This is a Premium unit and the only 4br Condo at Phoenix X!! Come relax on the spacious 15th floor balconies with breathtaking views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master with private balcony access and marble countertop in the master bath! A King bed in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms and a Queen sized bunk bed in the 4th bedroom. There are also two sofa sleepers in the living room that allow sleeping for up to 14. This unit has been completely updated to include a large upscale kitchen with custom cabinetry. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in the fabulous kitchen. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!

Phoenix X is one of the most popular condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.

There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your bbqing.

I would definitely rent again

Very nice accommodations!

The condo was very nice. There are a few maintenance issues. The handles on 3 bathroom faucets didn't work properly. Needs more hooks throughout the house for towels and swimsuits. A few kitchen drawers were broken. The pools and property were very clean and nice!

Accurate description of property.

There were some maintenance issues, but very minute. The room definitely needs to be updated, but the location was perfect. Walking distance to several restaurants and music venue. Beach was not over crowded. Everything you need for a weekday is there.

Perfect place for adults

Great place for adults. The private beach is nice you dont have to worry about people bothering you. If there were any kids there then they were in the indoor pool. Great place for a family or friend get together and the room was big enough for 10 people. There are 7 beds 2 of them are bunk beds but it was a great place to stay. Just make sure you wear a wristband the condo is security is strict.

Break

The property was as described. The complex amenities were as described. The lack of supervision at the indoor pool in the evening with teenagers was too much. Teenagers were rude used foul language and took over, we could not stay with our 4 year old. We did go to front desk with no luck. Could not locate any parents for those teenagers.

Five stars in all categories. Spacious. Clean. Well equipped. Kids loved the indoor pool and the lazy river. Family friendly.

At least it’s beachfront…

The space was good for a larger group but the condo wasn’t clean in the slightest. Electrical hazards and mold in the showers, no bathtub faucets in the master bath, sand still in the beds and on the floors and furniture, dirty counters, used bars of soap left in the bathrooms….instead of dropping our stuff and going out to enjoy the beach, we spent a good hour cleaning enough to make it not feel so nasty. TV remotes also didn’t have batteries. Had we have booked this for longer than a 3-day trip, we would have demanded a new unit. Honestly shouldn’t have to pay a cleaning since it clearly wasn’t cleaned prior to our stay and we left it in better condition than when we arrived.

Great Unit!

Disappointed

We were a group of 8 friends that stayed for 4 nights. This condo is marketed as a 4-bedroom 4 bath condo. Upon entering we discovered that it actually is NOT 4 bedrooms because the "bedroom" they are saying is the 4th bedroom is really not a bedroom at all. It doesn't have a closet and therefore it is NOT a bedroom. There was a dresser in that bunk bedroom but nowhere to hang any clothes. Also, we had to pay cleaning fee with VRBO but the condo was not clean. There was dust all in the vent in the laundry room and on the fan in the master bedroom and one other bedroom. The towels were very worn out and need to be replaced. We contacted the host to ask if they could come to the unit to fix the TV in one of the rooms and was told that maintenance would be there that night or first thing the next morning. But no one ever came. The bin to the ice maker had a hole in it and we had to put a pot under that shelf to catch the ice. After paying over $2600 to rent we thought this would be an exceptional unit. The location was exceptional, but the condo was not!

Family trip

We loved this property but there were a couple things that needed to be addressed. When we tried to run the dishwasher before we left it wouldn't work. The sofa beds (2) were both broken and couldn't be used. The dishwasher had dishes in it from the previous stay and they were dirty so I'm guessing the washer was broken already. Coffee pot had old coffee in it when we checked in. The 2nd king size bed was broken. I just thought those few things needed to be addressed.

Needs a deep clean!

LOTS OF THICK BLACK MOLD around and on top of refrigerator and range hood. Mold in showers and faucet handles. Cockroaches! Carpet in bedroom dirty, old and falling apart. Front desk friendly. Great location. I rented a 3bdrm unit as well, not through vrbo, it was nice and what you would expect.

condo needs work

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Many lights out, speaker hanging from ceiling, curtain rod falling, walls patched and not painted, hole in bathtub. Reached out to management right away and stated that it would be taken care of next day, never got worked on. additionally, one sliding door was impossible to open, dryer took 3 rounds to dry, and many other things that needed updating in this condo. Location of course was perfect and the ocean is always wonderful to look at. This condo fit us all comfortably and we had an overall amazing time in Orange Beach.

Condo was expansive, views were spectacular.

We had everything we needed to suit our needs. Everything worked, all the equipment was there. Linens were very nice and plentiful. Elevators are slow and not so good shape, but we made that a running joke with the other renters, and the condo owner is not responsible for them, so can’t fault him. We loved the condo.

Excellent Room With A Great View!

Friends weekend

Kitchen/Living room is a nice size for a group. Bedding is very worn and in need of updating. Kitchen was poorly stocked, only about 3 spoons in utensil drawer. 4th bedroom is VERY small, with a Queen size bunkbed, best for children, not a great option for an adult couple.
