This spacious retreat, featuring a newly added bunk room, comfortably accommodates families and groups seeking relaxation and connection, offering the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern comforts.

You'll be delighted by the array of amenities that await you. Enjoy breathtaking views from the expansive covered patio, perfect for morning coffee or evening gatherings. The private dock, situated in a peaceful cove, offers direct lake access for boating, fishing, and swimming. The property was more impressive in person than the photos could depict. It's in a beautiful location on a peaceful finger of the lake, protected from the wind and chop on the larger part of the lake. Our group was three couples of old friends who stayed in the home during a holiday weekend. It was so nice sitting on the covered back patio enjoying the lake view and the sound of families playing and laughing together. If I didn't want a lake house before, I certainly do now! The living room was spacious and provided a great place for old friends to catch up. We didn't have an opportunity to use the kayaks, but the dock was a great place to spend a morning or evening fishing and taking in the peaceful environment. (Not that I caught anything...) The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to make and enjoy great meals together, and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. The home was very clean and well kept. It rained almost 3" during the first day of our visit, and there was a little leak down the inside of one window in the master. When I notified the owner, she was quick to respond and thanked me for telling her. The leak posed no issue to our stay, I was more worried about damage to the home. I mention it because I was so impressed with the owner's very positive response and concern for our stay. If I can find another time when we're all available I'll certainly return for another reunion. I highly recommend for couples and families!

End of summer family lake trip

Perfect location for our family get together. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 kids. The bunkroom gave the kids a place away from the adults for games and hanging out. The location on the cove was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding without a lot of boat traffic.

Great for Family

The back yard and dock are great for young kids through grandparents. All our day time is spent on the water. Only used the house for sleeping and showering, it was comfortable at the end of a fun day.

Awesome Church Youth Retreat!

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and had a really good experience. Our youth was able to do water activities, such as fishing, swimming, kayaking, and boating…plenty of room for everyone. Had a great time!

Wonder place. Plenty of beds. A bunk room that doubled as a play room. Beautiful view. Access to swim in the lake. Great covered porch to sit on and relax. Everything you need.

Another great family vacay

This is the second year we have stayed at this location. Another great experience! Lots of family memories made!Spent lots of time on the dock fishing or just relaxing. Lots of fish caught!!Our family loves this place and we will be back next summer.

Clean and well equipped house

We enjoyed our stay in this Lake house. As advertised, the views from the dock and the patio are very nice..It was a peaceful weekend for our family. We would recommend this house.

Fishing was amazing!

The house just right for our needs and was in a great fishing spot! The host was quick to fix some small things and get the house ready for our 4 day weekend. We made forever memories and couldn’t be happier! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Best Stay ever!

This is our fourth year in a row booking at cedar creek lake and And this location is by far the best location er have stayed at!! The host was very attentive and answered all the calls right away. The house was very clean and right on the lake as promised! Beautiful house, wonderful host. Would highly recommend!!

PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY!

House was clean and cozy. The Bunk room was great for the kids and the dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. We would stay here again.

Great Location

Property is in a great location and has decent amenities. We did struggle with few issues in the house, probably some maintenance work is required. Other than that, we had great experience.

Family reunion

We rented this property for a family reunion/celebration of life. It is a beautiful property and accommodated our family perfectly (we had two additional properties on the other side of the cove as well). Would highly recommend!

Perfect Place for our Family Vacay

Our family has stayed at several VRBOs on Cedar creek.We have finally found our favorite...perfect location on a quiet cove. our grandchildren range in age from 17 to 24 and the bunkroom was perfect for them. We found everything we needed in the kitchen...all of it labeled. Plenty of storage for food and extras we brought in the laundryroom. Two refrigerators were very helpful. We enjoyed the deck during the day and at night. We caught lots of fish right off the dock. The paddleboards and kayaks were used alot. We enjoyed meeting the great neighbors and their pups. Great times and memories were had by all. We will definitely be back. Thank you April for your hospitality.

Never again

HIGH dollar 4 night stay at a sub par rental. No cleaning supplies, worn out furniture, lights don’t work and half of the bulbs burned out, Wi-Fi is trash, lady who runs it is in for quick cash grab. States a pet fee, she charged me double that. Place stays 16 I guess she doesn’t realize that people travelling from all over can’t carpool. She is trying to charge me for damage to the grass that was already there and claiming we damaged the neighbors septic. Yeah right. Cash grab. I’ve stayed in over 50 rentals over the last 10 years and I’ve never had a problem, not one. Never again.

Lake vacation

Had a great time. House was very nice and quiet. Rented a boat and jet ski for lots of water fun. Owner provided lots of options for water play too. Would definitely rent again!

We were so thrilled to find this beautiful, almost 1-acre home a little over an hour southeast of Dallas. It has brought our family and friends great joy and a place for retreat, rest and restoration. The large back yard, quiet cove and peaceful dock creates year round restoration. We are excited to share it with others on weekends we can't be here!

We looked at lots and lots of homes on this lake (and others) before buying. We wanted a quiet cove where kids could jump in and play without us worrying about open water. We love the large backyard and many trees, which offers fun play and plenty of shade! Lastly, the previous owner did an amazing job renovating, including a stone fireplace which we love in the winter and a 200 sq ft covered backyard with fire pit that is used year round.
