This beautifully appointed Sparrow Pond cottage features a picturesque sunroom overlooks the lagoon and you can view the ocean in the far distance, and watch the boats pass by. The fully equipped and updated kitchen with island seating is open to the main living areas. The spacious living room offers a beautifully furnished space that feels like home, and boasts a nice TV for movie nights, while the intimate dining area makes every meal feel special.

The deck back at the back of the cottage, overlooks the lagoon and distant ocean view, where you can take in the ocean breezes and catch a beautiful sunrise. Enjoy the peaceful outdoor surroundings from the large wraparound side deck, offering dining table and seating for 6.

Two of the three bedrooms boast King beds and each of the spacious bedrooms has its own private bathroom, updated with tile showers.
Bedroom 1: The Sand Dollar Suite, King bed, TV, Private Bathroom w/Tiled Oversized Walk-in Shower.
Bedroom 2: The Sea Star Suite, King bed, TV, Deck Access, Private Bathroom w/Tiled Walk-in Shower.

All Sparrow Pond Cottages are stand alone cottages, situated in West Beach Village, are a short walk to the beach, and in close proximity to bike and walking paths, as well as many of Kiawah’s most treasured sights and activities.

Great location. Comfortable cottage.

My wife, two adult children and their spouses spent an enjoyable week at this clean, convenient and well-appointed cottage. We are long-time Kiawah vacationers, having first visited almost 30 years ago. My daughterssaid they liked this unit better than other places we've stayed

Lovely Kiawah Cottage!

We just spent a weekend here and were very pleased! The cottage is nicely updated and had everything we needed. The location is great....just a short walk to the beach and pool. The manager was very accommodating and helpful.

Great & Beautiful

We had a great time at this house with its views of the ocean! It was bright & clean and very close to the beach & pool. We shopped at the Freshfields, rode bikes & took and rented a boat during our stay! It was wonderful and will be back.

Perfect week!

We have been coming to Kiawah for years...the Sparrow Pond Cottages are in the best location! Such a quick bike ride to everything or a quick walk to the beach. 1005 has everything you could ever think to need during a visit and our entire family felt completely at home the whole week! We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Kiawah!

Great stay

The cottage was great. It was clean, organized, great towels and a stocked kitchen. We were close to the beach and community pool. Also if you rent bikes you can bike to freshfields for coffee, lunch or dinner. Susie was wonderful to work with. We will return.

Stylish comfortable west beach cottage at Kiawah

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage near the Cougar Point golf course and beach. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes. It is an easy ride to town since the Sparrow Pond cottages are the first turn after the gate. It was very comfortable for 4 adults. Susie was a great help throughout our stay!

Great location. Nice place

My kids and I stayed here for a week. The location was perfect. We enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing week. The washer and dryer are new and work awesome. The kitchen is nice. The master bath is fabulous but all 3 bathrooms and showers are nice. We would stay again. Clean, nice and awesome location.

Inviting and Immaculate

We had a terrific stay at this well kept and well stocked cottage! An easy walk to the beach, pool and Cougar Point, it’s a great West Beach rental. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable with a lovely view. We also enjoyed the grill and deck area and also appreciated the bike rack behind the cottage. Susie was also great!

Cozy house with nice sight

Our family with two teenagers enjoyed very well the stay in this cozy, well equipped house. The beach was great, where we could ride a bike, run and walk together. The shallow waterfront is amazing and our children could use our inflatable boat too. The location is nice, safe, silent and not crowded. We recommend this house honestly for everyone.

Perfect Accommodations for our family.

Perfect accommodations for our two families and older sons. The kitchen was well stocked and even had a few spices in the cabinet. Beautifully decorated. It also had a little area off the living room for those that didn't want to watch the tv. A large deck was also a great place to hang out. Nice area. A short walk to the beach.

Really nice Property

Super nice home, very well decorated / updated. Close to beach, close to Fresh Fields town area at front of Kiawah. Only complaint was roof light into bedroom really bright in early morning. TV's need HD for clearer viewing. Overall a really great stay.

Nice house in a good location

Overall the house was very nice. Beautiful view out back! The kitchen could use some updates but nice to have a clean updated refrigerator and Keurig. Susie was a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful and responsive to any requests.

Perfect Vacation

Our family (6 of us) really enjoyed this property. The home was beautiful and fit us perfectly. I didn’t realize until we got there that there is an ocean view! The neighborhood is quiet and low key. We enjoyed the bike rides, shaded walks to the beach, and the over all feel of Kiawah. Thank you for sharing your home! We hope to be back next year!

Stay at Thrasher Court

Great house. Lovely, comfortable and well equipped . Very clean and very nicely decorated . Deck was wonderful with great view of lagoon . Well located, close to beach, quiet and peaceful. Very responsive and helpful contact person. She was wonderful . Had a great time and would definitely consider booking again in the future . Saw some great birds from the deck .

Modern and Exquisite

Everything was in incredible order at this Kiawah Gem. We are a family of 5 with three young kids. The house is on a cul-de-sac at West Beach. The kids had a great time safely biking in the neighborhood and down to the beach and pool. The pool and beach are a 2 minute walk...... with little ones. Great stay. Thanks Kiawah by Owner.

Lovely Property

The neighborhood was private, quiet & beautiful; the home itself lovely, spotless, comfortable, & included all necessities. We 3 did have to stagger our showers to have sufficient warm water, & we found & eliminated 3 Palmetto bugs by the end of the week. All things considered, we would rent it again.

Perfect Family Cottage

We will definitely be returning to this property. It had everything we needed for our family. We have been renting houses in South Carolina for years (Kiawah, Seabrook, Pawleys) and this was among the best maintained and stocked house we've stayed in. The location is very quiet, yet a short distance to the beach and pool. It has a great sunroom to relax in the afternoons and the patio / grill were great for evening dinners. Susie was a piece of cake to deal with and was very communicative throughout the prep and stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect week in Kiawah

We truly had such a lovely week at this cottage with our two girls. The home is so nicely decorated and in such great condition. My husband is a chef and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The beds are so comfortable and the master bathroom was a nice surprise. The cottage is a short bike ride from the beach and we got in the habit of taking the nature path home to spy alligators and deer. Susie Oringel is a wonderful property manager. She responded to all my questions immediately. Will recommend to family and friends without hesitation!

.Sparrow Pond cottage

The master bedroom has a skylight window above the bed. This makes it difficult to sleep with a bright moon or early sunrise. The oven is also very small. We had a problem with a swarming flying ant infestation the first couple of days but when we notified the property manager an exterminator quickly resolved the issue. We enjoyed the view from the sunroom overlooking the pond.

Awesome Rental!

This was our fourth time to Kiawah and favorite rental! The cottage had a third bathroom which was why we chose it. There was plenty of space for 6 of us! The third bathroom was really nice to have. This home was beautiful! The furniture was comfortable and had plenty of living area seating. The beds were very comfortable as well. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was a really big pantry room where we could keep all of our extra bags, drinks and food. There was a front porch that wrapped around to the back of the house and had a large table and nice grill. There was a beautiful back sitting room and the view was amazing!! Right on a lagoon and the ocean could be viewed in the background! Susie was great to work with, in fact, we ended up deciding to leave 4 days early due to a tropical storm and Susie worked with us to get some of our payment back. We did not expect that we would, but it was very appreciated, as we hated to have to make that decision. This is a great location, and a beautiful home with so much room! We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!!

In 2007, a friend on nearby Seabrook Island asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner.
