Nice clean modern cabin with an AMAZING hill country view and access to a section of Flat Creek. Harriet was highly responsive and we had a great time!

This 'cabin' is luxurious, from the exceptionally well stocked kitchen to the curious and entertaining wall decorations. Bed is great, furniture excellent and more than two people could use on a weekend. A morning on the deck with coffee (beans supplied by Harriet!) and birds plus spectacular views starts a day off right. Pedernales Falls State Park is right next door. And communication with Harriet is easy. This is a terrific place all around; we plan to go back.

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the cabin nice and very clean comfortable. The front porch was the best view favorite part of the house.

Absolutely wonderful property!!! Sadly we had to cut our trip short due to a family medical emergency and we communicated to the host that we had to depart 2 days early to get back home asap. The property owner was very quick to respond with kind words & understanding. We plan to come back to finish our vacation at a later date. We loved the property & so did our fur babies!

We had a wonderful time staying here! The host was very nice with keeping us updated about the weather (very rainy), but being up high we stayed rather dry. The house is at great location with a short stroll to the creek, we enjoyed seeing the plant life and the sitting on the porch watching the birds in the morning. Would highly recommended staying here for a nice quiet stay away from the world.

Great stay at this cabin. Very well maintained, clean, had everything we needed. Beautiful views. Wonderful that our doggies were welcome, they enjoyed it too.

Harriet was extremely communicative from the second we booked her rental. She’s extremely accommodating and her property is a little slice of heaven. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful and super remote with your own creek to enjoy! Cabin was immaculate. View was incredible! So peaceful and quiet. Ecologists, naturalists and birders will love this hidden gem. Our host was extremely attentive and communicative. Pictures don’t do it justice. Great find. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We enjoyed the creek and canoeing so much!! There is not a fenced area for your pets, so they need to stay on their leashes or be trained to come when called. This is a beautiful property, very private and relaxing. Great bird watching, and we saw deer everyday. Would definitely return! Harriett was a lovely host as well.

This was like staying in a luxury bird hide with hill-country views. Hiking the dry creek bed was an adventure. We got to relax just sitting on the patio doing bird watching for hours. We enjoyed the rustic games room. We will definitely be back.

Property was precisely as described! Host was very attentive to our needs. While there was no water in the creek due to the drought, we had a great time walking the creek bed with our dogs. Great property! We will be back!!

Everything was amazing. Here are the highlights:-Incredible views-Beautiful birds (my wife cried when she saw a Painted Bunting )-Delicious coffee that was included with beans and a grinder (I need to know what kind of coffee beans those were)-Canoeing the river was serene in the morning. It was so quiet and peaceful-Pedernales State Park is SO CLOSE and the swimming area was definitely a highlight-It feels INCREDIBLY private and secluded-The location is great as far as having access to a bunch of different areas...15 minutes to Dripping Springs30 minutes to Johnson City40 minutes to Wimberley45 minutes to Fredericksburg45 minutes to AustinOther VRBOers with experience staying in a lot of rentals might understand what I mean by this, but this house actually felt like we were staying in a REAL home; not a curated space with cheap furniture and Hobby Lobby decor. The pictures do not do it justice, and I recommend this place a million times over. Thank you, Harriet!

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful setting and great location for everything in the Hill Country. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway.

Beautiful getaway!

This was our frist time using an air bnb for a getaway, the entire process was great and easy. The home was perfect for the 2 of us on our honeymoon, set it the most peaceful place ever.
