Hummingird Road Cabins is located in the heart of Southern Illinois Wine Country, just off the beaten path. Down a quiet road with the beauty of Southern Illinois and the Shawnee National Forest surrounding us.
Whether you need a quiet getaway for the weekend with no hassles, or just a place to sleep after touring Southern Illinois Wine Country, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Hummingbird Road Cabin offers a quiet place in the woods to enjoy Southern Illinois from, or just stay on the property and enjoy catching some fish in the pond. We have 23 acres of woods to walk around in as well, with much wildlife around. Deer, owls, hummingbirds, squirrels, woodpeckers and eagles are just some of the wildlife we our often blessed with.

Comfort: At Hummingbird Road Cabin, we want you to feel at home, and that means being comfortable where you are. This is a rural area, very quiet, in the woods, if that sounds good to you then please come check us out. I live across the pond on the hill, if there is something you are missing or if we can do more to make your stay a better one, please let us know.

Customer Relations: At HummingBird Road Cabins, our highest priority is satisfied customers. You are important to us and you can expect us to go the extra mile for your business. Enjoyed our 50th anniversary there. Great place to stay if you just want to unwind fishing was great and enjoyed the hot tub.

Cozy cabin with all the necessities. Pond was full of fish...couple big ones!! We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a day full of hiking. Great place if your looking for relaxation in nature!!

We have been coming to the Hummingbird Cabin twice a year for several years now. It’s the best place to kick back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Geloria is the perfect host, and visiting with her is always a highlight of our trip.

Our stay was wonderful! The property was serene and absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was great and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Our favorite place to stay! The porch was great. The pond fountain was very relaxing and so beautiful at night. We will definitely go back for another stay.

This property is stunning! Surrounded by wildlife, quiet and relaxed. The pond sounds day and night make for a peaceful retreat. The host was kind and gracious. The property is exactly as described and the photos are current. We enjoyed making forever memories with our grandchildren.

Thanks for the nice place to stay. Enjoyed it.
