This spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has had recent updates of luxury vinyl plank flooring, gas fireplace insert with slate surround, pine interior paneling, lighting, granite kitchen countertops & stainless steel kitchen appliances, new bath vanity with granite counter and new sliding glass door. Enjoy the views of Echo Summit from the large sunny back deck in the completely fenced back yard.

House is 8 miles from Stateline and only 10 to 15 minutes from all of Lake Tahoe's attractions!

Perfect getaway for my family

My spouse and I were able to relax and rest during Passover! Homey space with a huge backyard for all of our fur babies.

Perfect Getaway

This property was fantastic! We LOVED the location, the backyard is a dream for those with dogs and the hiking across the street is incredible. It's perfectly located close enough to Stateline but not in the thick of things. Steve was so easy to deal with and everything was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful! Spectacular views

The views are spectacular. There is very little to no vehicle traffic on the street. Very large fenced-in backyard. Nice open space directly across the street for hiking with dogs. Open floor plan for foyer/living/kitchen space. New appliances. Big back deck with BBQ grill. Loved it!

Nice mountain cabin!

A cozy mountain cabin near town, enjoyed our stay. Was easy to get back and forth between skiing, dinners, etc. but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. Might recommend a new water heater, as it was very limited on shower/bath durations (5 minutes). Otherwise was great!

Thanksgiving get away

We love this place. It’s fairly small but perfect for us. The fenced backyard is great for the dogs. We especially love the nearby trails for hiking. The kitchen has everything we needed for a thanksgiving meal

Great house

Great house but a couple of nitpicksThe heater would not heat the bedrooms - only the kitchen/living room. Also TV would not turn on with the remote, maybe dead batteries?

Loved South Lake Tahoe

First time in Tahoe. Very impressed with the beauty of it, peaceful and quiet. Went for son's wedding, and we were perfectly placed, only 15 minutes from the venue. Stores and restaurants close by. For us, it really was the perfect stay.

Tahoe Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at Steve’s home in Mountain View Estates. The home is cozy, the yard was perfect for our dog, so private yet close to town. The views are fabulous. This was our third visit. Hope to be back next year. Lisa, Alan and Bella the 🐕

Great place to relax

My wife and I and our golden retriever had a wonderful stay. The home is older, but has new flooring in the living room, new appliances in the kitchen and a nice gas Weber BBQ on the back deck. The home is located across the street from fields with trails for the dog. The beds are comfortable and the shower has great water pressure. I’d recommend. This is our second stay with Steve.

Great Cabin!

Cozy, close to everything you want to do in Tahoe. Beautiful neighborhood and well-maintained home. Owner answered questions right away. Away from the main highway which allows for quiet and cozy nights. Great place to stay!

Great get away

We were looking for the perfect snowy mountain experience and that's what we got. Loved the location since it was secluded but close enough to restaurants, groceries and activities.

Tahoe Getaway

The property is in a VERY quiet neighborhood, but not far from Stateline, Camp Richardson, restaurants, etc. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Good location, clean, big yard

This property is a good place. It is clean and easy to access. The rooms are ok, the kitchen has the basics, and the yard is large and enclosed (if you have a dog).

Nice clean and functional house in great location.

This house comfortably sleeps six. The open kitchen living room is inviting and makes for great family time after a day out in nature. It is a simple but functional house. Would rent again.

Love this home

We have stayed here several times and really love it. It is small but perfect for us and our dogs. The back yard is large and fenced which made a great place to play ball. Hiking trails right across the street that goes for miles and miles!

Comfortable and practical

Great home in a convenient location. Great yard for the dog and neighborhood for walks. We visited Fallen Leaf lake and south shore. Highly recommend this home.

Anfitrión: Steve Chu

Steve, Victoria, their four kids and dog Latte live in the Bay Area. We enjoy skiing in the winter and decided to purchase a home in Tahoe when the kids got older so we can come up more often and stay comfortably. During the summer we enjoy hiking, biking and hanging out at the beach and skiing and snowshoeing during the winter.

We absolutely love it here and hope that you enjoy your stay in Tahoe!

House is ideally situated slightly outside the city limits close to nature yet just a short drive into town. There's so much to explore in South Lake Tahoe and the following are a few of our favorite spots:
o Beach: Kiva Beach (6.4 mi) is a dog friendly beach just north of Camp Richardson.
o Biking: Sawmill road (0.6 mi) contains a quiet and easy bike path from Sawmill Pond to Emerald Bay Road which is ideal for beginners or young children.
o Grocery: Raley's (2.9 mi)
o Hiking: Right outside our front door!
o Movies: Heavenly Valley Cinema (7.7 mi)
o Skiing: Squaw Valley (37.5 mi) is a scenic 1 hour drive up highway 89. We also like Sierra-at-Tahoe (12.1 mi) and their Unlimited Season pass is a great value for frequent skiers.
o Shopping: The shops at Heavenly Village (7.6 mi)
