Charming free standing Casita in Taos, NM

Our Casita is an inviting vacation rental located in Taos, New Mexico. The two bedroom, two bath house offers breathtaking views of sunsets off the back portal, and east views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We provide our guests with the utmost comfort by supplying them with organic sheets, towels, mattresses and bed pillows. We also use non-toxic cleaning products and provide non-toxic soaps. The kitchen is appointed with fiesta ware, stainless cookware & a non-toxic non-stick frying pan. Mexican glassware and more.

The house is conveniently located approximately 4 miles from the Taos Plaza and Taos Country Club golf course, making it the perfect location for a getaway. We are also located 22 miles from the Taos Ski Valley. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, our Casita is the perfect home away from home.

The yard of the Casita is fully fenced.

Great host!House was very clean. Plenty of towels and nice bedding. The BBQ grill had plenty of propane and worked like a champ! We had guests visit during our stay and the living and dining arwas were very comfortable for the 5 of us.Pet friendly with a big secure back yard.Beautiful decor. It's in Ranchos, so it's kind of out of the way, but not far from town. The tranquility makes up for any so called convenient location.I'd book it again if I went back!Thanks!

The casita is such a dreamy, desert stay. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the back patio. It’s beautifully decorated as well. We appreciated the use of all non-toxic soaps and cleaning products.

We loved our stay at Katy’s! The house makes great use of the space and the location was convenient and easy to find. Katy was communicative and even let us know we could arrive early, which I really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again if heading to Taos.

We had such an amazing stay in this wonderful, little Casita. It is a true Taos Jem! Katy was a fabulous host and available for all of our questions and needs. Driving the small backgrounds to the Taos Plaza gives you an authentic experience and takes you back in time. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

A Perfect Place to Stay In Taos

We were so very pleased with our stay at this adorable home. Very comfortable! The beds were especially comfy. We had everything we needed. And the house was so beautifully designed and decorated. We often sat on the back porch to watch the sunsets in a very quiet neighborhood. Communication with Katy, the owner, was warm, welcoming and informative. We highly recommend!

Gem of a rental!

This is a great rental! So much character! Great location with proximity to downtown and skiing in Sipapu. Close to the Gorge. We had an amazing stay here and can’t wait to come back! Host was easy to access for communication and replied so quickly. Everything about this was wonderful!

Perfect Stay for Family Spring Break

We absolutely love staying in this Casita. The home was stunning, spotless and spacious for our family of four plus pet. Ski extravaganza

Property is beautiful with outstanding view of mountains along with exceptional sunrises. The back porch is the bomb for BBQ and sunsets.Thanks for sharing with us. Skiing was Outstanding for a couple of old Texans who have skied Taos for 45 Years. Thanks for such a great place.

Gorgeous Taos vacation rental

Highly recommend this beautiful, well appointed casita!! It is stylish, comfortable, and a fantastic location for adventures around the Taos area. Hosts were excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by the extra touches that made us feel at home during our stay. Convenient to ski areas and local restaurants and shopping.

Katy’s quiet casa

What a delightful, quiet, and cozy little house! It’s an excellent launchpad for adventures of all sorts: visit Taos, explore restaurants, and enjoy the New Mexico outdoors. It’s outside of town and that’s just lovely: close enough for adventure, remote for relaxing and stargazing.

Perfect family casita for a Taos trip`

Katy was incredibly responsive, both proactive and responding almost immediately to any email or text inquiry. The house was immaculate, well set-up and perfect for a weekend with our 2 kids and dog exploring Taos. Location also had a great view from the back yard and close enough to both Taos and local attractions like the Gorge where you didn't feel like you needed to pack up for the day and could come back for quick breaks, etc. Overall a great experience and Katy delivered as advertised!

Lovely casita with amazing sunset views

We enjoyed this lovely casita. We watched the sunsets from the back patio most evenings while our pup romped in the fenced yard. Katy was a wonderful host - easy to contact and very responsive. The place was clean, modern and well stocked. Only about 10 minutes from the plaza. Lots of road construction while we were there, and streets are not well marked, but spend a little time with a map and you can by pass a lot of the construction on the main roadways. Highly recommend!

Cute little place!

Everything was very clean. Casita was easy to find and very cute, sunny and new. Instructions were clear and succinct (thank you!). Everything was in good working order. Host was super responsive and nice. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds as advertised. If you prefer a firmer mattress, we'd suggest taking the front room vs. the back room (however, the back has the ensuite bathroom so you have choices). The place is very cheerful and tastefully decorated. Back yard is completely fenced. Thanks for all your help and kindness. We enjoyed our stay.
