Built with all the details of comfort in mind. The home boasts an open floor plan with oversized living room & dining room spilling into a modern kitchen. Jumbo sectional & 65” TV for large groups (Wii w/games).
Large dining table seats 6, in additional to 8 high end barstool built-ins around the kitchen. Dining area also has built in shelving with board games, video library, & books.
The beautiful kitchen is equipped with granite countertops & modern stainless steel appliances, pots & pans (including other cooking essentials), basic spices & condiments. Coffee bar includes a 12 cup coffee maker & Keurig.
NEW BOAT DOCK BUILT IN 2021.
Master bedroom overlooking the lake has king bed & luxurious bathroom with double sinks & oversized shower including a rain shower head.
King bed in guest retreat also overlooks the scenic lake views.
Bunkroom with 2 bunk beds sleeps 4 (also has lake view). Guest retreat & bunk room separated by full size bathroom with shower/tub combo. (Sleeps 8 total in beds but 10 if using living room. Large living room sectional is 2 oversized couches. Extra sheets and blankets in closets to accommodate sleeping)
A half bathroom comes off the living room and incorporates a full sized washer & dryer (laundry soap provided).
Enjoy morning coffee or dine on the covered porch, patio, or by the lake. Outdoor seating for 10. Grill provided for use by guests off the concrete patio.
Kayak up & down the cove (2 single kayaks, 1 junior kayak...please bring vests, which are required for watercraft) or play a game of horseshoes at the horseshoe pit. There are large steps to walk right into the lake for swimming directly off the property.

This is a lake home you won't want to leave. It's in a peaceful wooded community & excellent for families. It's easy to just relax & soak up the beauty of nature.
Additionally, Cedar Creek Lake is in close proximity to Canton. After a shopping weekend at Canton Trade Days, retreat to the home for a night of pampering by the lake to refresh.
Also, close to the conveniences of the towns of Mabank, Gun Barrel City, Seven Points, & Kemp. Great independent stores & restaurants as well as a Brookshires grocery store, Walmart Supercenter, Movie Theater, family entertainment venue (go-karts, mini-golf, etc), as well as multiple places to rent boats or jet skis. We will do our best to offer any suggestions to accommodate you on your stay.

Perfect

The house was roomy and very clean. Sock was fun for my 12 year old son even during high winds. The home was exactly as described. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful retreat

Greet property that had everrything we needed for a quick weekend get away with our family. We had 4 adults and 4 kids from ages 6-11. We enjoyed kayaking, relaxing in the hammocks, fishing right off the dock, and all the fun games that were available at the house. We plan on returning!

fantastic stay

The property was absolutely perfect, everything as described. Lots of amenities and fully stocked kitchen, lots of games. We were able to enjoy sitting in the yard, kayaking in the water, and walking the beautiful neighborhood.

Perfect weekend getaway!

The house was nice and well kept. There was plenty for everyone to do both inside and out. The area was very nice and the neighbors were very friendly. We will definitely come back and stay again!

Great getaway for our girls trip!

We enjoyed this well stocked lake house! One of the only times that I’ve gotten to a rental and thought it looked better in person. We had a great time and the kitchen and living room were so spacious for lounging. We would definitely come back.

Family Time

Great location! House is spacious and up to date. Huge kitchen area! Big backyard and easy access to the lake. Friendly neighbors. Perfect weekend and place to spend time with family. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

The home was awesome, clean, well stocked, and roomy. The backyard is large and shaded, and the steps into the water and new pier/boatdock made it easy to enjoy the water. The grandbabies and my grown kids had a great time. We highly recommend this place, the hosts were so nice and communicated well with us.

Wonderful stay and outstanding property

This is a model for all VRBO homes. Very clean, no masking fragrances, well maintained, property is better than the pictures, clear and complete instructions for arrival and departure and Stephanie is responsive host. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning. Keeping the car in the garage was a big bonus!

BEST EVER

The house and amenities were OVER THE TOP FANTASTIC ! Communication with the host was excellent and she even allowed us an early check in. We will definitely be looking to make this a repeat stay in the future. The neighborhood is super clean and everyone we met was so friendly and nice. GREAT GREAT -- highly recommend.

The Perfect Weekend Get-a-way!

I rented this for myself and grown kids and one grandson; we all absolutely loved it. The neighbors on both sides were very friendly, everything was exceptionally tidy and the place is beautiful. I highly recommend - don't hesitate when choosing this as your rental you'll be very happy with your choice. Thank you for the great memories made here.

Mother of the Bride Home

Beautiful Home, better than advertised! Stephanie was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful as I was coming in from Florida and trying to find a location close to my daughter's wedding venue. I was less than a mile away, able to go back and forth to the evets and relax in a beautiful home with fabulous views. Will return for a vacation to utilize all of the wonderful things this house offers. Thank you for everything!

Loved it!

We took our extended family on a trip to the lake for Labor Day weekend. The house was spacious, clean and beautiful. Very high end appliances and a dual head rain shower in the master! The back lawn had plenty of chairs and the hammock was comfy. The trees gave wonderful shade. We brought our boat and there is only a post in the water to tie to. The neighbor was kind enough to let us dock at their dock for the two days we were there. We LOVED the kayaks. So fun for the kids to have a junior kayak too. Overall just a great trip. Highly recommend to anyone.

August on the lake

It was hot!! 100+ everyday but the breeze off the lake was so great and it just nade the water feel so refreshing. The water was pretty low but still sufficient for boat launch and use of kayaks and paddle boards. The house is on a cove just off the main body of the lake so we didnt worry about the big boats at all. We had absolutely everything we needed and the communication was top notch. There were 6 steps into the rear door which wasn't a problem for us but might be for others. We definitely would stay again.

Perfect New Year's Eve Getaway!

Our family, who visits Cedar Creek regularly, decided to spend NYE on the lake this year. Based primarily on the excellent reviews, we booked this property and couldn't be happier that we did. The house was perfect and exactly as advertised, and the backyard and boat dock were amazing. Plenty of room in the yard to play and run around, and catching several catfish off the dock was quite enjoyable and effortless. The neighbors are incredibly friendly and had nothing but nice things to say about the property owners. Speaking of which, communication with Stephanie is exceptional. Very helpful and always quick to respond whenever we had questions or comments. From fireworks to fishing, this property had exactly what we were looking for in our NYE getaway. We look forward to staying in contact with Stephanie and returning soon!

Wonderful lakefront getaway!!

My husband & I, our two grown sons & their families spent 4 nights over spring break, March 3024. The grandkids, ages 4-10 all had a blast! The house was beautiful, well equipped with anything we could possibly need & very roomy for all 10 of us. The weather was chilly, but the kids had so much fun staying warm by the huge fire pit & roasting hotdogs and s’mores. They enjoyed fishing off the pier as well as taking turns going for rides to sightsee & fish from the boat we brought from home. I just can’t say enough about how helpful & our host, Stephanie, was. She was very prompt to respond to us if we reached out to her w/ a question. After we returned home, one of my sons realized that he had left something behind. She was so helpful to see if she could find it for us and then worked out a way for him to come and pick it up. Friendly neighbors, nice neighborhood and overall a wonderful weekend! We highly recommend & hope to return for another visit!

We chose this property, because it's a newer home. We love the open floor plan. We love the quiet cove. We love that the location is convenient but just far enough to not be in the thick of town. It's a lovely place!
