This beautifully restored downtown cottage exudes history and elegance. The high ceilings and beautiful furnishings makes the home feel spacious and comfortable, despite it’s early 1900’s construction. The beautiful, historic, heart pine floors and classic front porch will transport you into a simpler time, while offering the luxury of modern amenities. The four bedrooms and three baths are perfect for families or groups up to 8 people.


Tranquil Cottage is a short distance away from Bay street shops and art district, as well as the historic Spanish fort and museums. Take a carriage ride just steps away from the house and truly explore the rich history of downtown Beaufort.

The owner understands the flexibility needed for families coming into town for Marine graduations at Parris Island. Please inquiry about the more lenient change/cancellation policy for Marine graduations.

Great property near Paris Island! Close to shopping and restaurants. Was a perfect place to stay while being there for our sons graduation. Courtney was an awesome host and the property was as advertised and well worth the price!

Beautiful historic home. Courtney was an amazing host the house well maintained and is in a great area and close to everything. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay with family for graduation or visiting the Parris Island/Beaufort area.

We absolutely loved our stay in Beaufort. The home was in a wonderful location in the middle of such a beautiful and charming town. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and we loved how close we were to downtown.One of our favorite parts of the stay was sitting on the porch with our coffee each morning. It was such a peaceful and relaxing way to start the day. The kitchen was also extremely well equipped, which made it easy to feel right at home.We used this as our home base for day trips to both Savannah and Charleston, and it was the perfect location for exploring the area. After a day of sightseeing, it was so nice to come back to such a comfortable and welcoming place.Our whole group really enjoyed our stay, and Beaufort quickly became one of our favorite stops on our trip. We would absolutely stay here again.

This house was so charming! The kitchen was very well stocked. We cooked several meals there and had everything we needed. Oh-and thank you for having wine glasses! Beds were comfortable and I liked the fans in each bedroom. The back yard could be a little better maintained, but it was so hot we stayed indoors most of the time. We did enjoy morning coffee on the front porch.

Great location! Hopefully the heavy construction on nearby roads to replace sewage systems will be complete soon. It made walking to Bay Street, especially with stroller, rather challenging. Not the Host's fault, of course, as it is normally an easy walk to shop's and restaurant's. Very happy with the house!

This home was so inviting and comfortable! They rooms, layout, location were all perfect for our family to stay in while celebrating a Marine Corp graduation. Everything was comfortable, the host was quick to respond to questions, and the location was quiet, walkable, and not too far from base.

This property was built in 1900. An extensive renovation has been completed to update the home and preserve the original features. My husband and I fell in love with Beaufort during his time being stationed in the area. We wanted to keep a piece of this historic town that we love and be able to return to a place that feels like home.
