Excellent accommodations in a nice neighborhood

The apartment was quiet, compact, and quite comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. The neighborhood has ample shopping nearby, including a twice-a-week street market just outside the door. Metro stop is 2 minutes away. A really nice apartment: I would happily stay there again.

Charming and Comfortable

Ideal stay in an authentic quarter

The area is a real joy in its sense of a real neighborhood with several good value restaurants, boulangeries, and shops within easy walking distance, as is a Metro stop, and the beautiful and expansive Bois de Vincennes. The apartment itself is handsome and well appointed. Eric provided a warm welcome and helpful instructions. Highly recommend! Nous vous remercions.

Very comfortable Paris apartment

We stayed at Eric’s apartment for a week and enjoyed each and every day. The neighborhood was new to us but had everything we needed and the easy metro access takes you anywhere you want to visit. We would certainly stay again.

comfortable stay in a real neighborhood

We spent 5 nights and enjoyed it a lot. The metro and bus is close as well as grocery stores and bakeries. It does take about 1/2 hour to get into the middle of Paris and it is not walkable. The bed was comfortable. You must be able to climb one level of stars even though there is a lift.

Bel-Air apartment

This was our second stay at Eric's apartment, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is comfortable and well equipped. We love the neighborhood. Lovely parks, the metro, markets and reasonable restaurants are all nearby. We are looking forward to being able to stay again sometime.

Beautiful Apartment

Eric’s apartment is both functional and charming. It has beautiful high ceilings and a washing machine! The neighborhood has few tourists and a multitude of very good restaurants. It was a relief to come back to after the crowds in central Paris

Lovely French appartment

East side apartment close to metro but away from tourists. A very French experience. Clean, convenient, lovely park nearby. We had beautiful weather and a terrific Paris experience in this charming VRBO.

Very Comfortable Apartment in a good area

Clean, comfortable, quiet apartment in an area with all requirements close by; park walks, metro, choice of boulangeries, grocery shopping, etc. Market on the street outside your window twice a week. Eric met us at the apartment to review all details.

Beautiful apartment

Comfortable, beautiful apartment on a lovely street with great bakeries and good grocery stores steps away. V. close to the metro and bus. And we were pleasantly surprised by the promenade plantee above the busy streets on which we walked all the way to the Bastille. We cannot recommend this property too highly. It is perfect.

A quiet, charming, comfortable apartment in a bustling city

The proprietor was easy to work with and very accommodating, the neighborhood felt safe and walkable at all hours, the open air markets on Thursday and Sunday morning offered a colorful and appealing variety of fresh, ripe fruits , vegetables, baked goods, fish, sausage and more, the park just up the block gave us the unexpected opportunity to rent row boats followed by a trip to the zoo, a real treat for us. We hope to return often. 👍

Having a private apartment added much to our stay!

We really enjoyed having our own Parisian apartment during our visit. The apartment is very safe, near two metro stations, three bakeries!, candy store, fruit stands, and two grocery stores. All of this was within easy walking distances! There is plenty of hot water and the kitchen is well stocked and everything worked. Thank you Eric for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment!

Live in the neighbourhood like a local

Property was old world charm and very tastefully renovated. You need to be able to carry your luggage up or down at least 20 stairs even using the elevator - not unlike in the Metro. Walk out the door and you have everything at your fingertips as well as fresh food markets twice per week and other stalls once per week. Metro is very close by.

Truth in advertising.

First, the description on the apt. was completely accurate: size, location, Metro, farmers market, neighborhood. Plenty of hot water; great bakeries, quiet neighbors. Would re-rent in a second. Merci Eric.

very nice !

We had a very nice stay at Eric's house. Eric's son Alexandre received us very well and explained everything in the house and surroundings. The house is very nice, clean and well equiped, there are shops, cafes and the metro nearby. It's really a very nice house and very nice neighbourhood. When we come to Paris again we surely will try to stay there.

Great apartment, great Owner

If you want to be in 11th district this is a great place. Kitchen is well stocked for dishes and utensils. Subway is 1 minute away. The street is very busy but inside apartment is quiet. The owner met us and made entry very easy. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Wonderful Apartment located in the 12th Arrondissement

This is the second time we have enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment in the twelfth arrondissement. Located in a delightful quartier with convenient food shops, bakery and wine shops, and Thursday and Sunday farmers market on the avenue, the possibilities are many. The metro is steps away. The neighborhood is lively during the day and quiet at night. The apartment is wonderful!

Charming and lovely..

Eric is attentive and wonderful. Apartment has all the conveniences of home and is bright and cheerful. Very French and thoughtfully done. All kinds of wonderful shops everywhere- I was content and comfortable and enjoyed just being in the apartment. Delightful ambiance - perfect!!

Authentic Parisian Apartment

Conveniently located close to a metro stop and lots of amenities at your front door - across the street from groceries and a bakery. Even a place to purchase a sim card for our cell phone. Apartment is gorgeous, kitchen is well-equipped and has a dishwasher. Host was responsive and helpful.

Lovely apartment in the 12th!

We stayed for almost a month in this very comfortable apartment. Really enjoyed the neighborhood because everything was so convenient. The market right outside our door made cooking so easy, and there are many more markets close by to visit. At night it was very quiet so we were able to rest up for our next day adventures. The subway is close so it was very easy to get to main area of Paris. We also loved being so close to the park! The owner responded very quickly to any concern we had. Would love to come back someday to this same apartment!

Adorable apartment

Adorable apartment, quiet with a very comfortable bed and a perfect shower and bathroom. Nespresso machine needed cleaning, but I let the owner know to be sure that was taken care of in the future. Door lock was very tricky to operate. Otherwise, the apartment was perfect. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a fresh market 3 times a week. Close to métro line 8, so easy to go anywhere in Paris.
