Open, bright, clean and comfortable vacation home. New heated pool!. Across the street from bike path. Less than 200 yards to beautiful beach. Cable and WiFi. Five flat screen TVs. DVDs, board games and books. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach cart and boogie boards available. Corn hole set.. Hot and cold outdoor shower. Charcoal Park grill. Two picnic tables. Fully equipped kitchen . 1 King, 2 queens, 1 bunk bed, 1 single. Baby gate, high chair, pack n play, and toddler size chairs available for families with little ones. Dog bed, food/water bowls for families with fur babies. Iron, ironing board, hair dryer and flat iron available for anyone who wants to challenge the coastal heat and humidity.

Beautiful home & Amazing Location

The house was beautiful. The owner was very responsive to our messages and accommodated us needing a playpen for one of our twins. The kids loved the heated pool at night. Would definitely stay here again!!

The Perfect Beach House!

The house was amazing and only a short walk to the beach. This was our first trip to St. George Island and we plan to make the island and this property our go-to spot for future vacations! The location, the house, the pool and the pet friendly rules were all beyond perfect! Thank you for sharing your home!

Third times the charm!

This was our third time staying on the island and the best home we’ve stayed in yet. You can tell it was put together with families in mind, as it had everything we needed plus extras. Our boys played for hours with the wooden track and loved the bunk beds. I loved all the gates, I’m anxious about water and loved that I was able to feel safe. This is the first home that we’ve stayed in that just felt welcoming. It was very easy to relax and feel at home. The pool is absolutely perfect and bigger than it looks in photos. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this home.

Great location close to the beach and all the right amenities

Very well kept and very easy in and out. There was everything we need. Parking, golf cart the out door shower and fenced yard for our pets was perfect. No issues with size and everything worked.

Beach Vacation

I was impressed with the house! The yard was great for the dogs, and the location was perfect. We could walk across to the beach or ride bikes along the path across the street. Everything was exactly as pictured and described.

SGI Family Retreat

Had a wonderful time in this lovely 4 br home. Everything was super clean, the pool was great and communication with the owner was superb. We would def rent this unit again for our next trip.

Perfect Getaway

This house is perfect for a beach getaway! Very short walk to beach and short drive to the island center with restaurants and stores. The house was very clean and cozy, and well stocked with anything you might need. Our host was also very communicative and provided great details before the stay to help plan and pack.

Fall adventure with friends

There were 4 of us adults and our large dog. We came down to SGI to go to Porchfest and enjoy SGI. This property was great for us - close to the beach, a great yard for our dog, wonderful pool and lovely deck for enjoying coffee and conversation. The weather was perfect and the host was super helpful.

Great place near the beach

The owner was very helpful throughout the renting process. The house is a great place to have dogs and is very close to the beach which is dog friendly.

Great family trip!

We had the opportunity for a last minute trip with my daughter, her husband and my two “granddogs.” This house is perfect for pups - the fenced in area was great! The house was also great for adults - we had plenty of room, the home was clean and the pool was lovely. Walk to the beach was minimal. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful kid, dog, and adult stay

House was great. Pool was wonderful. Everything we needed for the doggie and the toddler. Well stocked. Beach is a short walk. Only 2 “need improvement” items: drawers/cabinets in kitchen have badly peeling laminate (paper) and child/dog gate at top of deck steps is hard to open/close.

Great house for a beach stay with your dog!

Fenced back yard was great for our 2 dogs. Some of the denser parts of the landscaping was a challenge at times as our dogs would like to go into the bushes where we could not see them well. Kitchen is well appointed. Overall we had a great stay!

Fun, Cozy Family Stay

We loved our long weekend at Family Tradition. Laura was a spectacular hostess: lovely and super responsive. The house is beautifully appointed, everything you need for a great gathering. The house is well laid out so feels both spacious and yet cozy. Short walk to the beach and fully equipped with everything you could need. All in all, a wonderful stay.

A great stay!

We had the best week! The house had everything needed it was like being at home away from home. We loved playing corn hole in the evenings. The kitchen was very well stocked for all our cooking needs! The walk to the beach was so easy with the access right across in front of the house. We hope to be back very soon!

Spring 2022 on St. George Island, FL

Terrific pet friendly house. Great back yard with lots of shade and plenty of room for our fur babies to run around. Inside the house had ample room for the 5 adults. The bay side of island was perfect for watching the sunset.

My grandmother was one of a handful of full time residents on St. George Island when she purchased property in the 1950s. The first trips I made to the island were via ferry boat. Sometime following my grandmother's death, her house was sold.
In 1993 my mother purchased the house that I now own. My grandchildren are the fifth generation of our family to fall in love with St. George Island.
