🌞 Multiple Family Friendly, Modern Lake House On Deep-Water Cove, 2 Kayaks 🌞
Immaculate modern lake house on deep-water cove just minutes by boat to Jimmy’s Creek and Pea Hill Creek. Beautiful safe cove with main lake views can be seen from the living and dining areas, as well as enjoyed while relaxing on the screened porch. Enjoy night-time fun around the new fire-pit!
The main floor has an open concept with seating for 4 at the granite topped island as well as a separate dining, opening to the living area. Hardwood floors, stainless appliances and granite counters create this modern home away from home, filled with amenities. The main floor master bedroom has a king size bed and a walk in closet. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and separate shower.
Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms, one with bunk beds and a Full (New 2019) bed and the other with a queen size bed and a lake view. These rooms share a large full bath & tub/shower with plenty of storage.
The lower level has a private room with a queen size bed, a furnished game room and an additional full size futon. The lower level also has a full bath. The game room is equipped with a flat screen TV a game cube and ping pong table. There is a walk out to a covered patio for outdoor dining, just steps to the lake. The Weber gas is also available for your cookouts. The kids will be entertained with a ping pong table, TV and Wii. Like the kitchen, all baths are upgraded with granite counters and new cabinets creating a modern feel.
The large dock has 8 feet of water depth, and offers two areas for boat tie-up for your use. Water depth is 3 feet at the steps near the shore to 8 feet at the outer edge of the dock. The calm water cove allows for safe swimming, floating, kayaking and paddle-boarding for worry free water play.
The landscaped back yard is perfect for badminton or Frisbee. The Lantana bushes attract butterflies and hummingbirds in the summer and at night chase the fireflies in the yard with the little ones.
Just a few miles to the public boat launch, there is ample space for multiple vehicles and your boat trailer on our property. Washburn's Mariana is also nearby for your boating needs (and a great morning biscuit!)

- (2) Kayaks for your enjoyment. These are for kids/adults up to 225 lbs, and are the "sit on top" type, so they are easy to use. Please be sure to bring your life preserver if you use them.
- We now have a fire pit! Please keep the hose handy, and make sure it's out before you go in for the evening. (You can get firewood/starter logs at Food Lion).
2019 Update: some great improvements this year!
- Front-porch has been updated with composite decking and new aluminum railing.
- Stainless steel cable railing on the screen porch
- Fresh paint in several rooms, and all carpets and furniture has been professional deep-cleaned.
- BIG NEWS: Our neighbor took down many trees on his lot, which has given us an unbelievable unobstructed view of the main lake!
2018 Update: All decking has been updated and professionally stained by Deck Renew. Larger TV in Den (40"), and wall-mounted it for better viewing. New aluminum railing has been installed. New landscaping and lighting.
2017 Update:
- we added an underwater Fish Light!! After dark, enjoy the soft green glow at the end of the dock and marvel at the fish that it attracts.

- New Internet Router and high-speed Time Warner service
- New DVD player in Den
- New 32" TV in playroom (connected to Wii, Netflix, Hulu)
- Added HBO and Showtime as ROKU channels, in addition to Netflix and HULU!!

Hi Ronnie and I fell in love with Lake Gaston at first glance. After 20 years in Raleigh and spending time at the ocean, we were introduced to Lake Gaston, just 90 minutes from our home. It was an awakening back to our childhoods where lakes were the family vacation destination. We spent every weekend here at the Lake, bringing friends for fun and fellowship. Our girls learned to ski, wakeboard and tube, of course! They earned their boaters licenses before their drivers license and jet skied through the coves experiencing adventure and fun. Family reunions with our children, father, siblings, nieces and nephews are wonderful memories to reflect on and look forward to again! Our most recent and best memory was in May our daughters now fiancé popped the question on the dock and "she said yes"! Our home is filled with love and the hope of a relaxing (albeit sometimes very active) get away from work and day to day responsibilities. A place where you can reunite, relax and reflect. Although the house was built in 2002, it was fully updated in 2013. Now when you open the front door you are met with completely modern and updated wood flooring, cabinetry, granite surfaces and hardware. It is designed to be a home away from home with all the comforts.

As a working mom, vacations take a lot of planning and expense. Hotels and rentals can be stressful and sometimes disappoint when the description doesn't live up to the reality. Our place is meant to impress and is designed and furnished to make you feel at home immediately. The opening word on our description is Immaculate. Followed by updated. You will relax at first glance knowing you have a beautiful, clean and safe haven allowing you to start you vacation now!
For the family fun, we are only 3 miles from the public launch and are on a private cove with 8 homes. At the dock stairs you can walk out into the lake and so it is safe for playing in the shallow areas, then at the end of the dock it is deep enough for cannonballs and jumping. The water is calm in the cove and safe to swim and float.
We are nestled in Four Seasons Neighborhood where you can enjoy morning walks. Only a short drive to a grocery, pharmacy and restaurants. During the summer a farmers market opens for fresh produce as well as mini golf for the kids.
