If you are looking to accommodate more than one group who would like to stay close to each other we have 2 houses side by side that you can reserve all in the same gated community. These properties book months in advance so make sure you plan ahead. The other listings are www.vrbo.com/1002539

This gated luxury home is perfect for large groups or a family looking for private accommodation close to all amenities. Walk to Golf club, Spa, Restaurants, Coffee shop, and Recreational Center. Only a 15 min drive to downtown Victoria. You will love the mountain views and gardens surrounding this property. Enjoy a Chef's kitchen and BBQ

Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms and a bunk bed with ensuite bathrooms off each room and a small bedroom with a double bed on the main floor. The lower floor is complete with two more large Queen bedrooms and a full bathroom. There is also a pull-out couch in the basement. We have also added another twin bed at the end of the hallway. A total of 8 beds.

This house backs on to the 18th hole of the Championship Jack Nicklaus Bear Mountain golf course. Walk to the clubhouse for golf or executive spa. Take the kids for a short walk to the recreational center and playground.

Perfect for our group

9 of us senior ladies over 75 enjoyed our stay!! It took a bit of time trying to figure out what bedrooms we wanted on what floors!!, So many lovely ones, to choose from. Somewhat overwhelming !!! Once we figured what was on what floor, and who needed whatever, we settled in nicely!! A glass of wine settled down our pounding hearts!!! One could not ask for a better stocked home. Everything was there. Thank you for that. We especially enjoyed the big round dining table ( which fit 9 perfectly!), for our card games, and meals. Nice to have had a home that also had the required amount of seating in the living room. Nice to warm up close to the fireplace. Our group will return, and I encourage you to also consider this perfect home for your vacation get-a-way!!

Great Family Time

The property and house were lovely and was just what we needed for the family event - the only issue we had was parking. It was listed as parking for 4 vehicles online; 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. We had a complaint about parking in the driveway and the document in the house said no parking in the driveway. We would have complied without an issue had we known about the on street parking before arrival.

Great space for a group!

We had a lovely stay on Bear Mountain. The large number of sleeping areas perfectly accommodated our group of 10. The house was clean and well equipped. The location was perfect to explore both downtown Victoria and the surrounding area.

Great home with everything we needed. Property was as described and was a great spot for a weekend golf trip with friends, walking distance to Bear Mountain golf.

3 families, 11 people total.

Nice house, good location. We had 3 families staying, with 5 kids ranging from 20 months-4 years. We rented playpens and highchairs, but we wish the listing would have said that they had 2 highchairs and a playpen. Would be nice to have blackout blinds as every room was bright very early on in the mornings. Lots of appliances, kitchen gear, books, games, dvds. Would stay again. Property managers responded quickly to texts and addressed any issues we had.

Quiet neighborhood

Overall the house is great for our use: 4 couples. Layout of the house is optimal for entertainment. Plenty of sofas for relaxation. Appreciated the usage of the 2 car garage. Being picky : too many leftover condiments (who knows how old) in the fridge. Didn’t have use of the coffee maker as it was not operational during our stay. Lastly, clearer communication required if owner wishes the renters to “take out the garbage and recycling”. These little things easily fixable, would have made the overall experience a great one.

Family Treat Retreat

This accommodation was amazing. Lots of room for a large group. Very comfortable, well appointed, basic essentials provided and in a beautiful location close to resort amenities. The host is amazing to deal with and responds quickly. I can't think of a better home away from home. Thank you to the host for making this home available.

This is the message we sent to the owner but did not get a response You have a beautiful home in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. We have found a few things we found we should bring to your attention. We found: 1. A wine glass that was cracked. 2. The couch facing windows has a broken handle on the right side. 3. Counter top on the island has a small chunk out 4. Multiple stains on the brown bed spread in the Master. 5. Toaster only works on 1 side and even it is sad. Needs to be replaced. 6. Peppermill does.not work. 7. We had to re-wash some dishes, glasses and some pots and pans had grease on them and not clean. 8. Hinges in the basement rooms are very squeaky and need attention. 9. Laundry room light flickers constantly and needs replacement. 10. Master bathtub tile has broken corner on the right front. 11. Popcorn under 2 of the couches plus a small kid's game. 12. TV in the 2nd bedroom upstairs on has a power connection and no cable box, unusable and frustrating. 13. Toilets continually run in th basement. 14. Front doors are not very solid even when locked. They both move and don't appear solid. These are presented so you would know and meant.to help you maintain a 5-star rating in the future. All the best, Andy & crew"

The best VRBO ever!!!

I just checked out of this home in Canada. It was by far, the best VRBO I have stayed in! Bear Mountain neighborhood is gorgeous and very peaceful. My kids really enjoyed walking to the rec center to swim. I loved the central location for exploring all of Victoria. I would definitely stay here again, and most likely will!

Park your vehicles in an extra large garage and walk to all amenities. Drive to downtown Victoria in 20 min or take a shuttle from the Westin Hotel ($15/person) and enjoy the beauty of the harbour. Biking, hiking, golf, tennis, swimming, fitness centre are all within walking distance from the house. The house was built with 9 ft ceilings, crown mouldings, x-large windows and doors, high end furnishings, executive bathrooms, 55" TV's with cable, netflix, and sound bar.
