We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very welcoming and comfortable. My daughter especially enjoyed the closet full of toys. Only a short drive to some beautiful beaches with great shark teeth hunting. We would definitely stay there again!

A return visit to this lovely villa that comes supplied with everything.Loving the addition of the Flora da chairs since our previous visit.Only minor negative was the punctures in the bike tyres - we went out on three different bikes all of which had punctures, but could still use another two, although not ideal size wise. However fully understand this is not something easy to manage as punctures can happen any when.Will hopefully return again as love the location and setting, and great to see the canal filled up having gone later in the year.

The property was exactly as described in the write up and photos. Communication with Mike before and throughout our stay was excellent, making the entire experience seamless.The house was spotless, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the pool and appreciated all the thoughtful extras, including the pool table, golf clubs, and bicycles.The location is fantastic, with easy access to beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, and great shopping. We truly had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Heron's Rest to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway!

Lovely villa, very clean & well equipped, we loved the pool & used the provided bikes to get around the local area. Didn't want to come home.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool was lovely, the neighborhood quiet and the house comfortable. Mike was easy to communicate with. Definitely would stay again!

Wonderful Home and Stay!

We loved our stay at this home! We had everything we needed for a very comfortable vacation! The pool was perfect, the location ideal, the house was very clean and the host was wonderful! Highly recommend this home...we will definitely be coming back!

Calm and quiet place

We had a great time in the house, nice calm area in Rotonda, nice to have a pool and a short car ride to enjoy the beach at Boca Grande.The house had all that you need, from beach towels to kitchen utilities.

Amazing Week

The house was exactly as described. My husband loved fishing on the dock while I sat by the pool in the evenings. Close to the amazing beaches. We hope to rent again next year. Thank you for a great rental.

I can only say- wonderful vacation time at this villa! Excellent experience, everything in the house was very comfortable and more than you can imagine. They have everything you need to feel relaxed and not worry about small things. Best wishes and thanks again!

Great place to stay!

A wonderful, well-kept home in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife to see in and around the canal. The fenced-in yard allowed us to watch the alligator in the canal without wondering if he would come ashore or not. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook. Close to Boca Grande beach, where a manatee swam right past us! The pool was good to relax in. Would definitely stay here again!

Rotunda escape

Our stay was lovely. The house was very comfortable and had everything we could need. Enjoyed the heated pool, fishing and wildlife from the dock in the back yard. The house was very clean and well stocked. The only complaint for me was the twin bed mattresses were rather firm. Thankyou for a lovely stay. Your home was comfortable and homey and we enjoyed it very much.

MAY 2023

The place is very nice. We made food in the kitchen. We swam little bit in the swimming pool but we enjoyed the beach and jet ski in Englewood. The pool is somewhat clean. I had to remove bugs. We played the pool game. This place is wonderful place to stay.

2024 Family Vacation

Me and my husband bring our kids to this area each year to visit family. We love the area and the house was very nice. Had everything we needed for the week, which made it so easy to pack knowing we didn't need a lot of stuff. It was a little to warm to use the pool table in the garage do us but maybe a different time of year. The Management Company was very responsive when we had a question. Overall made nice memories and had a great time!

A lovely clean home in a quiet neighborhood

The home was very spacious and well maintained. We live in the same state so we were able to drive there with extra supplies just in case. Well, we did not need anything. The home was well stocked with dishes and linens. The WiFi and cable worked really well. The pool was spotless and relaxing. The only drawback was that the neighborhood is quite a distance from the water/beach and shopping. There is a Publix nearby and a handful of restaurants. It was fine for us this time because the intent of the trip was to relax. Great area if you bike or like to walk. Plenty of room for a family. The Master bedroom is on a different side of the house, away from the other bedrooms. Thank you Michael for your hospitality and the great condition of your home.

Nice little getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here! The pool was GREAT, the dock and views were amazing, we LOVED looking for alligators every day, the beds were super comfy (I slept better than I do in my own bed!). I chose this place for our family because it showed and stated it had bikes, a pool table, a foosball table, beach stuff galore (including 3 boogie boards). Out of 6 adult bikes, only one was rideable because the tires would not stay inflated, the pool table was uneven and so was the garage floor so playing a game of pool was nearly impossible, same for foosball, only one of the three boogie boards weren’t broke. There was a terrible smell in the garage the whole time as if an animal or something had died in there; we aired it out by opening the garage door almost daily.though so it was tolerable. The kids were still able to utilize the pool table, and we managed with one of the broken boogie boards. We were really looking forward to taking bike rides around the neighborhood every morning but we took a couple walks instead. The property had ample space for us and loved the master bedroom/bathroom! I also chose Rotonda area because I knew we were going to venture to other surrounding areas, making it the middle point. It worked great for us and all in all had a wonderful time! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Thank you for your comments. I did ask you to contact our local manager about the smell you mentioned to me during your stay. They are there to help with such things that may happen in a home. You should not have to put up with that. Always call them, it is what they are there for. As for the bikes, we make renters aware these are there for your use free of charge, we don't charge you any extra. We service them when we visit, but we cannot maintain them from a distance. We asks guests to repair punctures and such. I find it hard to think that 5 bikes had issues with air as all the tubes have sealant. We do ask you in our info pack, to mention any such concerns to us direct (rather than wait till a review) That way we can se how to address them. We can't do anything if we are not aware. Boogie boards are not ours they would have been left there by a guest who did not want to take home. Glad overall you had a good time, it is very rare for us to get negative comments such as these, as we strive to have everything just right for for guests, as other reviews will tell. Thank you

Our new home away from home!

We have found our new home away from home!! This home is convenient to everything you could possibly need while here. Our favorite beaches and restaurants were only minutes away, which makes any holiday that much more relaxed. I was determined to see a dinosaur this trip, and right when we went over the first bit of water in the neighborhood I look over, squeal, almost making my boyfriend wreck because I spotted a.... DINOSAUR!!!! And there were also some in the waterway behind the home, I named them all El Champo! The weather wasn't in our favor the first couple of days which is normal for FL summers, which was another reason I fell in love with this home because of all it offers in terms of entertainment for the kids and us adults. We were never bored. The absolutely ONLY downfall to the home isn't anything about the home but is something all of FL has to deal with, which is that trash bins have to stay in the garages, but the family before us seemed to have eaten a fair amount of fish and forgot to set the bins out that morning for pickup. So in the afternoons the smell could be overwheling when going into the garage, but like I said, that's all of FL especially in the blistering summers. On our way home the kids were already planning our trip back next summer, which was interesting due to the fact that my prissy daughter is determined to wrangle a dinosaur and bring home with us lolol!! I can't thank the owners enough for letting us stay in their lovely piece of paradise!

The villa was perfect for our family of 4. This is the 5th time we’ve stayed in Rotonda - we love it there. The villa is a great size & very well equipped. We made use of the many bikes, fishing gear & golf clubs - all very useful.Mike was very responsive & so was the maintenance company.We’d happily stay here again.

Great place

The house was very clean and roomy for a family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals. The pool was fantastic. About a 10 to 15 minute drive great beaches. Overall would give the location a 5 star review.

Very Welcoming

We really did enjoy the property. There were a few lights burned out and the fridge wasn't staying cool enough, when we contacted the property manager it was after 9pm but they responded within an hour and came out the next day to fix it. Our only suggestion to the owners would be to get new flooring, the vinal flooring throughout the house was peeling up along all the edges. It was a lovely property, very peaceful and clean.
