Enjoy the private heated salt water pool and spa, fish off the dock (you actually catch fish here!), dock your boat, view the sunsets each evening. The Panoramic views of the Gulf from the yard are breathtaking!
Enjoy cooking in our gourmet stocked kitchen or go out to eat at one of the many great spots in Marathon!
2 Kayaks and 3 bikes are included in our rental at no extra cost.
This is a pet-free and non smoking rental. No exceptions.
No Events or Parties. Quiet neighborhood so be respectful of neighbors who come down to enjoy the sound of the birds, palms blowing in the wind and water lapping on the shore. *Kindly keep noise levels to a minimum when outside in the yard.

Outdoor Oasis

The property is perfectly located to enjoy unobstructed views of the Gulf all day long. The pier offers up close views of fish, rays and manatees. Evening stargazing is awe inspiring. The kitchen is well stocked for those that cook. We were able to enjoy the pool and kayaks. The outdoor area is such that you can always find sun or shade, depending on your mood. This is the second year we’ve been here and plan to come back next year.

Great stay

Wonderful stay! This place is very roomy and the back area is beautiful. Lots of greenery. There is shade and sun on many parts of the yard. We especially enjoyed the bikes! PRIVATE! We hope to go back next year.

Beautiful property

We have stayed at this property three times. We love the house, dock and pool! The house is well stocked and wonderfully decorated. It has always been meticulously cleaned. We have appreciation for the care taken with small details that make our trip all the more enjoyable. My only concern was that the pool heater wasn’t working when we arrived. There was a quick response and repair but we could only use the pool for half of our stay. Hoping to return.

Always great

Our 2nd stay at this home. Fantastic location, well laid out, comfortable and clean. Amazing exterior amenities and view. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because there were repeated problems with the pool heater making the water too cold to enjoy it. That said the management and owner did have the pool company out to service but they were unable to resolve the problem completely during our stay.

Perfect Week in Marathon

The house was perfect and it is clear the owner has great attention to detail. Everything is there, and is of high quality. Can’t emphasize how nice it is to have every amenity and to feel like the owner is sharing their home with you, and not just like being at a rental with “rental grade” features. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the sunsets and were greeted with a parade of LEOS satellites. So cool to see more than 25 satellites in 10 min. Pool and accommodations were great and the kitchen was really well fitted out. Lovely piece of paradise and we will return!

Vacation 2024

Was a great week with beautiful weather, caught and saw plenty of fish off of the dock. Rented a boat for the day and docked it at the property while we refreshed and headed back out to amazing views.

Kitchen well stocked. Would have liked the room with the tub/shower water to be warmer. Showers were a bit cool. Everything else was great.

Outside Oasis

The house is updated on the inside with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable eating area and living room. The outside space makes the house. The pool and hot tub are perfect and depending where you want to sit, in the sun, or away, there’s a place for you. The kayaks are super easy to take out and you can head to the mangroves to see fish and birds. They also have bikes along with helmets. We had a minor problem with the whirlpool, called the pool maintenance number we were given and someone was there within 30 minutes. There’s 2 benches at the end of the pier to watch the beautiful sunsets. Warning, bring bug spray, the no-seeums love northerners.

Our top choice in Marathon

This is our second stay at this home. We have rented many homes in Marathon and it’s our favorite. It is the most comfortable home we have rented and has everything we need: a nice heated pool, a dock for fishing, plenty of fish, a huge tv with all kinds of channels including streaming channels, huge living room, fully equipped kitchen, two large bedrooms with king size beds and en suite bathrooms, very conveniently located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, close to pickleball and many good restaurants. What else could one want?

Perfect quiet cozy

Thanksgiving in Marathon!! This property was perfect...plenty of outdoor space with a pool, hot tub, hammock, dock, kayaks, etc. Cozy but spacious inside. Responsive owner. A++ Beautiful home and property....and unforgettable sunsets!

Location and accommodations second to none. Everything you could need is provided on property. Everything is immaculately maintained and in working order. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook like you are at home. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking at a keys vacation.

Wonderful!!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! Stunning sunsets, beautiful trees and plants. The home was very clean and close to shopping, restaurants and many activities. We enjoyed the pool and kayaking. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Family Stay

We loved everything about this property. The dock was a big hit as my family loved to fish. We saw some wonderful creatures and even a manatee from the dock. The property manager was very responsive to an unexpected issue and the situation was taken care of the very next morning. I am checking dates for next year as I would love to visit again.

Amazing!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was perfect, well equipped, the layout was great for two couples and offered privacy while providing places to socialize. The view is absolutely stunning! Very private and quiet, the pool and hot tub were fabulous. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this property! It’s located sort of in the middle of the islands which makes day trips easy. PLENTY of good places to take in local food, drinks, and views! We can’t wait to visit again!

Just what we needed

This was perfect for my teenage boys and us. My 17 year old is most comfortable to be inside reading but pop out on occasion to enjoy some backyard pool and hammock time while my husband and 14 year old loved the dock for fishing. I’m was happy with all of the above!

We first came down to Marathon in 2017 and fell in love with the KEYS instantaneously. It is relaxing, serene and beautiful. We especially enjoy coming down with our kids to regroup as a family; spend time fishing, swimming, going out to eat and just relaxing together. We bought this house in 2019 from my brother and wife who owned and ran Vista Linda since 2011.
