Great getaway

We had a wonderful trip. The house is very room and in a great location. So much to do so close by. I would definitely recommend this place to others

We had a wonderful week in Maine. Our hosts, Susan and Stephen, were welcoming, kind, and gracious. Their home is perfect for two families to share or for a family with grown children. Close to all amenities!

Wonderful Maine Vacation

Property is true to description. Great for large families. Great deck and backyard. Short drive to Dock Square and beaches.

Nice home, Great Area, All ammenities, Great People!!

House was great, functional, clean, location great. Close to downtown, beaches, shops, golf, restaurants. Susan and Steve were fantastic hosts, accomodating, friendly, excellent and responsive. Only a phone call away. We would like to go back.again. Happy Trails!!

Great home in Kennebunkport

Very well laid out. Amenities were extremely well thought out and executed really well. Hosts were really friendly and took a lot of time to make sure we were comfortable and secure.

Very cozy, very clean. Amazing stay!

From the moment we walked in it was very inviting. The owner had left us a very nice welcoming gift basket. The location is perfect. You aren’t far from anything. The house is very easy to find. We enjoyed grilling steaks on the outside deck. This house had everything you need for a wonderful vacation.

A house with lots of room for us, our daughter and grandson, who had their own private area. The owners made sure we had everything we needed.

July 2022 Trip

The location of this house was excellent. It was a quick 5 minute drive to both Goose Rock Beach and Dock Square. The house itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor shower was great for coming in from the beach. The hosts were kind enough to leave us a welcome basket with an easy dinner and quick breakfast. Our family of six enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again for next summer.

Maine Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Porpoise. The house is as described. The main part of the house is on the second floor and is accessed by stairs, while the ground level has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a family room. The place was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We met the hosts when we arrived, and they were accommodating and helpful. They also left us a welcome basket of goodies. I would recommend this as a vacation home for families.

Home Away From Home

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The owners made us feel so welcome and left a wonderful basket of breakfast and dinner goodies to enjoy. We can't say enough about this home. The house was immaculate and included a kitchen that was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were super comfortable and the owners supplied all bed linens and towels. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you Susan and Steve for your hospitality. Pat & Dave

Great week in Kennebunkport

The owners met us and walked us through the house so that we were familiar with everything right away. The house was very clean and comfortable. We never had any issues in the house. It was in a great location for us bc we went to enjoy the southern Maine coast beaches. And they were beautiful. On the way out, the owners met us to see if we had any issues with the house and say goodbye. I would return every year if I could. Thank you again.

Very nice house and is as described. The hosts were fantastic. The location of the house was perfect for both Kennebunkport and Cape Porpoise. Very nice open floor plan and nice decks to enjoy cooking outside. My one small complaint is there is no Air Conditioning in the main living areas..( only 2 upstairs bedrooms have window units). We did get an unusually very hot week for this area which made for some stuffy nights but I’m sure that this was an anomaly. It was great for the beach though which this house is very close to!!Overall, a great stay and great hosts… would recommend highly.

Great location. Perfect for a family. Owners are very accommodating. Highly recommended!

The Lamb property is perfect for two families as there is an upstairs and downstairs. Our granddaughter LOVED being a short drive away from Goose Rocks Beach as it is the most kid friendly beach in the Kennebunkport area. The home is quiet and relaxing and yet a short walking distance away from Cape Porpoise which has great restaurants, a wonderful market and a cafe that parallels Whole Foods with ready made food. The town of Kennebunkport is a short drive away as is Ocean avenue where the Bush compound is located. The house has an outdoor shower so the sand never gets into the house. The Lambs provided beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Downstairs is a large TV that works well with Netflix and Disney movies. The barbeque on the upstairs patio is also a great addition. I especially appreciated the Lamb's generosity in returning a pair of Cole Haan boots that I inadvertently left under our bed. That was above the call of duty. The only suggestion I would make is to improve the downstairs mattress in the corner bedroom for 70 year old backs, and install a couple more window air conditioners upstairs. Other than that the house was wonderful. I'd return again with our daughter's family. Thank you for your hospitality!

Thanks Laurie, Your family were all great guests. We really appreciate the feedback! About that queen mattress in one of the downstairs bedrooms, it's a "pillow top" and I'm not crazy about it either, which is why it migrated from our bedroom to a guest room the week after I bought it. I was thinking that some folks like them, but now that you've mentioned it, we will probably replace it with something firmer this fall. Thanks for the input! Steve's already on getting a 2nd AC for the guest room upstairs. You are invited back anytime!

The house was just as listed and was perfect for our family of 5. Even with the warmer weather, the first floor was very comfortable and the AC in the bedrooms were perfect for the night. We would definitely stay at the house again.

Great place, great location, great hosts!

We had a great stay! The house is clean, roomy, and convenient location for Kennebunkport downtown and beaches. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Convenient location

We found the house to be exactly as described so it totally met our expectations. It is very convenient home base for day trips. The grill on the deck is awesome. Lawn space was big enough for us to play lawn games. We did bring our bikes but found the road too narrow , hilly and windy and too much traffic for our comfort since we are not avid bikers so we didn’t use our bikes. I would say that the house would benefit from a dehumidifier in the lower level. The tv area does not comfortably accommodate many people. Realistically 3 but we did crowd in 6 of us by laying on the floor. That’s probably it’s biggest shortcoming since we like to watch tv together at night as a family after being out all day. Overall very satisfied.

Kennebunkport Experience

This home was just right for our family summer vacation. There are several beaches in the area and the back roads are wonderful for walking or biking. The house is roomy and laid out well for our group of eight. Kennebunkport area is a quaint and charming area to wander around and much more low key and quieter than Old Orchard.
