Property is beautiful. Kitchen is very well stocked. Although if you plan on cooking eggs for breakfast you might want to bring your favorite skillet. Beds were very comfortable. Love the steam shower in the primary bedroom. Overall excellent property and would be happy to return.

Lots of space with several separate spaces to get away from the group if needed. Quiet setting close to Taos and the Ski Valley.

The Pet Friendly representation is a bit misleading. It should state "Dog Friendly". We had already indicated pets coming with us to the home when we made reservations and then were notified "No Cats!" Our son and his wife had to get a cat sitter after they had planned to bring their two kittens with them. Aside from that all was wonderful and the location and views were worth the stay. We had a great time, especially with the great hot tub and the pool table room. Our host was attentive and quick to respond. The new blinds and the unusual door handles/lock mechanisms challenged the older members of our party.

Peaceful, beautiful Mountain View House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at Mountain View House, and that alone says just how much we love this beautiful Taos home. It has truly become one of our favorite places to stay whenever we visit New Mexico.The house is wonderful—comfortable, welcoming, and filled with all the amenities that make it feel like a home away from home. But the setting is what makes it truly unforgettable. The views across the mesa toward the mountains are absolutely incredible. There is something so peaceful about sitting outside, taking in that wide-open New Mexico landscape and watching the light change across the mountains.And, of course, Mountain View House gets an enthusiastic five paws from Tink & Annie! They absolutely love staying here, especially the gorgeous backyard with its beautiful green grass. Having such a lovely outdoor space for our two little pups makes our stays even more enjoyable.After three visits, Mountain View House continues to be a special part of our time in Taos. It’s peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, and a place we’re always a little sad to leave. We already look forward to returning again!

The house was very comfortable with nice furniture, beds and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful pueblo style home in a great location just 10 minutes north of Taos. If you plan to ski at Taos Ski Valley, you are perfectly positioned for the easy drive there. You are also just up the road from Medley, which was our favorite fine dining restaurant in Taos. I've always loved pueblo style homes, so I could not have been happier just relaxing here and enjoying the spectacular views of the mountains and high desert plain. Checking in and out was a breeze. If I ever return to Taos, I would book this home in a heartbeat again.

We had a great stay. It was out of town but felt perfectWe walked every morning no worries with traffic. The house was very comfortable. Had everything you need to cook/BBQ. Best Thanksgiving!! Thank you

Wonderful house!

This was the second time we have stayed at this house, and we hope to stay here again! We had a wonderful time with our family of 9. Plenty of room for everybody!

Wonderful property in an excellent location. The pool table was such a hit, boys loved playing after a long day of skiing. Would definitely stay again.

Great place for a group

It was a beautiful house with great views. We had plenty of space for our group. It was a quick drive up to the ski valley and the hot tub was a perfect way to end a great day of skiing.

After Christmas Ski Trip

We loved this property! Everything was very well maintained and well stocked. The layout is perfect for a family with teen/young adult children. We loved the pool table, steam shower and hot tub.

Taos Stay

Our family consisting of 6 adults and two children had a wonderful time at this home. The home was as described with plenty of room for all of us. The neighborhood was quiet and serene and not too far from town. We will definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous property

So much space! Every bedroom except one has its own bathroom (one has a steam shower!). The billiards room with a fireplace was a huge hit and the kitchen was to die for. Nicely furnished and plenty of places to spread out and not be in each other’s way. Beds were comfy. Super quiet location

Perfect for our family

This home was perfect for our family Christmas trip to Taos. We are 4 couples and one 18-month old. The deciding factor was the dining table for eight and the hot tub and billiards room were a plus. The home was very well supplied w kitchen tools and basics. Great floor plan and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Home for a Group

This home was perfect for a friends ski trip to Toas. We live in Denver and have stayed at our fair share of mountain houses and this one had really unique, hand crafted design elements that we loved. The home was also perfect for entertaining, big dinners, watching football and playing games. All of the beds were comfortable as well. I would highly recommend staying here!
