Beautiful resort villa with a private pool and spectacular ocean views at the Mauna Kea Resort. Villa 327 is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath paired home that offers a spacious floorpan, a private pool deck, spill-over hot tub and large glass sliding doors for the perfect indoor/outdoor vacation experience. The owner spared no expense and added developer upgrades throughout the villa, including an extended lanai area with lounges and seating for your whole group, two outdoor showers, and upscale Tommy Bahama furnishings. The villa offers two master bedrooms, each with king size beds, flat screen TVs, walk-in closets and gorgeous en suite bathrooms. The third bedroom has a king size bed, television and its own private bathroom with a shower. This villa was designed for your ultimate vacation with a fully-stocked chef's kitchen, ample seating and dining options, and every detail to make this the most comfortable vacation home to entertain and relax in.

Guests of Waiulaula Villa 327 may purchase daily resort access to enjoy all facilities and amenities at both the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Resorts. Access must be purchased for the entire duration of your stay and covers all registered guests in the unit. Please note: This privilege is offered directly by Mauna Kea Resort, and South Kohala Management is not responsible for any changes to resort services or amenities. Rates are as follows:
2026: $225 per day (Base Rate) | $330 per day (Peak Rate). Peak rates apply from March 21-April 11, November 21-27, and December 19-January 2, 2027.
2027: Rates have not yet been determined and are subject to change.

Home is beautiful and well kept. Once we got the hot tub working, our first five days were a bit frustrating, we had a wonderful time. The house was worth the little extra we paid. We’d rent if again if we come back and it’s available.

Our mystical adventure

the grounds-well kept We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. Every minute detail concerning daily life seemed at our fingertips! The home was fantastic in every way. The views…breathtaking…the pool…the spa…wonderful…the grounds-well kept. The perfect experience in all aspects!!

Great house

Awesome house and kitchen. Plenty of cookware and sharp knives. No hooks or towel bars for bath towels in the large & wonderful bathrooms was a little curious. Really enjoyed !

Big Island Fun

Just back from a wonderful three week stay. Our villa was perfect for the four of us. Really appreciated the two master bedrooms which provided all the amenities, but also welcomed privacy. Spent the bulk of our time outside by the pool & hot tub with wonderful views of the Pacific. Unit was well stocked with everything required, most especially the kitchen. It was nice to have access to both nearby hotels (albeit a fairly pricy add-on). The management company was super helpful, offering a painless checkin and clear instructions. We very much look forward to a return visit in the near future.

The perfect home in Mauna Kea Residences!

We have stayed at other homes in this area, and this unit is the best! With both a pool and sauna with clear beautiful views of the ocean, it's heaven. The home is very well appointed, with everything you could possibly need. Clearly, the owner spends time in the kitchen, as everything is top quality. The home is clean and spacious, with each bedroom having it's own bath. There are 2 outdoor showers, which we also really enjoyed. This is a great community. Also, for a fee, you have access to the two hotels, their beaches, restaurants and amenities. The best of being on vacation, while feeling like you are at home. Thank you for having us!

Lovely home, but with issues

On the plus side, the home is beautifully designed on the inside with a spacious family room/living room/kitchen with a large subzero freezer/refrigerator and huge central island --- perfect for a family that enjoys cooking, eating and being together. The two master bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms are also spacious and comfortable. The lanai with hot tub and adjoining pool enjoy great privacy, beautiful views, and the outdoor television is a real plus. The gated community is also very safe, secure and well maintained by a large number of gardening staff. There is a terrific community club house that includes a modern gym and nice pool. A golf course winds its way through and around the gated community and provides much of the nearby scenery. Unfortunately, there were minuses. When we arrived on day 1 following our long flight, car rental and drive, we could not enter the gated community because we had been given the wrong passcode to the gate. This was enormously frustrating because no one answered the phone at property management and we had to sit in our car for several hours before we were able to persuade a homeowner to let us in. The home itself is not free-standing but rather it is a part of a duplex that shares a wall and driveway with another home. Advertised as having 3,500 sq feet, but in fact, it’s closer to 2,500 sq feet (indoors) and this should be corrected. The garage was locked and inaccessible, so we had to park our car in the driveway, and there was no room to turn around. In fact, there were several occasions when we could not move our car in or out because of parked cars from the neighbor! The internet was strong in the living/dining room but spotty in the bedrooms. Perhaps the most disruptive and anxiety-provoking problem we encountered was on the morning of day #4 when all of a sudden all 4 toilets wouldn’t/couldn’t flush and two started overflowing. We contacted the property manager who reached RotoRooter, and although it took 4-5 hours for the truck to arrive, the serviceman was able to fix the problem by clearing out the outside drainage line, which he speculated may have been invaded by plant roots. Despite these problems, overall we still had a great time in a home with many positives but a few negatives.

Gorgeous home in paradise

What can we say about this luxurious home overlooking the ocean and mountains surrounded by rolling golf course scenes. The house was exquisite in design and is supplied with absolutely everything one would need from a real chef’s kitchen to beach chairs for the incredible Kapuna beach just situated across the hiway. Oustanding experience, thank you for having us!

Amazing Villa

We have stayed at several other properties offered by this owner and they continue to satisfy every possible need and expectation. This villa was just recently completed and the decorating and amenities are outstanding. This is truly how you would expect the very fortunate to live in Hawaii. Beautifully appointed bedrooms, large closets, privacy, TV's, and built-in USB ports everywhere. The entire back of the home has a wall of doors that slide open onto the lanai giving you a stunning view of the ocean sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen is built for cooking or guests and has all the appliances, gadgets, and cookware you would need. Plus, those outdoor showers are like bathing under a waterfall. The pool and spa provide private relaxation, although there is an Amenities Center nearby with the same, but on a larger scale, plus an exercise room and infinity pool. We will definitely plan to reserve this one again. Colorado, USA

Wow what at perfectly Gorgeous place to stay. Amazing quality. The owner spared nothing to make our stay a luxury vacation. The kitchen is a 5 Star as well as every other aspect. The bedrooms are simply over the top. I couldn't wait to fall asleep in the perfect comfort of the beds. The hot tub was great to soak in after a long day of golf. The pool was refreshing on warm evenings. The exercise room at the amenity center was fit for all levels of experience. The view of the ocean and the golf course is the best. The outdoor living is the best I have ever enjoyed. This is a must stay if you want total luxury and 5 star stay. I will be back for sure.

None better

This rental unit is beyond your expectations! Brand new, fully furnished kitchen, impeccably decorated, big screen TV and wonderful king sized beds in all 3 bedrooms! My favorite is the outdoor showers! Now outside, a wonderful ocean view with gorgeous sunsets! The outdoor pool is beautiful and refreshing after a sun filled day. The lanai is gorgeous with access to two of the bedrooms and living area! You will not be sorry when you get here!
