Espléndida casa de campo con mucho encanto y carácter, ubicada en una ubicación única, apartada y tranquila, con magníficas vistas del océano y las montañas, a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad.

Una sala de estar, una estufa de leña, una gran cocina, 1 habitacione dobles con aire acondicionado. 1 baño contiguo y 1 aseos.
Esta villa y su piscina se encuentran en un parque arbolado donde florecen todas las esencias de árboles y arbustos del ALGARVE.
En su jardín se codea con raras rosas, agaves y árboles frutales.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, authentic, and very peaceful accommodation in Monchique. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the quieter side of the Algarve, away from the busy tourist areas. At the same time, it’s a great base for exploring both the Serra de Monchique and the spectacular rocky coastline of the Algarve. We felt very comfortable here and would happily stay again.

From the moment we booked communication was great the booking was easy, The description about the villa and pool was correct.The stay was peaceful quite and the views are some of the best in the Algarve. The garden was very nice the pool was in the sun all day till start of evening, The pool was clean and tidy and was plenty big enough. Not a negative but some cars may struggle with the drive but saying that there was a parking place half way down the drive. The kitchen was well fitted and equipped. We would return, we loved it

Cosy and authentic house on a beautiful and private location. The pool is great and well maintained. Very welcoming hosts and friendly communication during the stay. Highly recommended if you like to explore the Algarve from west to east.

Perfect location, so peaceful and private but only five minutes drive to the supermarket! Beautiful, well equipped villa and an amazing pool and seating area.Cannot speak highly enough of this villa!

We stayed during September, when temperatures reached the early to mid-30sC.There were a few issues. We found ants on the kitchen work surfaces, so everything had to be kept in the fridge. Insect screens on the windows, and the front door, would be useful.The bed linen wasn't great. White sheets would look much nicer than the coloured, mismatched bedding, which appeared rather tatty. However, the bed was very comfortable.The bedroom air-conditioning unit is noisy, making it difficult to sleep with it switched on. Given the high temperatures, this was a problem. The poolside furniture also needs replacing, as it is worn and some items are broken.A few provisions could be improved. Two bin bags are not enough for a week, while the toilet and kitchen rolls were poor quality. A small welcome pack, perhaps including Monchique water, coffee pods for the machine, and local wine or beer, would be a lovely touch.Despite this, we had a wonderful stay. The house is old, charming and full of character. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom shower is excellent. Location is perfect, a few minutes’ drive from Monchique. It is quiet, relaxing and secluded, with outstanding views and a wonderful sense of privacy. The private pool was fabulous and lovely to return to after a day out.We enjoyed evenings on the terrace, barbecuing, stargazing and watching the lizards.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. With a few simple improvements this could be an exceptional place to stay.

It was a pleasure to have you as our guests. Constructive feedback is always appreciated, and we are very happy to hear that you plan to return to our lovely spot in the mountains. Indeed, we are planning to renovate the house this winter, as well as update the indoor and outdoor furniture and equipment, including the air conditioning. A welcome pack with local products is also being considered, although we already provide essentials like olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Regarding the ants, we always leave ant traps and powder in the house for guests to use if needed. Unfortunately, as we are in the countryside, it is difficult to fully control them as they often come in through open doors and windows. We would love to welcome you back to see all the improvements! Beautiful villa

Slice of Heaven

This is the best place to stay in Portugal. The home has everything you need with a wonderful view of the valley and the sea. The host is most accommodating and helpful. We truly intend to return.

Lovely peaceful villa surrounded by beautiful countryside. very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished. We loved our stay here and enjoyed explorin and walking in the surrounding area. the pool is fantastic and wonderful to come back to and cool off after a good walk. thank you

Beautiful house in superb location

The house is located in the picturesque environment of Monchique. The views are amazing, the house is charming and well equipped and the garden with a great swimming pool is very relaxing. Communication was excellent. Highly recommended!

Couples Weekend Escape

We needed a quiet recharging holiday and it was fantastic! Pascal was very responsive, the host was very attentive and the property was exceptional. Very snug in winter and we enjoyed lots of fires and cooking together. We will definitely be back! Thank you

nice guesthouse in Monchique

A very nice guesthouse near Monchique and very quiet. Also very good for the winter saison (fireplace!) Big garden area with orange trees. Big pool, unfortunatly too cold für us in December. If you want to hide from tourist places at the south coast, that´s a nice compromise in the mountains.

Lovely property

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and the villa's size, equipment and location surpassed any expectations. Our meeting up with the Villa manager was simple and Eulalia was always happy to help. Only mistake was not booking the wonderful villa for longer !

A beautiful cottage in lovely gardens

A lovely authentic cottage in pretty gardens. A gem to find a rural property within walking distance of good restaurants. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Useful to know... If you arrive after 9pm, all the supermarkets/shops are closed, so get the basics you need or want for the night and first thing in the morning, such as water/coffee/milk before you leave the airport. The pool is a great size with lovely views. The Monchique area is delightful. A lovely holiday.

Perfect for a quiet holiday with choice of local restaurants and lovely walks.

This is such a lovely place. Peaceful and relaxing with a great pool and fabulous mature but well kept garden. The house has everything you need and is spotlessly clean and larger than the pictures suggest. Several of the local restaurants are just a walk away and the town has a relaxed vibe and is certainly not ‘touristy’. Being able to go for walks from the doorstep into the hills around us was fantastic. Pascal and Eulália were lovely hosts and extremely helpful. Would definitely return here.
