Beautiful 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home on a quiet cove on Lake Gaston

Our home has 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It sits on a quiet cove on Lake Gaston. The main floor master has a king size sleep number bed and full bath with tub and shower. There are three bedrooms on the second floor with queen beds and 2 full baths with tubs. The 5th bedroom is on the 3rd floor where we have a queen futon with a single bunk overhead and a twin size day bed with a twin trundle. We have an open living/dining/kitchen area which leads to the sun room all of which have great lake views. A large gas grill is available for your use. We have an air conditioned game room with a pub style ping pong and shuffleboard table. We have a corn hole set for your enjoyment and a fire pit for those cool evenings. We have 3 kayaks and 1 canoe with paddles and PFDs for your use. We have several rafts for all ages. Spectrum high speed internet and YouTube TV are available. We have 4 TVs in the home. A starter supply of paper products is provided. We have a washer and dryer and laundry products are included in your rental. We also provide linens at no extra charge. The beds will be freshly made upon your arrival. The kitchen is well stocked and there is an extra refrigerator for your use in the game room.

Lake Gaston is one of the premiere fishing lakes in North Carolina and Virginia. Bass, stripers, walleye and catfish make this one of the top fishing destinations in the eastern US. It also provides many coves and backwaters for canoe, kayak and small craft anglers.

Good family getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay very much, the host were excellent and the house is well equipped. The indoors was very clean but the deck and outdoors furniture were not as clean as we would have liked. You cannot swim off the dock, but we managed to kayak out and swim.

Great location, quiet neighborhood

Quiet and relaxing vacation, enjoyed by kids and adults alike! Our group of 3 families had enough space to spread out comfortably. The game garage was a lot of fun and the sun room is a great spot to hang out!

Lake rental June 30 through July 7

Lake rental June 30 through July 7. We found the property to be clean and well stocked with supplies. Having the boat ramp nearby was another plus. Our families thoroughly enjoyed our time together at your lake house.

Wonderful place to stay!

We loved our stay! The house had plenty of room for our three families including three kids. The house had everything we needed and so many extras to make our stay so fun and special! We loved taking the kayaks and canoes out and enjoyed the games in the garage. We took the kids to the public beach where the water is shallow and they had so much fun! We would recommend this house without hesitation!

Relaxing getaway

The house was clean and very well equipped from kitchen items to toiletries and a welcoming basket of goodies. We enjoyed the 2 living room spaces. The outdoor deck accommodated 6 adults easily which was great because that's where we spent a lot of time. It was easy to communicate with the hosts.

Excellent lake house

We had a wonderful 4 days.... having kayaks, a conoe, and rafrs available was awer...took an early morning ride every day! The house was clean, well stocked, and spacious. The deck and deck furniture is starting to show some wear and age but we were still able to enjoy it!

Great property!

This house was cozy and private. The only “issue” was that our pontoon is large and docking was difficult with the other pontoon already there. The owners were quick to answer questions and accommodating. We will definitely use this property again!

Wonderful time in Lake Gaston

We can't say enough great things about our trip to Lake Gaston and our stay at this home. Our two families had plenty of room to rest and also fellowship together. The kitchen was well stocked, and the owners even had snacks and smores for us upon arrival. It was easy to navigate in and out of the cove on our jet skis or just floating around in floats (we brought floats and the home had additional for us to use). The deck is so close to the dock and the backyard was perfect for yard games. Thank you again for allowing us to share your home for our trip!

Lovely Place

What a wonderful view of the lake. The house was well kept and very comfortable. They enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks and there was plenty of life preservers to use. The blue binder had good information on what to do. Thank you for a lovely time.

Spacious house on beautiful Lake

This three story home had plenty of space for our family to work and relax from. The lake is beautiful and was very quiet this time of year (October). The kayaks and canoes were perfect to be able to paddle out from the little cove where the house is located into a wider part of the lake. The game room with ping-pong table and shuffleboard table was such a bonus to have, especially for rainy days.

Fishing, floating and relaxing

We booked this trip on a quick whim. Denise and Gary were great. Both families had a great time. Our boys could fish, kayak or canoe whenever they wanted. We could float or sit on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet. House was perfect for 2 families of 4. We would definitely book the house again.

Nice quiet place to gather for fishing and such

Overall very good rental with plenty of room for a group of guys in the area to fish One piece to note, all but one bedrooms are upstairs (stairs are very steep) so if you have older guests, keep that in mind. Would be nice if they put a hand rail on the front steps, my elderly dad struggled to get up the stairs.

Beautiful lake home

This is a beautiful lake house which accommodated our family wonderfully for Christmas vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans & utensils for all of our meals and even had a few extra things that we forgot! The adults and kids alike enjoyed the game room, the canoes and the kayaks. The great room was large enough for our gatherings. The owners went above and beyond to answer questions and make sure all our needs were met. We would love to stay there again!

Perfect for large family!!!

Every aspect of this home is perfect for a large family vacation. Boat dock was wonderful with floating dock very easy to kayak and paddle board. Such a well stocked home for cooking and having two refrigerators and game room was wonderful. Owners respond flawlessly and are so attentive. This is our second stay here and will not be our last. Love this home and the quiet cove...feels like home. ❤️

Great family vacay

The property/ home was very well described in the listing. The house was clean and organized and well stocked with basics. We travel with two kiddos (5&7), parents and grandparents, and the house was very accommodating for all the family. I love love that the dining table was able to sit all 9 of us. Always something I look for in a house. The owners were also very easy to work with and communicate with! A great experience all around. Another successful vacation.

We are the Armstrong family. We moved to the south from the midwest in 1976. Since then, we have had a home near the water. Our home is new to the rental market. It sits on a quiet cove of Lake Gaston. We are happy to share our home with you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay a great one.

Our home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. There is a public boat ramp adjacent to our neighborhood. Our cove is on Lee Creek which leads into Lake Gaston. We have less boat traffic than those homes on the main lake. It is a perfect location for playing in the water or using the provided canoe and kayaks.
