spacious villa made everything so comfortable.

We were 6 adults and two children staying at Deb and Waynes beautiful Villa. The location is perfect for what we wanted but a car is a must. Its situated slightly outside Ericeira. The neighborhood is very peaceful and just a short walk away you'll find a restaurant and a bakery. The kitchen has what you need. The appliances worked as they should. Fernando, the host, is very nice and was very helpful. From the day we booked until we left everything ran very smoothly. Thank you for the professional service! We highly recommed the villa, we didn't really want to leave! Thank you Deb and Wayne!

Pictures don’t do it justice

This property is perfect in every way. We stayed as a family of 8 and a baby. The place is big enough so you aren’t under each others feet, but at the same time, feels homely too! Great location outside the main town. Fernando is a true gentleman, very polite and always willing to help. Thank you so much, family who stayed elsewhere came by and we have passed details onto them too! Thank you again!

Just wonderful and relaxing 😊

The villa was very clean and so well equipped. All eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fernando was an absolute god send. He was always able to help with lifts, advise and was very friendly - an asset. The area was lovely and quiet (which is what we all wanted) and peaceful. Easy to venture into Lisbon and Ericeira - both beautiful. Will definitely be recommending this villa.

Very nice and spacious villa in a quiet neighbourhood

We spent fantastic 11 days in september 2017 with 8 friends in this great accomodation! The kitchen is huge and well equipped and the rest of the house is very clean but cosy. With five bedrooms, four bathrooms and the Games room in the cellar, everybody had more than enough space to enjoy their vacation! The pool is clean and lovely in the afternoon sun but because of the dropping temperatures at night the water was too cold to spend much time in it. We loved that the next beach for surfing is only a 5 minute car ride away and the supermarkets in Ericeira only ten minutes. It was a perfect holiday and we would always come back without hesitation!

It was at nice,clean and good house with all the facilities needed. And Fernando was always avalible to be contacted. The area was interresting to visit, and we loved the small villages Ribamar and Ericeira. We will come back someday to this house and area.

Perfect family holiday

I recently stayed at this villa with my partner and family (there were 7 of us in total), and we all had a lovely, relaxed stay. The villa was spacious and modern, whilst also feeling homely (definitely a home away from home!). There was plenty within the villa to keep us all entertained- the pool (cool but refreshing in the summer heat!), the games room with a pool table, table football and xbox with a range of games, a variety of books, toys for little ones, board games, and satellite TV. The villa was clean and contained everything we needed during our stay, which allowed us to have a relaxed and enjoyable break. The villa itself is situated near Ericeira, which is a short drive away, and has a range of little shops (including a supermarket) and a sandy beach (which is renowned for being good for surfers). Further afield, there was plenty to explore- including Sintra (which has a beautiful park, and is a world heritage site), Mafra, and Lisbon itself (I highly recommend checking out the Oceanarium and Lisbon Zoo, particularly if you're travelling with kids). I'd highly recommed the villa to those looking for a relaxed holiday in the sun.

Ett mycket bra semesterboende

Villan ligger i ett lugnt område. Huset har rymliga rum som var välstädat som allt annat i huset. Om rådet runt poolen var välskött med många solstolar. Husvärden Fernando var mycket hjälpsam. Allt som allt ett mycket trevligt semesterboende. P-O Magnusson Varberg Sweden

going again for longer

had a really nice time stopping here with 6 mates, was just relaxed and chilled, the surrounding area is peaceful and quiet and not to far from the town and major supermarkets and one of the beaches is only a 15 minute walk away, the villa itself is clean and comfortable and up to a high standard, it offers everything and more, 10/10 it was perfect for a group of 21-22 year olds who just wanted a relaxing holiday not a partying one and we'd all love to visit again!

Another great holiday! Third visit to the villa and would still recommend it to anyone. Very relaxing by the pool and great beaches nearby. Love the town of Ericeira and Obidos is well worth a visit. Hope to go again in the near future!!!!

VILLA BREAK

Had a great time, the villa is set in a quiet cul-de-sac and is only a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach and bar, 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. The local town which offers plenty of bars,restaurants and beaches is 15 minutes drive but is on a local bus route. The villa is to a high standard, clean and comfortable, offering everything and a bit more. Best family holiday we've had kids loved the games room and pool kept tem bust for hours, highly recommend if you want a sit back and relax holiday.

We decided to buy a villa in Ericeria as the area retains all the charm of Portugal is very relaxed and ideally located with lots to see and do in the area or if just relaxing at the pool side or at one of a number of local beaches is your thing, you will not be disappointed!

With Lisbon airport only 30-40 minutes away, the airport transfer is quick, especially useful if you have a family to care for.

The local area offers really good value when it comes to shopping and eating out, as it is yet to become as 'commercial' as the likes of the Algarve.

Local people are also very friendly and helpful. Our representatives also live close by so are on hand to help or offer advice if needed.

We feel our villa offers families and large groups all the facilities needed to have a great stay, whilst also providing and benefiting from many home comforts.

The villa boasts a larger than normal private swimming pool, Cable TV (some UK and international channels), free high speed WiFi, full size slate bed pool table and pub table football, darts board, not to mention xbox, games etc.

The villa is spacious and can easily provide accommodation for a large family or number of families and given the unique layout, five bedrooms and four bathrooms and provides lots of internal and external personal space in which to relax.
