Ocean front with unencumbered view of the entire Copacabana and Leme Beaches. Spacious 147 square meters (1580 square feet) apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Beautiful sunrises and cool ocean breezes. The ocean is in front of you with restaurants, outdoor life and the famous Rio beach culture at your feet. Convenient to transportation and shopping.

You are in the epicenter of the Leme/Copacabana neighborhood. Everything that happens in Rio happens outside our window: parades, marches, half marathons, cycling tours, you name it we see it. We saw the The FIFA Fan Fest, Rolling Stones concert, Pope Francis, Lenny Kravitz, and the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks from our window.

There are two elevators accessing the apartment: the front social elevator (recently updated) which services only one apartment per floor and the rear service elevator (servicing 3 apartments) with entry through the kitchen.

The house features new sofas, art work, persian carpets in the living room, and antique furniture. There is an ultra comfortable hammock in the living room which is perfect for an afternoon nap. Ceiling fans and high wall split air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room. The twin beds in two bedrooms can be combined to be queen sized beds and there is a full sized bed in the third bedroom. All beds have a 3 inch topper for added comfort. The bedrooms are have black out curtains, TV's, Google Chromecast for streaming audio and video. The living room has Apple TV with a Bose sound system.
We have a 120MB internet router with Google Mesh WIFI for apartment wide internet access. In case of any internet outage, we have a Skyroam portable with which also can be used by guests outside of the apartment (for daily fee).

The kitchen comes equipped with refrigerator, cook top/oven, washer and dryer, microwave, mixer, toaster, coffee maker, Nexpresso machine, blender, sandwich press, dicer among many other devices and utensils. We have practically all you need for cooking.

There is a 24 hour 7 day a week doorman for the building with video surveillance in all common areas.


The apartment is on border between the Leme and Copacabana neighborhoods. This area is great. This area is very safe and much more peaceful than the rest of Copacabana. There are some outstanding restaurants in the area and some night life as well. You can rent bikes across the street, rent a paddle board at the other end of the beach, or go for an ocean swim.

From Galeão International Airport, it is a 40 minute to 1 hour cab/Uber ride depending upon route, traffic, time of day and year (note that after 9PM, all day Sunday, Holidays and the month of December taxis are 20% higher. The higher rate is indicated by flag "2").

From the Santos Dumont Aiport (domestic) it is 35 reais taxi ride (15 minutes).

From the bus station it is about a 50 reais cab ride. You can take Uber, but the meeting place is near the gas station outside of the terminal.

From either of the airports or bus station, you have the option of taking a luxury bus (frescão in portuguese). The cost is about 15 reais. You need to take the bus which goes to Copacabana. You would get off at the Hilton Hotel on the corner of Avenida Atlantica and Princesa Isabel. Note on Sundays and holidays this bus stops on Barata Ribeiro which is a 10 minute walk to the apartment.
