Right on the beach! Family friendly all newly renovated. Hardwood floors, huge gas fireplace, 60 inch flat screen TV, Wifi, gas BBQ, gas patio heater, new patio furniture. Two kayaks waiting to paddle to Quadra Island. Kitchen and living room overlooking the Georgia Strait, eagles, porpoises and cruise ships. Cross the front lawn and three steps down to beach. Five minute drive to Willow Point and ten minute drive to Campbell River. Fire pit for marshmallow roasting. Master bedroom has king size bed , 60 inch flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom. Second bedroom has bunkbeds and downstairs room has bunkbeds. Pull out couch sleeps two. Other duplex side available if wanting to rent for 5 more people. Basketball hoops on front driveway. Thirty minute drive to Mt. Washington ski hill. Long term discounts available. Paradise!

Relaxing stay on the beach

This property is right on the water. There are chairs to sit and enjoy their beautiful garden and the water. They had kayaks we used to go out and explore and even saw some dolphins one day. We cooked a few meals at the rental and there is ample cookware to use. We hope to visit Vancouver Island again and would stay here again.

Beach Front Getaway

The location is wonderful. We enjoyed sitting and looking at the ocean, kayaking, watching cruise ships etc. We were disappointed by the cleanliness of the place. Given how much you must pay in cleaning fees, we did not expect to find pieces of broken glass on the kitchen floor and thick layers of dust. Also, it is worth considering that this is a duplex and you are ultimately sharing your vacation with whoever is staying next door. When we were there this consisted of two families and three large dogs. The adjoining door is not soundproof so you can hear every word of their conversation. Also, when they are standing at their BBQ they are looking right in your living room window. The outdoor area is open to both units.

Second time renting

This was the second time I rented this home , with the same friends, and it certainly did not disappoint. Everything we needed was there and in perfect shape. We are hoping to come back next year. Thank you Allison and George.

Million-Dollar Views, Five-Dollar Cleanliness: A Scenic Stay with a Dusty Twist

We recently stayed at this rental property, and while the views were nothing short of spectacular, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The panorama of the mountains and the serene views of the water were the highlights of our stay, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, the inside of the property told a different story. Thick layers of dust covered nearly every surface, making it clear that cleaning hadn't been a priority for quite some time. The floors were grimy and in dire need of a thorough mopping. To top it off, there was mould in the window sills, which was both unsightly and concerning for health reasons. It's a shame because with a little attention to cleanliness, this property could easily be a five-star rental. If you're someone who can look past the dirt to enjoy the stunning views, you might still have a pleasant stay. But for those who value cleanliness, this might not be the best choice. Here's hoping the management takes these issues seriously and gives this beautiful property the care it deserves.

Majestic stay

We lived the views and all the amenities you need were available. The stairs were a challenge for my elderly mom (83 years old) but we loved our stay! The beds were so comfortable, we had the best sleep! The view and sitting on waterfront was the best part of our stay! ❤️❤️❤️

Golf Weekend

Once again an outstanding stay. Owners were and are very accommodating and prompt to reply to questions or requests. The beach views are million dollar views. Only 5 minutes to Storey Creep golf course. Can’t wait to return

Ocean Getaway

All in all a great getaway for sisters’ birthdays. Fabulous view! If you’re a light sleeper earplugs would be useful because of highway proximity but that was really the only issue we had. Everything was as advertised, clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Perfectly peaceful

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely vacation suite. We had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. The view of the ocean and the morning sunrise made this a most peaceful and relaxing getaway. We would love to come back.

Lack of cleanliness should NOT happen.

The property was set on a beautiful on beach which offered amazing changing views everyday. As a frequent user of VRBO and a rental property owner in Florida’s west coast I was quite disappointed with how unsanitary, and dirty this rental was left for our arrival. Light switches, fans, railings were covered in dirt and potential germs. Dust and grit were on many surfaces especially in corners and under furniture. We had to wipe all areas down and vacuum. Not how we anticipated starting our trip. Otherwise it was in a great location that allowed us to have great adventures everyday.

Golf Getaway

Another great stay. Views were outstanding and house had everything we needed for a hassle free weekend. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Highly recommended place to stay in Campbell River.

With 3 different couples, you need to know that the second bathroom was not on either bedroom level. With quantities of small decorations on ALL the flat surfaces, it made it hard to come in and utilize for your own travel necessities

Beautiful view

This was an easy place to stay from check in to check out as well as the organization of the home. The view over the water was just beautiful. We enjoyed having morning coffee and evening dinner watching the water, wildlife and ferries. Filled with art and collected treasures, this property felt like home and was a great base for our family to visit beaches, Campbell River and Comox.

Great time had by all

I put in that the check in at a 3. We rented both sides of the duplex, one side for three adults, the other for a family of five (four adults) and one child. The key code was mixed up. My daughter arrived first and settled into what we were told was the accommodation for five although it only had two bedrooms. When we arrived we had three bedrooms so she had to repack her stuff and move to the other side of the duplex. Certainly not a big deal but being as you asked.

We saw dolphins!

We loved the water view out back, where on our last day we saw dozens of dolphins feeding for hours. Delightful! Nicely located close to Campbell River—whale watching & the Museum. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much.

Great family getaway

Our family appreciated the views from the cozy living room and well-appointed kitchen. The beach-side firepit was perfect for watching the moonrise. The light sleepers in our group noticed the road noise but overall this was a fantastic location for enjoying the seascape and wildlife - saw porpoises twice in 2 days!

Husbands 50th Surprise

The boys had a great time! The open area was the perfect setting for a birthday surprise. Beautiful view for coffee in the mornings! The only "less-positive" thing they had to say was it was a little farther from town then they would have liked - but that's because the ran out of drinks and couldn't walk that far! :)

Super appointed accommodations

We had a group of 5 of us up mountain biking and salmon fishing out of Campbell River for 3 days and this was a perfect setup - location, # of beds, secure storage for our bikes, loved the kayaks and beautiful views, with great Weber barbeque, and last but not least, super well appointed with pots, pans, cooking attire, board games, etc. and huge TV in the living room to enjoy. We will definitely stay here in the future if coming back to the area. A call out to the very timely responses on communications and guidance from our hosts.
