Come and relax in our little slice of Heaven just minutes from downtown Helen on the Soque River.
Our Cabin is Immaculate and has everything you need to have a wonderful stay near Helen. Whether you want to veg out in front of the 48 inch flat screen TV, or you may choose to be outdoors and enjoy the Soque River, sitting bye the fire pit or take in all the beauty from our back deck.

Our Cabin is so special you may not want to leave!
If that is the case, we have a Charcoal grill and our beautiful kitchen is very well stocked for cooking.

We also have a land line with unlimited long distance to stay in touch with the family and also WIFI to check your email.

Our Cabin is in a great location to Helen, Lake Burton, Clarkesville, Cleveland and a little further you can enjoy Clayton and Dillard.

We enjoyed our stay and really liked the cabin, it had all of the amenities that we needed. Very clean. WiFi was the only thing that wasn’t so good. Maybe a dvd player to watch movies would be nice. Absolutely beautiful property. It would have been nice to walk down to the river but still enjoyed looking at it and hearing it from the deck.

Listing not accurate. No land line internet spotty. Pictures show on river but can barely see it. Cobwebs on lamps,holes in sheets but i brought my own. Cabin is beautiful though.

Everything was as listed & pictured. Safe setting except a light switch by the front door would be good. It was clean. Liked the lists of Wi-Fi and other numbers that were informative. The batteries in the tv remote died but thank goodness our little flashlight had AAA’s in it so we put those in. Well suppled, wasn’t any shampoo/conditioner but didn’t really expect it, but soap would have been nice. Also you’d have less gnats and flies if you could screen it the deck. Plus a path to the river like they had next door would be great. But it was peaceful and quiet unless the neighbors were out and about. But all in all it was nice. Would recommend and come again!

Everything was nice. Kitchen great, Wi-Fi good but no news channel found. The sofa needs support.I would suggest a non slip mat in shower, very slippery when wet.The notes and sayings on the walls made it even more comforting.Over all it was a wonderful getaway for a husband and wife celebrating an anniversary. Thank you.

I added 2 extra days . For today and tomorrow, And the owner comes knocking on the door this morning.What is that all about???He said he did not know it had been extended.I was not thrilled to say the least that he came knocking.

We arrived 16.00 at the cottage, looked just beautiful. Tried to open the door per instruction but it did not work.Area had no phone signal, had to drive to next town called the number given to us by VRBO got message number you called is not in service. Went into a business and ask them to call this number from their phone, same story number Is not in service.booked a hotel in Helen ,ask the clerk to call the number , same store. So we were very tired ( I am 84 ) and overnighted in the hotel and went home next dsy.I WANT TO THANK VERBO FOR REINBURSING US IN FULL Peter

Nice location comfortable space

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at this lovely cottage. The location is good for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of life. The king-sized bed was fairly comfortable; however, if you’re short like me and have back issues, you may find it difficult to climb into the extra-high bed. The wooden bed frame gives a person a little bit of step up into the bed, but for some older folks it may be a bit difficult. (You may want to take a folding step stool to make this easier.)I didn’t read through all of the information before arriving, although I did print out the list of things to bring. I should have brought more items such as foil, matches, shampoo, and k-cups—if I had known these wouldn’t be supplied.The internet is very sluggish and it was difficult communicating with our family at times. We basically caught up on texts and emails when we went into Helen.The back deck is nice for enjoying some meals. You can hear the water from the river and in the warmer months the shade from the trees keeps the temperatures cooler. There is a grill to the side of the house and 2 chairs for sitting at the fire pit. We used the grill one night (after buying charcoal and matches). We enjoyed that meal. We didn’t use the fire pit as the temperatures were a bit warm for having a campfire. I’m sure many folks would enjoy making s’mores over the fire in cooler weather.The space and arrangement of the interior of the cabin is nice. The couch with reclining seats is great.

Respite in the woods.

The cabin was perfect for my husband and I to unwind. Secluded. Clean. Sound of the creek. Comfortable bed. Everything you need is there. The host was very responsive and informative. Will book again soon. .

Fantastic Getaway - almost perfect

What a fantastic and peaceful location! This was exactly the sort of getaway we needed! The cabin is perfect for two, with plenty of cozy couches and a giant bed. AC/Heating worked well and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed for minimal cooking.However, there were 2 major issues. 1: the bathroom smelled like pee - especially the shower area. It was so bad, we took the shower curtain down and washed it; That helped a little bit, but clearly the pee had gotten on other things. There was also a strong musty pee smell on the curtains by the sliding back door. 2. The wifi was painfully slow and dropped all the time. We barely got 5 megabytes of data. This made planning our daily hikes extremely slow. Since neither of us had cell service, we relied solely on wifi for information, but it was so bad, we sometimes just waited until we got to Helen to get cell reception.

Great cabin!

Had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean looked just like the pictures. The only thing I think the owner need to update are the Teflon pans most have scratches and it’s not healthy to cook with.
