Studio condo located on the shores of Bolongo Bay. Join the fun at the pool, on the beach, on the tennis courts, at Iggie’s Beach Bar, with the dive boat, with sand volleyball, or a sail on Heavenly Days, the resort catamaran. The studio at Watergate Villas East is next door to Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. There are three restaurants within easy walking distance, two at the resort and one on property. Lots to do on property but we suggest renting a vehicle to see the rest of our lovely island.
The unit has a king size bed with linens provided, a living area, dining area , kitchen and separate bath. All towels, bath, kitchen and beach are provided as well as all the utensils that you would need to prepare an at home meal in your home away from home. There is a dining area on the patio as well. Ceiling fan and tropical breezes keep the unit at pleasant temperature but air conditioning is also available in the unit. Wifi and cable TV are also provided, internet phone for local and long distance calls.

Very nice

The condo was very nice and clean the shower worked very well and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful views and the pool was very good.

Great View!

Property was perfect for us two! Enjoyed the view and the near by restaurants! Unit was clean and comfortable, it had everything we would need. Would like to stay again when we come back to the islands.

Relaxing stay

It was amazing relaxing vacation , property was exactly like the photos . The room was clean , a little outdated but it was perfect with the island atmosphere. We rented a car , and tour the island. People that were on the property were courteous, we even made some friends. The pool was clean , perfect for ending the day . We slept with the sound of the ocean . In the morning vi would have my coffe sitting on the balcony watching the sun and waves hit the shoreline, it was a beautiful view from the room. We also ate at Iggies and Mims , right on the property, the food and drink were delicious. We truly had a relaxing getaway , hoping to return .

Beautiful views.

The property was exactly what you saw in the pictures. It needs updating, but is immaculately clean, and conveniently situated. It’s 15 minutes from Coki beach, and 15 minutes from downtown. The sight and sound of the ocean upon rising, and before falling asleep made it all worth it. Car rental would be wise (but expensive). Groceries are also expensive. Mim’s (on site) restaurant only serves dinner, but Iggie’s (a short walk up the beach) does breakfast and lunch. We had no need to contact the owner other than check in. He did however respond promptly.

Location is perfect, unit requires updates.

The location of this property is perfect, right on the beach and close to Red Hook. The unit we stayed in was dated and in need of upgrades. We had issues with the door lock and a/c but overall for the price and location it was definately worth it. Overall 4 stars.

Amazing value

I started to regret my impulse flight purchase to St. Thomas when researching hotels and realizing how expensive accommodations are here. But luckily, I came across this listing! It looks way better in person. The view is stunning, the space has everything you need, and the location is pretty good. This is a really really amazing value for the price and I’m so grateful I could stay here. The cons only amount to minor inconveniences but I’ll share them if it helps you make a decision. Apartment is very charming but could use a few updates. Bolongo beach isn’t great for swimming (but it’s so easy to get to some really great beaches). Pillows are hard. Only 2 kind of pricey restaurants nearby, nowhere in walking distance that I saw to get snacks or buy bottled water that’s not $3 each. (However taxi drivers are very nice and will stop for you if you ask) So like I said all the cons are minor and have workarounds. The communication was excellent and it’s clear the owner takes pride in their listing and providing a good client experience. Highly recommend!

Great balcony

We enjoyed the balcony so much. We spent every morning and every night out there. The pool was great, and the restaurants were incredible, especially Mims! It was cozy for the 2 of us. We were not disappointed.

My Stay

Perfect place to stay! Wake up with the beautiful water views and close to restaurants and a short drive to Red Hook and Havensight. Was clean and had everything you needed for a great vacation. Will be staying here again the next time we visit.

Million Dollar View

The pictures in the listing don’t do the actual view from the balcony justice. A highlight of the trip was morning coffee and after dinner drinks enjoying the incredible view of the ocean. Rick was very responsive and even stopped out for a quick repair. The location was a very easy drive to red hook and beaches. The king size bed was comfortable and the condo had the necessities. We also enjoyed a quick walk to Iggies most nights to enjoy live music.

Beautiful views

The property is in a beautiful location. The only problem was the a/c wasn’t working. The owner was off the island and his backup didn’t respond. We therefore made arrangements at another property for our stay. The owner responded the next morning and was very apologetic and pledged to return our money. He did that promptly, which we deeply appreciated. This owner stands by his word and you can’t ask more than that. We would stay with him in the future.

Awesome!!

Loved the view!! Waking up and having coffee and watch the Sea Turtles from your own deck. Very quiet, but a quick walk down the beach to Iggies or across the patio to Mim's for a drink, dinner, or entertainment. Definately would stay again.

Great condo! Great island!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We snorkeled in Bolongo Bay, swam in the gorgeous pool, and ate at Mims and Iggies. Fabulous!

Very hospitable and well kept

We spent 7 days at the condo and were very pleased with our experience there. Everything worked the way we expected it to. The pool is a great feature and we loved being within walking distance of Iggy's!! The beach is fairly rocky, but pretty. Wear water shoes if you want to go in though.

Perfect spot, beach, snorkeling,sunrise, all just wonderful

The studio unit was perfect for the two of us. Everything we thought we might need was in the unit, we just had to get our food and drinks and hit the beach. Restaurants, games, dive shop all right there no need to go off the property. Sunsets and sunrises both were beautiful.
