Tranquil country break

My husband and I loved our restful time at Cedar Sunset Cabins! The jacuzzi and the beautiful views across the valley were the highlights of the stay for us. Thank you to Brystal & family for their wonderful hospitality. I highly recommend their cabin for a tranquil country break!

Fantastic Quiet Cabin

This truly is a magical find. My lady and I stayed for a 3 day weekend, and it was amazing. We cannont wait to cone back and stay for another great weekend.

Perfect Pre Holiday Get Away

We had the most relaxing time in this loverly cabin in the woods. The host was very good at communicating and the cabin was full of charm, very clean, and has all the amenities we needed for a perfect pre holiday get away. We will definitely be back!

Great cabin

I brought my girlfriend here for a romantic getaway weekend. We really enjoyed the hot tub and making dinner on the outdoor grill. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. While there, we spent time at multiple wineries and the Garden of the Gods.

No WiFi

Did not stay. SO far no refund on any of my 4 non-nights. I always do work-vaca's.... But no internet onsite. No mention of it on the booking page. I have stayed at MANY places and not once in the last 5 years have I encountered no WiFi. I think that would be worth mentioning in the listing title.

Time away for two

Quiet Area with plenty to view. Lovely place that felt like home. Owners took the extra steps to help with firewood. We were able to move from the warm fire into the warm hot tub and cabin. Clean spacious cabin. Overall great experience for the two of us.

Most Relaxing place w kids that like outdoors

Clean, not too close to anyone else's cabin, but if u want 2 cabins there is one w in walking distance. They have a nice sized pond that you can fish in (catch and release). The hot tub was great, you could even turn the temp down since it was warm outside. The bar bq is charcoal (they had lighter fluid there, i dont know if they usually supply that or not... I did have to go get charcoal, but wasnt a big deal, was going into Anna to Amish store anyway). You are pretty much on the wine trail.. had kids w me so didnt do that but Star view (i think was the name of it) wasnt far at all! We went to the Bison farm (if you go during week call 1st, brochure was at cabin, especially if you want to purchase meat). We got hot dogs from there and roasted them over the fire pit, were amazing!

Summer Getaway

Overall good experience. Limited linens available for the kitchen. Only left with 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for a 3.5 day stay. Nothing really that close by to purchase additional.

One suggestion

Everything was perfect. The only suggestion I would make was to have a wall mirror in one of bedrooms. Then the other lady and myself could have fixed our hair at same time.

Wyatt's cabin was exactly what we expected. Very clean, very private, close to several wineries,, and the hot tub was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

The outside of the cabin was beautiful - just what we were looking for in a secluded cabin. But the inside blew us away. Incredible detail making it very modern but with a rustic flair. The hot tub was wonderful. We loved sipping wine and relaxing late at night in the hot tub! We will definitely be back!

The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail features 13 wineries, 13 experiences, located 10 minutes of one another and surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest.
The 278,537 acres of natural beauty in the Shawnee National Forest is ideal for outdoor recreation. The forest landscape features rolling hills, forests, open lands, lakes, creeks and rugged bluffs. The forest has a system of 403 miles of equestrian/hiking trails, camping and picnic areas.
Or you may opt to stay in at Cedar Sunset Cabin for your private soak in the hot tub and incredible views of the sunset over the lake with a cozy evening by the fireplace.
