One of the best locations in sunny Poipu Beach Kauai, Nihi Kai Villas Resort is just steps away from the Poipu shoreline and a little over 300 yards to world-famous body surfing Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach Park. The plantation style architecture at this small island oasis by the sea is surrounded by swaying palms, tropical flowers, fruit trees, orchids, and mature plumeria trees accented by well manicured lawns.

PARRISH PROFESSIONAL CLEAN – Built Upon the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) “Safe Home” cleaning program, we further expanded our existing high standard of housekeeping at our properties where hospital-grade cleaning products and protocols were already in use. Our goal by layering on the recommended new steps is to provide our guests assurance and peace of mind that when they stay at any Parrish Kauai property that every effort was made to ensure a high level of cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection.

Great Poipu location with ocean view and steps from the water . It was a quaint condo simple enough but had everything we needed to enjoy the island. Clean, easy, exactly as it was pictured. No AC as advertised but never needed it in the evening. Enjoy the trade winds! Would book again and recommend for family or group who’s looking for nice place to stay and a quality price. Enjoy the island during the day, sleep comfortably in the condo at night. Our family booked knowing we weren’t spending our days indoors. We were gone before noon and it fit our style perfectly. My suggestion is find a hub to stay and enjoy what the island offers you, stay there , find a new beach one day, visit the other towns, eat the local spots, and venture back to relax in evening. Coffee on the deck with ocean crashing and perfect sunset views from the property was a great bonus to the condo .

Great place to stay and close to beach

The property was as described and so close to the beach, our kids had a blast at the pool and the beach. Would definitely recommend to any one planning on staying here

grounds were beautiful, pool was great. The unit we rented was not great. Listing said there was a ground floor entrance, well kinda sorta. If you wanted to leave your door unlocked all day, then yes there was a ground floor entrance. If not you had to climb a flight of stairs(about 20) to get in and then go down a flight of stairs (about 20)to get to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Definitely not designed for the elderly or mobility challenged (which I am both). Unit was also very dated with no upgrades since it was built. Disappointing for what we spent.

South shore stay

Clean, spacious apartment. You can walk to the beach, and you can watch the sunset from the pool area. I would stay again!

Fantastic location for the family!

Wonderful location and property with Hawaiian character! Spacious for 4 adults and an infant. Secluded enough to feel like you can get away from the busyness of Poipu Beach. Stellar walking location to three (3) different beaches.

Perfect place

Clean and plenty of space. Just the fan lamp in the south bedroom which get on alone during the night, like if a ghost was there.

Good Price and very clean

Had a good stay. Near beaches and town. Need some maintenance e.g. door knobs and wall plugs. You get what you pay for. It worked for us!

Great location and very quiet

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Although a small view of the ocean (differs from pictures online) - we felt that the closeness to the beach made up for it. The kitchen is a little worn but we were comfortable in the rest of the condo. Would suggest changing from the carpet - would make the place feel cleaner.

Nice place

Nice condominium rental. Two bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and kitchen + common area upstairs. Kitchen stocked with adequate dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Fans in each room. Plenty of comfortable seating indoor and outdoor. Within walking distance of the coastline. Eveything we needed to enjoy our stay in Kauai!

The place does not have AC. Had to book direct with the property for some reason. They state over the phone that the Expedia booking isn’t valid. Booking direct through them and running CC was a nightmare. Have stayed there in a different time that was a great time and experience. This time and unit was a bust.

Family trip

We had a great stay at the property. It was hot, so the no air conditioning was a but tough, but we did know about that aheas if time, so it is what it is. The inside is quite a bit dated, with very faded, slightly weird textured carpet, but was very clean despite this. Having a washer and dryer was very convenient. So was having a door from one of the on-suite bathrooms that lead to the hallway so our sister who was staying on the couch bed uostairs could access the bathroom without entering our room in the night.

Couldn’t ask for more

I loved every part of this experience from booking to check out. Communication was stellar. Our condo was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was fully stocked. The location and view were ideal. We loved walking over to Poipu beach every morning and evening. The complex is nicely landscaped and maintained. We also used the pool several times. The view of the ocean from the pool was very nice. We would definitely want to stay here next time we come. Probably the best short term rental experience we’ve had on the island and we come at least two times a year.

It was clean, but definitely a very dated property. Also no A/C in the unit, several others had it though. Very steep staircase up to the front door and again inside straight down to the bedroom/ bathrooms which were downstairs. I’d rate it very average. Close to Poipu Beach by foot.🌴🌴
