We loved our stay. House and everything was good. Walk along greenbelt trail to Poi Pu was easy.We would suggest a few more bowls in the kitchen, especially with lids st store cooked food.

After searching through many listings in the Poipu area, we selected this perfect place to stay! We are a family of 3 adult pairs and 2 young children, so the Hale Kai Kea accommodations were perfect. The beds were fabulous! Perhaps the pillows could be replaced, but we made it work. The house layout and flow was amazing for total family enjoyment. The kitchen accommodated all of our culinary habits and tastes. We loved all the outdoor space - upstairs, back patio, side yard, front porch, all accommodated whatever level of sun or breeze desired. We were a short walk from the Hyatt, surfing beaches, kid safe beaches, shaved ice, great hotdogs, sandwiches, fancy restaurants, local markets, and gift shopping. We'll be back!

Wow! This house was exactly what we were looking for! Not only was it spacious inside, the outdoor area was spacious too! The house was perfect for our family of 4 and our friend’s family of 3 (each family had a baby). The kitchen has all of the amenities you need to cook meals at home and they have a grill! They also have a great washer and dryer which we used! Jeremy, the host, was super super responsive! Any questions or needs he would respond immediately or accommodate for us. We are so appreciative of our stay and having him as a host! Could not recommend more!Oh and you’re close to everything at this location!

We decided to make Hawaii the destination for our family vacation. We've been to Oahu and Maui on previous trips, so Kauai was our choice, this time. Not knowing anything about the island, I looked for a house large enough to accomodate our family and this was it. My husband and I, our two adult daughters, their husbands and one five-year old granddaughter had plenty of room. We thought we would use the yard more than we did, but it was toasty outside. The fans inside kept the house comfortable. In addtion, we discovered that leaving the front door open while we were inside, along with the sliding door, provided a nice cross breeze. We noticed neighbors doing the same thing. The location was perfect and had trails within walking distance to multiple beaches. I walk at night when it cools down and met other visitors doing the same. The house is on a double-ended cul-de-sac, making it perfect for walking laps! Our granddaughter loved the pool and it was also within walking distance. The house had everything we needed. In addition, were able to get a late check-out, since there wasn't another guest arriving on our last day. We bought groceries at BIG SAVE and the prices were significantly less than Safeway. Very spacious house. When you walk in, theres a kitchen, dining room, sunken living room. The bedrooms have couches in them! There is no need for AC as the wind blows through the entire house. The kitchen supplies were not great but if you're not cooking, no worries. Very close to the beach and shopping mall.

Perfect home for a family get together

We had a great time in this house for 4 days, enjoying the beauty of the island. A short walk to the beach. Very conveniently located to several restaurants and shopping areas. House is bright and airy, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and clean bathrooms.

Great house and host for the family.

Close to the beach, an easy 5-10 min walk. The beaches were amazing. Kids loved playing tennis and pickleball! Some days we wished there was AC but other days the ocean breeze was just right!
