Enjoy your stay in Rockford and let the kids (or inner kid in you) relax in the game room with Air Hockey, Pool Table and Foosball. Just want to relax, then sit back in our comfy living room. Want some outdoor space? The yard is large and there is a covered rear porch in case it rains and a charcoal grill (and tools)

You will have access to the entire house and yard.

I live in town and am only a phone call away in case you have a maintenance issue or are looking for a great place to eat or enjoy some other activity.

The Neighborhood
This home is in a residential area but still close to all many amenities.
I would love to recommend a place to eat or an activity while you are in town. (Chicago Blackhawks minor league hockey club plays in Rockford in season). Also festivals, art, theater, or a Beer and a shot bar, we have them all.

Getting Around
Parking can be in the garage, in the drive or on the street in front of the house. City Bus service is nearby and the Rockford Airport is only a 12 minute drive away.

Other Things to Note
Rockford has lots to do, both sporting , outdoors, shopping, or cultural. Just ask and we can point you in the right direction.

Loved the game room

Our family of six stayed here for three nights. We liked the number of bedrooms and the great game room downstairs. The quiet neighborhood was great for walking our dog.

Just as good the second time!

We stayed at Tim’s home two years ago for a family reunion. It worked out so well we rented it again on our recent trip back to Rockford. Tim is an excellent host and we had absolutely no problems. Great location for us!

Nice property

You can tell it’s an older home and it smelled a little like an older home. However, it served our purpose and didn’t break the bank. My family loved the game room and there was adequate room to spread out. I would recommend this property to anyone with a family looking to stay in Rockford.

Family of 6 plus the doggo vacation

We stayed for 17 nights at this property and it was very nice. The kids loved the basement game room. Having space for all the kids always great. Being able to do our laundry was extremely helpful. Plenty of room for our local family to come and visit us. The home was very comfortable.

Excellent

This was the perfect place for a guys weekend spent golfing!!! I stay at a lot of VRBO’s and this home had the most amenities I have seen. Coffee, spices etc. We needed to buy very little extra things for our meals.. Highly recommended this home for a stay in Rockford!!

Decent little place close to most everything

Stayed here with my family, place was decent but worth the price. Needs updating in so many ways, but is cheap and close to a lot of stuff.

nice place to stay

The house could use a good deep clean. The Bed linen and towels were clean. Plenty for my family of 7 to use. The game room was ok. I had to get the spider webs out before my grandson would play in it! Check in was easy. Living area and kitchen roomy and nice. AC worked great. Back yard was beautiful. Overall, it was good. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay for visiting family.

Came to rockford for visiting family. This house was perfect for that. Cozy back porch nice yard for my dog. Definitely will be back when we visit again. Tim is a wonderful host.

Great location

This home was perfectly situated as a rest point during busy family reunion activities. The back patio was a perfect place for morning coffee and breakfast. We had no time for the activity room but it would be great for adults and kids alike.

Owner is great with communication

I came up to visit family who lived nearby. It was myself and my two children. The owner was fabulous to communicate with, he was very prompt! Responded almost immediately answered all of my questions. I highly recommend renting from this owner. The house has plenty of space, we loved the games he offered downstairs. The backyard had plenty of space for the kids to run around.

Quick Stay

This was our 5th time staying at this property, as always it was a great stay. Had a minor issue that Tim resolved in a timely manner. If you have various devices on your stay, I suggest that you bring power strip(s) and if you enjoy video entertainment, bring your streaming device.

family vacation

We all had a good time in Tim's house. The game room was a hit with the kids. Big back yard for them to run around in was a plus. It's an older house and was pretty clean and very spacious. The TV in the basement doesn't work at all but upstairs TV was fine. It was close to town and we had fun at all the museums and parks. All in all was a very good rental and we would go again.

Wedding Collection

It was perfect for our family to have a place to gather ina and around wedding festivities. Close to restaurants and shopping. Clean! Comfortable! We felt at home immediately!
