The property has 2 bedrooms in the downstairs unit and 2 bedrooms in the upstairs unit. It has only street parking but there are places to park in the church a block away. It is very close to the plaza for meals and shopping. The street was quiet with friendly neighbors. There is a gas fireplace in both units. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great place for friends to stay and enjoy the Big Barn Dance. Our third year here and it won't be the last. I recommend for any group or family. Easy walk to the Taos Plaza and many restaurants. We really appreciate both Gary and Cherry's efforts starting with the reservations process and helping with questions during our stay. Very professional.

Property was very clean and excellent location. Private courtyard and hot tub were lovely. If you are renting all 4 bedrooms, know that 2 of the bedrooms are in an upper unit with separate entrance and are not quite as nice as the lower unit. The lower unit was very nice and spacious. Mattresses were ok, could use a refresh.

The house was comfortable, with everything we needed, and in such a great location for walking to all the wonderful places in Taos. We also really enjoyed the hot tub!

Great first-time trip to Taos

Great place and great location

This is our 2nd time staying here. We love the location, the hot tub, and the up/down units work just fine for larger groups. Great host.

Very nice property, comfortable rooms and clean. Had a few minor housekeeping issues but the property manager was responsive. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, within walking distance of the plaza. With the upper and lower units together there is plenty of space for a large group. The enclosed patio is nice, very private, and the hot tub is a bonus. It is a 4 person tub, the photos don’t show it. Both units are nicely decorated and the fireplaces are cozy.

Cozy and comfortable…great location!

This home was very comfortable, clean. nicely decorated, and in a perfect location close to plaza but in a quiet neighborhood. It made my first trip to Taos quite enjoyable, and I would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful property! The pictures don't do it justice. It is so charming and a wonderful reflection on Taos and New Mexico. But the pictures also don't show the flow between the 2 spaces. We rented the whole space for our family and expected a way to move between the spaces but you have to go outside. Just be aware if you are renting it all but still worth it!

Perfect location

We had come here for the Wine Festival and the location was perfectly positioned close to shops and restaurants!! Lots of good food and shopping. We want to come back in the summer and enjoy all the outdoor activities 🤩

Lovely property, great location and wonderful support!

Four friends stayed in the two apartments and we really enjoyed our week. The location was close to the town centre but also very quiet. The caretaker was very responsive with all of our questions. Would recommend this house!

TAOS Family Getaway

We all flew in for a long weekend get together. Some skied, some went to galleries and shopped. Restaurants in the area were excellent from Tex-Mex, to fine dining to brew pub pizza. We all enjoyed being together at the Blue Elk Casa. Star gazing was really good from the upstairs outdoors patio.

Fun Taos Visit

Our family rented the upstairs and downstairs property which worked very well for us. We loved the location. We were able to walk to shopping, restaurants, and music. The host was very friendly and helpful while we were there. The property has all of the uniqueness of Taos architecture and ambiance which we very much enjoyed.

Girls Trip

Beautiful Taos Plaza Vacation Rental

We had a wonderful time at the Blue Elk Casa! Our group consisted of five adults, four kids, one baby, and one small dog, and the multi-level units made it easy to be together while still allowing space for everyone. As a multi-generational group, we very much appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, accessible extra towels and bedding, and closeness to the Plaza. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to book again for our next Taos getaway!
