New studio in Sapphire Village!

This unit was purchased in March of 2016. It went through cosmetic renovations and few upgrades. It is located in Sapphire Village Resort, a gated community just steps from Sapphire Beach with lots of amenities on site. Amenities include: 2 swimming pools, Sapphire Bar&Grill restaurant, laundry room. The unit is located in Tobago Building on the 2nd Floor, walk-in from the ground floor. It is a spacious studio, perfect for a couple. It has a queen size bed . The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, blender, pots&pans, utensils, dinnerware and glassware. It has an air conditioning unit and 2 ceiling fans. There is in room Wi-Fi, 40" flat screen TV with cable service. We have all you need for the perfect day out; beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkeling gear and beach towels.

Quiet and comfortable

It was a comfortable stay for a couple’s weekend. This place has some cute island inspired decor with hand painted murals and art pieces throughout- which is different from the photos on Vrbo. Unfortunately there was a horrible smell coming from the kitchen sink while we were there- we covered it up with air freshener and cleaned the sink several times but it persisted.

Sapphire Beach Condo

Adorable little studio has a boho beach vibe. Great location, little beach bar/restaurant right below and then down the hill is the beach, marina, and larger pool and restaurants. It was a great spot I really enjoyed my trip!

Awesome location

The property was awesome! It was perfect for a couple on a short getaway. The restaurant on the property was amazing the food there was so good. We only ate there the whole weekend. The pool was heated felt very nice. Our only complaint was that there was some kind of foul smell in the unit may be coming from something spoiled in the refrigerator, but we couldn’t find it. We just had to go find some spray and candles, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker Overall we enjoyed it and would return.

Absolutely amazing location!

This adorable studio was perfect for our family of three. It was really easy to find and located in the bulding attached to both a pool & restaurant. Not only is it walking distance to Sapphire Beach, it also was only a short drive to Coki and Lundquist Beaches which were beautiful too. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice quaint property.

The view is great. The beach is about a 3 minute walk. The pool is one level below and there is a great Craft pizza restaurant right next to it.

Some pros but more cons

I want to start off by saying the location is top notch and the studio is cute.However, I had to request three times for the check in code so the arrival went smoothly. Also, I had to ask three times for a couple extra towels and finally had some tied to the outside door on the last day. I have stayed at Sapphire Beach numerous times and never have had to beg for something so basic. The responses I received were as though it was too much of a bother..Additionally, there was very limited plates and silverware and the previous tenant that used the blender had apparently put back on the shlef without cleaning it. So I did..This unit is for sale and I guess the owner just wants out but still no excuse for the substandard service.

Great location

eclectic inland feel. close walk to the beach . Nice amenities , pools , restaurants and bars. If you rent a car , parking is convenient. The only negative the mattress and pillows could be replaced. Having beach towels and chairs was nice bonus.

Stay at Safire beach

Natasha was very accommodating. By the photos I thought the beach was going to be right outside our door. We had a view of the ocean, but with 2 blocks of condos in front of us. There was a bad smell when opening the kitchen cabinets. My daughter saw that the air conditioner filter needed to be changed. I ended up getting a terrible cough while there. If the filter on the air conditioner was changed and the smell in the kitchen cabinets were taken care of I would have given the cleanliness a 4

Great location

Been to St Thomas many times and stayed in the village every time as I have relatives who live there. Access is at parking lot level in Tobago building. No stairs to deal with. Up high enough to get the breeze through the balcony. Unit has good WiFi which helped as we couldn't get the TV to work. Streaming was better for us anyway. Unit is older and not upgraded. Bed has seen better days.

Disappointed stay

The property claimed they had TV service when in fact excuses for a “non hurricane” were given for the reason the TV was out when in fact after reading previous reviews the truth is the TV hasn’t worked for months. The owner wasn’t forthright and offered no financial relief for not having any tv for 6 nights. Will never stay at this property again. Too many other good places at sapphire to stay at.

Great location, but needs updating

Great location and the view is fabulous. Street level entry is a plus. Clean. Now the downfall is that it needs updating. Entrance door is hard to open. Bed too soft. Found ourselves rolling to the middle. Also really wanted to unwind at night and watch TV. TV does not work. We were told something about a roof issue and just occurred a few days ago, but when you look at the reviews it appears there is never a TV. The Slice restaurant is convenient but the service was awful, and the food was only OK. Back on the positive side, Red Hook is close and had lots of great bars and options.

Amazing View

The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The view outside the balcony was beautiful!!! The location was pretty great too. We originally rented a car and when we got the airport all the cars were gone. The condo’s location was a couple minutes drive to Redhook and the St John Ferry. It’s very easy to catch the $1 safari/taxi into town from the condo. You do have to walk up a hill from the condo to get to the “bus stop”. It’s about a 5 minute walk so keep that in mind if your unable to do so. Also when returning to the condo keep in mind the $1 safari only goes one way around the island, so you’ll want to taxi back to your condo otherwise you’ll be on the safari for a long time. The taxi home costs about $5 per person. The beach is another walk down hill and there’s a new beach bar with lots of drinks, music, and food. I personally did not enjoy the food at the Slice, which is located at the bottom of the condo, but the beach bar’s food was very enjoyable. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the mattress and pillows were very old, hard, and worn. After a long day of hiking, swimming, and snorkeling it would of been nice to sleep on something better. I do understand that it is an island and resources are limited, but at least some new pillows with some sort of fluff would be nice. And in the long run hopefully they can order a new mattress. I’m not sure if amazon delivers there but Zenus’s mattresses are comfortable and very affordable off Amazon. I was very happy to return home to my memory foam mattress. Other than that the place was great!

The property has 2 beautiful pools on site. One of the pools is just down the stairs from the condo. There is Bar & Grill located right by the pool, for those lazy days when you don't feel like cooking. The property has Marina access just steps away, you can buy fresh fish right by the docks or take a charter boat out to explore nearby islands.
