Pick up the bike trail to Fallen Leaf Lake right out your front door of this adorable mountain themed home. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views and with acres of US Forest and CA Conservancy lands across the street, this peaceful setting is perfect for a relaxing vacation getaway.

This spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has had recent updates of luxury vinyl plank flooring, gas fireplace insert with slate surround, pine interior paneling, lighting, granite kitchen countertops & stainless steel kitchen appliances, new bath vanity with granite counter and new sliding glass door. Enjoy the views of Echo Summit from the large sunny back deck in the completely fenced back yard.

House is 8 miles from Stateline and only 10 to 15 minutes from all of Lake Tahoe's attractions!

Perfect location, close to everything we wanted to explore in South Lake Tahoe. The most important part was a pet friendly place, our fur babies loved the big backyard. The full kitchen and big refrigerator made everything easy to prepare meals.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly what we were looking for and worked perfectly for our family, including our dog. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The location was fantastic and close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling like a peaceful getaway. We made some great family memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing Lake Tahoe vacation!

What a fantastic stay! Host was very responsive, the views were absolutely beautiful. The location for us was perfect. One of the most comfortable stays we have had in years!

The home was clean and very reasonably priced at 170 per night, but it is quite dated and could use some attention—especially outside. My biggest concern was that neither the front nor backyard appeared to be well maintained, and there were foxtails throughout the property. This can be dangerous for dogs because foxtails can become embedded in their paws, skin, ears, or nose and potentially result in an expensive veterinary visit.This may be a perfectly suitable and affordable winter rental, when the condition of the yard is less important. However, during the summer, I would not recommend it for guests traveling with dogs unless the foxtails and landscaping are properly addressed.

We had an amazing stay. The house was nice and coz. Quick short drive to everything we wanted to do. We purchased sleds and went across the street and had so much fun. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here and our dogs loved the backyard. The cabin’s location is great to explore South Lake Tahoe and has all the amenities you would need for a short stay. This was our third time staying here and we’ll definitely be back.

Steve, Victoria, their four kids and dog Latte live in the Bay Area. We enjoy skiing in the winter and decided to purchase a home in Tahoe when the kids got older so we can come up more often and stay comfortably. During the summer we enjoy hiking, biking and hanging out at the beach and skiing and snowshoeing during the winter.

We absolutely love it here and hope that you enjoy your stay in Tahoe!

House is ideally situated slightly outside the city limits close to nature yet just a short drive into town. There's so much to explore in South Lake Tahoe and the following are a few of our favorite spots:
o Beach: Kiva Beach (6.4 mi) is a dog friendly beach just north of Camp Richardson.
o Biking: Sawmill road (0.6 mi) contains a quiet and easy bike path from Sawmill Pond to Emerald Bay Road which is ideal for beginners or young children.
o Grocery: Raley's (2.9 mi)
o Hiking: Right outside our front door!
o Movies: Heavenly Valley Cinema (7.7 mi)
o Skiing: Squaw Valley (37.5 mi) is a scenic 1 hour drive up highway 89. We also like Sierra-at-Tahoe (12.1 mi) and their Unlimited Season pass is a great value for frequent skiers.
o Shopping: The shops at Heavenly Village (7.6 mi)
