This beautifully restored downtown cottage exudes history and elegance. The high ceilings and beautiful furnishings makes the home feel spacious and comfortable, despite it’s early 1900’s construction. The beautiful, historic, heart pine floors and classic front porch will transport you into a simpler time, while offering the luxury of modern amenities. The four bedrooms and three baths are perfect for families or groups up to 8 people.

Tranquil Cottage is a short distance away from Bay street shops and art district, as well as the historic Spanish fort and museums. Take a carriage ride just steps away from the house and truly explore the rich history of downtown Beaufort.

The owner understands the flexibility needed for families coming into town for Marine graduations at Parris Island. Please inquiry about the more lenient change/cancellation policy for Marine graduations.

High School Friends

Great house! The pictures shown do not do this house justice. Great layout with 3 bedrooms and another separate room with a trundle bed. It was more than perfect for the 6 of us. Also, an easy walk to Bay Street! We look forward to renting this house again

On Beaufort Time

We came for our son's bootcamp graduation. Spacious, clean, and so close to downtown (less than 10 minutes by foot). The house is old and full of that character. Super easy check in and out. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Convenient Location

Nice decor, clean and comfortable. Convenient to walk to restaurants and the water. A short drive to the grocery store.

Beautiful stay for USMC graduation

Loved the cute house in a quiet neighborhood. It was walking distance to the restaurants and waterfront park. Love the shops on Bat street. We were here for the graduation but wish I could’ve stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable and the place is beautifully decorated and feels like home. And the host is fabulous. Thanks Courtney!

Walkable location for a fun stay!

Courtney is a wonderful host with a charming home. Our group of seven enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, comfortable beds and the layout, original polished wooden floors, plus the high ceilings, views and light streaming in windows.

Convenient location to the historic district

The location to the historic district was perfect for our weekend wedding stay. The bedding is comfortable. We had a glitch with cleaning between stays, but the owner got it worked out. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Beaufort Ladies trip

We were a group of Lady Anglers from all over the Use. We had a wonderful stay in Beaufort. The hose was well appointed and in a great location to downtown.

The walk to downtown was easy and short. It was a wonderful house with lots of natural lighting and the bedrooms and were wonderful. We had an awesome time in Beaufort. Everything was perfect for our family!

This property was built in 1900. An extensive renovation has been completed to update the home and preserve the original features. My husband and I fell in love with Beaufort during his time being stationed in the area. We wanted to keep a piece of this historic town that we love and be able to return to a place that feels like home.
