Professionally managed means peace of mind during your stay. Front desk associates, housekeeping and maintenance staff are nearby should you need anything during your stay. It’s your vacation, we are here to ensure you enjoy it.

RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity.
4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

Sand Trap rents with a 3-night minimum with check-in and check-out on Wednesday or Saturday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

Quick getaway

The Sand Trap was even better in person than it appears in photos. Clean, fun, close to beach, and family oriented. Would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 3rd time we’ve rented The Sand Trap. The furniture in the Primary Bedroom has changed but the pictures on the website still show the Sofa Bed. We were surprised to see that it was no longer there for my Grandsons to sleep on. We did find an Air Mattress in the closet for them but I would have preferred to know ahead of time. The house is showing some wear and tear over the last two years and should be fixed. Overall we like the house and the resort and had a great time.

Air conditioning worked well and beds were comfortable. The kitchen is a bit small and I wish the porch was a bit deeper. Very close to shuffleboard and kayaks.

5 day retreat

The house was as advertised; very roomy, comfortable and clean. Everything was in working condition. Absolutely no issues with the house. The location was good: within a 5 minute walk of the pool and a 12 minute easy walk to the beach. A Golf cart was part of the rental so getting to the beach was very easy and quick. The beach is awesome. The house is situated in a small beach community; very charming.

Shenanigans- we got Shenaniganed!!

Girls Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beachwalk is a fantastic location. The addition of the golf cart with the house was the highlight of the weekend. We were fortunate to have such nice weather at the end of September. We spent 2 days on the beach and the golf cart was nice to have to get back and forth. House had so many sleeping option and I loved that there were so many single beds. Front deck was so nice to hang out on in the evenings. All around a great house and I would recommend to anyone. Only one thing that could be eliminated or at least warned in advance. There was what seemed to be a camera on the 1st floor above the cabinets. I'm glad we noticed it and put a towel over it. Being near the beach you never know what state of dress you maybe in and privacy is needed within a home.

The best family vacation

We had 7 people most of the trip with 3 additional family members staying 2 of the nights. We had ample space and places to sleep and play. Super nice house and fully stocked kitchen We just brought food and swimsuits and we were set! Loved thw golf cart for convenience. The new playground was amazing! We will be back yearly.

End of summer getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental experience was overall great. It was the perfect amount of space for 2 small families (4 adults + 3 toddlers). The one complaint I had was I felt like the house was just given a quick wipe down before we came - the floors were filthy and that was hard with small kids. I ended up getting cleaning solution and mopping the house myself. The town is so cute and the activities & golf carts were magic for the kids!!

Tons of fun!

Clean and close to the water. Nice touch of everyone has their own towels on their beds. Everything is there that you need except for beach chairs. Besides that, perfect.

Great for family vacation with small children

Other family members rented another house in the Beachwalk resort too. The Sandtrap was so nice and clean. Updated beach decor and furnishings with modern working appliances. We were a short walk or golf cart ride from our other family member’s rental, the pool, beach, fishing dock (our four year old loved this!), and playground. Definitely recommending to all of our friends. We had a great time!

Short stay, second trip to Beachwalk

Last year we stayed in a home through a private owner.SandTrap has been updated and has nice living spaces.The kitchen amenities were new and there was plenty of prep space.The kids enjoyed eating at the bartop.We were disappointed that the floors were filthy black. After walking around the house for just a few minutes my husband's socks were black. There was a nice deck out back with a table and chairs to eat at and a clean, easy to use grill. There was a wagon which we did not need but no beach chairs or toys for the kids. The home we stayed in last year had games and all of the items we would need for the beach so this was a disappointment. The road is very busy with almost constant vehicles, golf clubs or pedestrian traffic. The main bedroom has a porch which we enjoyed sitting on but the wall of windows meant the noise level at night was not restful.The master shower was very slow to drain. We are not partiers and the crowds around us were up late into the early morning hours which made it very difficult to sleep.There were fireworks going off somewhere was very disappointing as the rules clearly state quiet hours which people clearly disregard. We want to enjoy a restful, relaxing visit to the beach and when others do not have that in mind it leaves you unrested and unable to fully enjoy your vacation.The new amenities are nice. We were able to play table tennis one night when there was some rain coming in and the clubhouse did not have a lot of people around. The pool is decent size but gets crowded at times. The kids enjoyed it though for the times we used it. We really had fun trying out the peddle boats although they were full of dirty water and needed to be dumped. We should have went up and asked for the attendant to do that for us before we got in. Beachwalk is a great find without having to venture too far from home!

Great house and location

Really nicely updated home. Larger than I expected and perfect for the 5 adults and one child we had staying for a wedding. The golf cart was awesome, my three year old especially loved it. The proximity to the playground was great and the other property amenities were really nice, as well. It was a great location to visit the dunes one morning. We absolutely would use the place again for future visits to the area. The only thing I noticed was the listing mentioned a fire pit in the description but I don’t think there was one…at least that we could find. Not a huge deal but wanted to mention.
