This is the Best Rental on the River! This home has a private sandy beach and 27ft wide boat launch. This is a 1500 square foot, two bedroom, two bath home, located on the river. No smoking allowed. Inquire about pets.

THIS IS A SISTER PROPERTY TO VRBO 40564. YOU CAN RENT BOTH HOMES
FOR LARGER GROUPS.

The house is completely furnished.. The kitchen has refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and fully equipped with all cooking and eating essentials. The house has a central air-conditioner and heating unit.

All bedrooms are completely furnished with beds, dressers and ceiling fans. This is a wonderful home with lots of windows and ceramic tile.

There is plenty of parking for boats and RV's. There is a 18 hole golf course within one mile. The house is 18 miles from the Bullhead/Laughlin Casinos and 13 miles from the sand bar.

Great house

Great house to stay and enjoy the lake. Host is easy to communicate, very spacious, kids enjoy the games. Has a private lake and parking is big. I really enjoyed staying here. My kids enjoyed to water all day.

Great place to stay on the CO River. Loved the private beach and deck overlooking the river. Place was nice, clean and the beds were super comfortable! Owner was easy to contact if we had any questions.

Great River View

2nd time we've stayed and we're very satisfied with the rental. Early check in time was a plus and sandy beach with sturdy umbrella was even better for those hot days. Boat launch ramp is very convenient and made our trip that much better. We would definitely come back.

Great place to stay.

We stayed here March 2011 and totally enjoyed it. The property was very clean and well furnished, with lots of linens and cookware. Location is across the river from Needles, and 20 minutes from Bullhead City for shopping, groceries and casinos. Two hours from Las Vegas made a wonderful drive, as well as Oatman, and Lake Havasu. We fully enjoyed the large porch and windows overlooking the river. Bryan and Charlotte were very helpful with any questions we had.

Best kept secret on the river

This is our second time staying at this house and we love it. The convenience of having our own beach, launch and close proximity to Needles suits our family nicely. We usually have additional friends/family members book the rear property so we can have the entire beach to ourselves. The owners of property are very responsive and easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

River Getaway

Had a great time. The only thing we were bummed about is that there is no dock for a boat. When entering the property it is difficult to get in and out of when you have a boat due to entrance being so tight. Overall, our stay was great fun!!

Homeless Issues

There used to be a homeless camp directly across the river from this property. California police kicked them out which would seem good, but it had the effect of simply moving them across the bridge, closer to this property (only one property between squatters and this one). It’s a total bummer because the house and beachfront are great. My family just didn’t feel safe with loud homeless folks sharing the beach. We let the owner know and she put the burden on us to call the police.

Had a good time.

Fabulous view of the Colorado River, and Needles, CA, just behind it. The view thru the wall of windows and from the deck makes the house, but everything else (save the WIFI) is fine, bedrooms are nice, kitchen worked for me. I never did figure out the television/DVD player/ Netflix hookup, but I'm no longer young and these things can be a mystery to me. I ultimately just viewed Netflix thru my laptop, which brings up the subject of WIFI. The Frontier modem/router is old and outdated. It still uses WEP for its router security. WEP is ancient and dangerous. The home does have a basic Netgear router with WP2 security which is the one you'll have to use. Unfortunately the WIFI signal can be over the place, often fine, other times slow but usable, other times unacceptably slow; and you never know what you're going to get from day to day. Also the computer needs to be placed close to the router. Whether this is because of the old Frontier router/modem, the Netgear router, the Frontier DSL, or all of the above, I don't know, but because of the hassle I downrated the property 1*. Other than this I enjoyed my stay (though there are idiosyncrasies relating to the water and to the location).
